David felt his chest feel light when he heard Lily's voice.

“Why did you call me so many times, Lily? Did something happen? My phone is silent and I didn't realize that you were calling.” explained David.

“Dave, ... My mother was beaten!”

‘What? Aunt Sally beaten?’

If David had to make a list of the people he cares about most in the world from the ones he cares most about to the least, then his aunts Sally Lowe and Diana Lidell would take first place. That is, not including his dead parents.

David ends the call with Lily and immediately calls Wayne and the others so they can come and pick her up.

After ending the call, David glanced towards the bathroom where Amelia was bathing. Without telling him, he went down.

On the way to the village, David sends an SMS to Amelia to explain that something has happened at home and she has to leave. He also told her that she was free to spend the night at her house.

After sending the message, David pondered for a moment before adding a sentence.

“Something really happened, Amelia! I swear I didn't run away!”

It would be very insulting to her character if Amelia finally misunderstood and assumed that she had a flaw in 'it'.

So he went and wanted to do it. Amelia took the windbed by the pool and put it on the water, and she lay down on it. The mattress slowly floated into the middle of the pond, and he lay on it staring at the stars above.

It would be perfect if David was here hugging her. Maybe they could also share a bottle of red wine. Amelia looked at the towel she wrapped around her body and took it off.

At the same time, David was rushing to Aunt Sally's house. Aunt Sally's injury is a big deal. Although not serious, David still feels guilty, especially when he was injured when collecting money for him.

It was already six in the morning when David arrived at Shu City. He takes a short nap in the morning, while Wayne and Gavin take turns driving.

David takes the wheel as soon as they arrive in Shu City because Wayne and Gavin are unfamiliar with the streets and they will arrive sooner if David is driving.

After arriving at Aunt Sally's residence, David has Wayne and Gavin wait in the car while she leaves alone.

Lily opened the door. David had already told him about his arrival when he arrived at Shu City.

"How is he doing? Where's Aunt Sally? Where is Jacey?” ask David.

"Inside. My dad's watching Jace, making sure he won't go and look for Quinn.”

David immediately saw Uncle Yousef sitting on the sofa watching television as soon as he entered the house.

"Uncle Yousef!" David greeted with a shout.

“You're here, Dave! Go check on your Aunt Sally! Seriously, he was not young anymore, why would he go and fight with others? See it? Now he's bedridden!” Yousef.

Uncle Yousef was a scribe, so he was very reliable and could remain calm despite the problems. He may not be the best for David, but he has never treated David badly during his two years

David's life with Uncle Bobby goes down sharply after Uncle Bobby receives compensation, and David's life gets better after he moves in to live with Aunt Sally at his house.

David is already twenty-one now, he is about to graduate university, but Uncle Bobby shows no signs of returning the money to him.

“I'll handle this, Uncle Yousef. Don't worry, I'll get justice for Aunt Sally.”

“Do not use violence, Dave. If they do not listen to reason, then we will protect ourselves with the law. Don't act rashly, okay?”

“I understand, Uncle Yousef. I'll check Jace.”

David then walked into Jacey's room. This used to be his bedroom too. Aunt Sally lived in a three-bedroom apartment, so she spent two years in this house and roomed with Jacey. They're pretty close.
