The Strongest Man in the Universe

The Strongest Man in the Universe
Chapter 61

David arrives at Jacey's room and tries to open the door. However, it was futile, because Jacey had locked it from the inside.

Tok Tok Tok!

David knocked on the door and said, “This is me, Jace, open the door.”

After a while, the sound of the door lock being opened could be heard, but the door remained closed. David pushes open the door and enters, only to see an angry Jacey in bed.

Jacey is only sixteen this year, studying her first year of high school in Shu City. His father Yousef has attracted many connections to enroll Jacey into a good high school.

Jacey is currently in a rebellious age, so she wants revenge when her mother is beaten. It was only natural that he felt angry when his father told him to stay at home.

“What happened, Jace? Tell me.” said David as he walked over to pat Jacey on the shoulder.

“Dave! Quinn hit my mom! I'll kill him, but my father won't let me go! Just because my father is a coward doesn't mean I'm a coward too!” jacey said furiously.

David hit the back of Jacey's head and reprimanded, “What? Who talks about their father like that, huh?”

"I'm not wrong!" Jacey denied.

“Your father is not a coward, he is logical. What if something happens to her? What will happen to you and your sister? Your mother's back is weak, she can't do anything too tiring. Your father took care of your whole family, he's done enough. How can you call him a coward?"

“If he can't afford to go, at least let me! But he won't let me out."

“Stop saying that you will kill people here and there. Your mother would be heartbroken if anything happened to you. It's because of me, so let me finish this, okay? I promise I'll get justice.”

"Certainly that?" ask Jacey.

"of course! Just wait! Once Aunt Sally's back recovers, we'll go and get revenge for Aunt Sally!"

"All right! You said it, Dave!”

David takes Jacey out and they sit in the living room, waiting for Lily to bring her breakfast. In the living room, David tells Uncle Yousef that he wants to take Aunt Sally to River City for treatment.

Yousef thought about it and agreed, then he called his boss and asked for leave. He had wanted to take his wife Sally to the big hospital in River City for a long time, but Sally had always refused.

Actually, Sally just wanted to keep costs down. After all, Yousef was the only one working in this house and their current expenditure was already quite high.

Sally woke up not long after.

David hurried over.

“Aunt Sally! How are you doing?"

“Dave? Why are you here?" ask Aunt Sally.

“Aunt Sally, how could I not come back when something this big happened?” answer David.

"That's no big deal. My back is always in trouble. I'll be fine after a few days.”

“Aunt Sally, why should you go and ask for compensation to Uncle Bobby? Don't you know what kind of person he is?"

"alright. We can talk about it later, the most important thing now is to get treatment for your back. I've called a nice hospital in River City, and we can leave in a minute.”

“River City? I don't want to go! I'm doing fine! I'll be like new in a few days, so it's no use at all to leave. I've been through this for years." Reject Aunt Sally.

What Aunt Sally was worried about was how much the treatment cost in River City. His family was not wealthy, as Yousef was the only working adult and the sole breadwinner.

His children are currently studying at university and high school, while David's tuition fees are given with the help of David's aunt, Diana. There is little or no savings in the home, and using limited funds for its maintenance will only make the financial situation at home even more precarious.

Her husband Yousef had also persuaded her to go to a hospital in the city and check her back, but she never agreed. Naturally, he would not agree right now either.

“Aunt Sally, I know you don't want to spend money, but don't worry. I've made some money now, so let's get some medicine, and let me help ease your burden from now on!” urged David.

“You're just a student, so how much money do you make? I'm telling you, Dave, you better focus on your studies and not even think about getting involved in illegal business! Otherwise, how would you explain yourself to your parents? How are you going to explain yourself to me and your Aunt Diana?" Aunt Sally lectured Dave solemnly.

“Aunt Sally, I really didn't do anything bad! Do you know me? You saw me grow up!” David denied with a wry smile.

The reason why he had kept his fortune a secret from Aunt Sally before was because he did not want his Aunt to think too much.

She originally planned to let Lily reveal her wealth slowly, but she did not expect that she would be too afraid to tell her mother. He had no other choice now but to be straightforward.

Aunt Sally did not believe her, and she refused to go to River City for treatment no matter how David persuaded her. He did not change his mind even when Yousef and Lily joined forces to persuade him. There was nothing more David could do than tell Aunt Sally.

“My car is below. If you don't believe me, how about we go and see it?”

In the end, with everyone's help, Sally arrived downstairs and saw David's Benz G-Class. The eyes of Sally, Yousef, and Jacey widened in shock at the sight of the luxurious G-Wagon. They were too surprised to say anything.

Lily, however, was not so amazed by the three million dollar G-Wagon because she had seen David's eighty million Bugatti Veyron. Not to mention he still had a hundred million David transferred to him on his bank card. Although his family might faint from shock if he told them about it.

Yousef was rather knowledgeable, so he knew that this expensive-looking G-Wagon should cost at least a million dollars. He knew that David must have achieved enough success to be able to buy such an expensive car. He is happy that David has achieved great things because he is like a son to Yousef.

David has been living in his house for two years, and Yousef treats David well. As a classic Benz model, the G-Wagon is a dream car for many men.

Even Jacey was confused. He could only dream of having such a nice car. It was too cool and looked luxurious. He could imagine how envious his classmates would be if he drove him to school. Since the car belonged to David, he knew he would have the chance to drive it someday.

“Dave! This your car?” Aunt Sally asked, back to reality.

“That's right, Aunt Sally! I promise you, this is my car, and I don't buy it with a dime of dirty money!" David swears.

“You are just a student. How did you get so much money?” Sally still refused to believe him.

“The story is long, I can explain it to you another day, Aunt Sally. Let's go and get your treatment first. Login.”

Sally is not forcing anymore. To him, David was like his eldest son. He had the right to enjoy the benefits his son was given now that he had succeeded.

With that, Sally got into the car thanks to the help of David and Yousef.

David had called Wayne and Gavin and told them to rest at the hotel. After all, they had not slept much the night before. David planned to drive Aunt Sally and the others to River City by himself. After Aunt Sally recovers, she'll come back and deal with Uncle Bobby and Quinn.
