Three hours later, David received a call from Cade, the South River Provincial Cabinet Minister.

David wasted no time in making small talk and immediately told him what happened and the involvement of government officials in this matter, then told the man to handle the matter appropriately.

At the same time, David also tells the SCC members present in Shu City to try and oppress Shu City's richest businessman, Eden, and Milton gang bosses with their own methods and strangle them both financially.

Shu City is just a small county, Eden and Milton happen to have some connections in Shu City. They could not even be considered nobles.

It was the three sons of the wealthy Shu City family who framed King Kong, as well as their father. They were strong people in Shu City, yet here they trembled while kneeling on the spot.

Even an idiot could connect the dots, and Colby immediately looked at David who was not far in front of him.

The admiration in his heart surged like a powerful flood and threatened to overwhelm him.

As expected of David, the man was too great. All David did was sit down and drink tea before his opponent approached and kneeled in front of him. David ignored the six people kneeling on the ground, and turned to the others standing.

“Thank you all for coming. Come on, I'll treat you all to a meal!”

“One stays! We're just here to see you in action, sir. We barely did anything.”

“You're all here, so let me treat you, okay? Don't reject me.”

Then, David walked over and took them away. Just to see some people coming towards him. Standing at the front was Cade, the cabinet minister of South River Province.

“Halo, Mr Lidell! I'm Cade Nelson.” greet Cade with outstretched arms when I see David.

He was completely shocked at this moment because of how young David was. This man was at least only in his twenties. Cade did not believe that this twenty-year-old would become the eleventh member of the Somerland Parliament. The current batch of ten members were all at least forty years old.

It was unthinkable that David managed to join their ranks despite his twenties. David will be very strong once he becomes a lawmaker, and given his age, David has a bright future ahead of him.

David was not a brash person, and Cade did treat him politely even though he was a provincial minister and his tattooist.

“I want it!” answer Cade.

It was as if he would turn down the opportunity to get to know David better. That's not possible. Not when he came all the way here just to leave a good impression on David.

“You first, Mr Nelson!”

“No, you first, Mr Lidell!”

Then they go together. Behind them, the SCC members watched David and Cade chatting amongst themselves.

“Jeez, isn't that cabinet minister of South River Province, Mr Nelson?”

“You're right! As expected of Mr. Lidell! He's so awesome! Even Mr. Nelson treated her politely.”

“Walk faster! We don't want to be left behind!”

The group of twenty to thirty members quickly followed David in a row of twenty to thirty cars.

After David and his group leave, Eden, Vere, Milton, and their son are left kneeling in the streets. There were also many people gathered to watch from afar. The six of them were famous in Shu City, so it was only natural that they drew a lot of attention as they knelt on the streets.

The crowd did not dare to approach them for fear of reprisals from these six men.

David and the others may have left, but Eden, Vere, Milton, and the others have not dared to stand. They were still terrified by what happened an hour ago.

“Nothing at all! We were still preparing for Mr. Nelson's arrival, but when he arrived, he told me to come here and kneel down to repent! It may not be the end for us if we are forgiven, but otherwise our lives will end in Somerland.” Vere said solemnly.

He still doesn't know what's going on. However, he knew that this was a big deal because Mr. Nelson himself had come to settle

that problem. He still felt cold when he remembered Mr. Nelson's attitude just now.

“What? They are that strong?!” Milton fell down in shock.

“We're in trouble! I'm telling you, this is fucked up! Really screwed!” Eden muttered to himself.

“Dad! I don't think it's our fault! Sure, we are terrible for people, but we have been in Shu City the whole time! We never acted out of line when we left Shu City, so there was no way we would offend someone so important! What if they chase you instead?” Lincoln tried to analyze.

“Yes! I agree with Lincoln. There is no way we can offend someone so powerful in Shu City!” Jed chimed.

“We are innocent, Father! This is not our fault at all.” Gilbert said pitifully.

“Then who are we dealing with? Why are they doing this?”

“We still don't know anything. Stay on your knees, they will come back eventually and we can decide what to do later once we know the truth.”

“Wait, so do we keep kneeling now?”

“Very clear! What else do you want to do?”

David takes everyone to the Frangipani Restaurant and orders the entire venue while also paying the bill for his High School reunion meal. David, Celia, and Colby then sat down with Cade and the other core officials in South River Province at another table. Meanwhile, SCC members split up to sit at three tables.

As far as they were concerned, this trip to Shu City would not be in vain if they could see David and leave a good impression on him. Seeing Mr. Nelson was beyond their expectations.

These officials were the most authoritative people in the South River Province. As expected of the person whose text alone had gathered the reply of the two SCC bosses and the courtesy of the Cabinet Ministers of South River Province.

They could only imagine how powerful David was. Even the three SCC bosses could not receive such treatment from Mr. Nelson, not when Cade Nelson was their elder. David and Cade chatted happily while eating. Celia was the only one who was calm, because David was here it made her feel confident.

Cade doesn't feel too stiff because he's no stranger to meetings with important people, but it's the first time that others have met a candidate for parliament like David.

Other officials were not high enough to get in touch with lawmakers, as provincial Cabinet Ministers were already the most authoritative people they knew. Therefore, they could only agree and smile as the other two spoke.

Celia felt proud when she saw David talking cheerfully with the others. He did not care whether David was rich or poor, or whether the man was famous or not. However, the more successful David is, the more it proves that his male taste is indeed high.

Of course, Celia is also overjoyed at David's success, as every woman wants her husband to be a hero. She really wanted to thank Sarah for dumping David, so it gave her the opportunity to be with this man.

After drinking with some tables around them, David said, “Master. Nelson, I still have some classmates there. I'll be right back, so please enjoy the meal.”

“Please, Mr Lidell! You don't need to worry.” said Cade politely.

David took Celia and Colby to the private room where he had lunch. Former classmates are still rowdy as usual.

They had no idea about the chaos that destroyed Shu City during the short afternoon.

Everyone is terrified when Cade orders a strict investigation into the incident with King Kong Jonah. They don't want to get caught up in this.

Everyone who had ever done business, commercial or illicit, with Eden and Milton immediately issued statements distancing themselves from them.

This was the first time several dozen families in South River Province had cooperated to attack. Now any problems there can lead to their total destruction.

Everyone greeted David enthusiastically when they saw him.

“Master Lidel! Come sit down, we've been waiting for you!”
