The next day, David calls Sandy and asks her to arrange for Jacey's high school admission. He planned to register her at the same place he attended.
There is so much that David cannot reach. He may be rich, but he hasn't built up his own strength yet. His name is only well known among the SCC and the T-Faction.
Ordinary people did not know him, and therefore he had no reason to do what he asked.
As the second daughter of the Luther family, enrolling a student was quite easy. Within minutes, she told David that Jacey was taken care of and could come to attend class. So, David drove Jacey to River City High.
River City High was a famous academy for rich children in the South River Province. Although a private school, its teachers are experienced and highly capable. Not to mention with the Luther family supporting its operations, River City High had a very famous reputation in the South River Province.
There are two types of students in this high school. Those who have outstanding grades and earn scholarships large enough to pay for school fees, boarding fees, and living expenses with extra stipends, or students from very wealthy families.
Sandy was already waiting for them when David took Jacey to River City High. David was stunned when he first saw Sandy. He could not believe his eyes. Sandy who still looks like a delinquent two nights ago has finished changing her appearance. Her african hairstyle was combed into twin tails, and her coiled earrings and thick makeup were nowhere to be seen. Wearing a short skirt school uniform, the woman in front of David looked like a pretty little girl!
Sandy is seventeen this year, studying her second year at River City High. However, since she was rather short, she looked like a little girl of around fifteen to sixteen years old.
Even Sandy's parents, grandfather, or older brother, Charles, didn't recognize Sandy, much less David.
They even suspect that something detrimental must have happened to Sandy, which would explain not only the change in the way she dresses, but also the fact that she stopped speaking rudely.
Charles even asked Sandy the reason several times, but Sandy did not tell him anything. Of course, Sandy wouldn't tell them that she just changed because David told her to.
He would definitely not tell the teachers at the school the reason either.
The fact that the demon in human form in the Luther family had turned into a beautiful and obedient woman shocked all the teachers in the school.
“Dave? What's wrong? Don't you recognize me anymore?” Sandy reached out to wave in front of David's face.
David flinched back to reality and replied, “That's great! It's a big change, I barely recognize you. But good, you look more like a schoolgirl now!”
“That's great, then! I'll listen to whatever you say from now on, Dave!” Sandy walked over and chuckled as she wrapped her hands around David's arms.
David felt a little uncomfortable with Sandy's actions. She was a seventeen year old girl, and contact with certain body parts was unavoidable when she hugged her like that.
'Maybe she just treated me as her brother!’ David said to himself.
What she doesn't know, that is, the last time Sandy hugged someone like this was with her brother, Charles, before she started high school. David was the first to experience such a privilege.
Fortunately, classes for the day had begun or else the other students would have been confused to see Sandy, a demon in human form, hugging another man's arm so tightly.
At the same time, Jacey felt her soul freeze at the sight of Sandy. His heart started racing, and his blood started pumping faster. Every organ inside him felt like he was walking at an incredible speed.
He had never felt this feeling before during his sixteen years of life. At an age where he was confused, he felt very surprised when he saw Sandy, a girl his age, yet it was already very extraordinary. It only took a while for Sandy to catch her heart. However, she quickly hid her thoughts when she saw Sandy acting so close to David.
“Sandy! Let me introduce you, this is my cousin, Jacey Greg!”
“Jacey, it's Sandy! Uhh.. sister girl my best friend.” David introduced them to each other.
“Halo, I'm Sandy!”
Sandy held one hand around David and reached out the other as she introduced herself to Jacey.
“Oh! H-H-Hai! I'm Jace, Jace!” Jacey introduced herself by stuttering.
David turned to look at Jacey when he heard her stutter. He realized that something was wrong. Jacey not only blushed, but she also stuttered. He looks like he's in love.
David then glanced at Sandy. The school uniform of the short skirt and the delicate features make it bloom with youthful energy. It was very different from the Sandy he saw at Fuller Golden Sands two nights ago.
Indeed, his appearance would be especially appealing to boys like Jacey who are in a confusing stage of puberty. David then decides that he will find time to talk to the boy. After all, Sandy was not an easy person to assess. Jacey should give up on Sandy as soon as possible, lest she end up with a battered and torn heart.
‘Hahh..First love, yes!’
David's first love that he maintained for four years had left him in a pool of his own blood.
“I've spoken to the school, Dave! So just take your cousin to the administration desk and he'll be registered.” Sandy said.
“Thank you, Sandy,” David thanked politely.
“Stop being polite to me, Dave!” Sandy argued, her cheeks bulging out of displeasure.
“Eh, alright, alright.” David raised his other hand to ruffle the top of Sandy's head.
“Yes! Let's go, Dave!”
Sandy drags David to follow her, enjoying the way David indulges her, while Jacey follows quietly behind them.
Sandy immediately took David to the River City High logistics office and within ten minutes, Jacey's registration procedure was completed.
Jacey was then taken to her class by the staff at the office. Meanwhile, Sandy follows David to the school entrance.
“Come to class, Sandy!”
“When did you come to my house, Dave?” ask Sandy, not to go.
“Not so fast. I've been a little busy lately, I'll go visit after I finish everything.” David replied after thinking.
“Alright then. You should come after you're free, okay?”
“Ya, of course, I'll come!.”
“Then I'm going to class now, Dave! Bye!”
“Bye. Watch your teacher and learn well.”
“I'll do it!”
Sandy then walked back towards the school building, though she turned to look at David every few steps. David got into his car. However, the more he thought about Sandy's behavior, the more he realized something was wrong.
‘No way, he couldn't possibly have a crush on me, right? Actually, maybe not! But why did he change his appearance when I told him to? He did not change when his family told him to.
What am I supposed to do now? I mean yes, I know I'm handsome and strong, rich, and successful.I guess I left a deep impression on him when he was in great danger and feeling desperate. This feeling will pass after a while, right?’
So, David decided that he would minimize contact with Sandy from then on.
