Chapter 310

That night, Celia lay exhausted in David's arms, but she did not fall asleep. Instead, he looked at David until he asked, "What's wrong?"

Celia is usually asleep by now.

“You're so good to me, David.” Celia hugged David tightly and muttered.

After learning a few things about David from Selena last night, he now knows that the man is not just the strongest man in Somerland, he said, but he was also strong enough to stand at the top of the world and was destined to protect the entire human race. He doesn't care about David's identity, but knowing that his girlfriend is so successful makes him feel very proud.

Celia knew that she was just an ordinary girl and had no advantages compared to someone like Selena. She was already very happy because David loved her so much, but it was a pity that she could not satisfy him or give birth to his children.

These things pierced deep into his heart like thorns. Celia knows that Selena is telling the truth, and this makes her heart even more hurt for David.

The man she loved so much was willing to endure her own stress and suffering just so she could give her best.

"Stupid girl. I'm the one who's blessed by Heaven for having you." David hugged Celia tightly and said.

The two hugged tightly, and after a few minutes when David thought Celia had fallen asleep, he woke up to go to the bathroom. However, he had just moved a little when Celia looked at him again.

"What's wrong? Why don't you sleep tonight?” ask David.

"David, does it hurt a lot?" celia asked, her cheeks are pink.

"What's sick?" david asked confused.

“I read some books about this, and they said that if men do not finish it, it hurts them while women also cannot get pregnant.” Celia replied awkwardly.

When David heard what Celia said, he immediately understood that Selena must have told Celia something. After all, Celia was too innocent to notice such things or be aware of this matter.

It should take a few more years until after they get married and still have no children for him to take the initiative and find out why. David's expression darkened instantly.

'How dare he. Does he think that just because he's from the King family I'll just let him go?'

For David, the King family was as easily exterminated as they were left alive. But, in retrospect, David realized that he was wrong. The King family had made an undeniable contribution when Somerland was ravaged by chaos some time ago. Every other family superficially let Somerland down, but the King family has proven their unbridled support.

As a member of the Somerland Parliament and captain of the Somerland Disciplinary Team, David was unable to fight with Selena or the King family over such personal issues. Doing so will only cool everyone's heart.

"Stupid girl! What are you talking about? I'm so happy with you, why should I be in pain? Don't think too much, okay? Sleep!” David patted Celia's head and comforted her.

“Don't lie to me, David. I-i know. I didn't understand these things before, but now I understand.”

“Did Selena tell you something? Don't listen to him or spend too much time with him. Who knows he approached you because he really wanted to be your friend or for something more.”

“Nona Selena great. Yeah, he had his reasons, but he didn't hurt anyone in the process. If it wasn't for him, I would never know what you're going through for me. I should thank him instead."

"Stupid girl! You only say that because you don't know what his true intentions are. Let me tell you, then. He's here to steal me from you. Her family needed my help, so they tried to tie me up with them through marriage. That's why he approached you. Do you still think he's good now? Are you still thankful for that?” asked David, chuckling.

Since Celia already knew these things, David decided to tell Celia everything. She was sure once Celia knew Selena's intentions, she would start avoiding Selena. Not even friends can change the fact that Celia loves him.

"Yes I know! But I still think that Miss Selena is a great person. I still want to thank him, and I agreed to share you with him.” Celia replied seriously, her cheeks flushed red.

'What?!' David looked at Celia in shock.

'I must be hallucinating. What did Celia just say? Did he say he agreed to share me with Selena? Is this real? What did Selena tell Celia? How could he make Celia agree to something like this?!’ David quickly shook his head.

“Stop joking about this. No way, I won't! Go to bed!"

“David, I'm not kidding! Miss Selena is a martial artist like you, she's the only one who can satisfy you. If the three of us are together, you will be able to have children of your own.”

Celia's cheeks were red, but her tone was sure. He doesn't seem to be joking. David also turned serious.

"It's not like that! David, I don't want you to suffer every day because of me. I know that you think you respect me, take care of me, and show that you love and protect me, but the more you resist, the more uncomfortable and guilty I feel, and the more heartache I become. Please, David, just take Miss Selena, okay? I also like her a lot, she's the prettiest woman I've ever seen." said Celia excitedly.

David hugged Celia tightly. She felt touched by how understanding Celia was and how she always thought of her best interests. David thought that it was worth being with Celia for the rest of his life, even if she was an ordinary person.

He recalls a time when he and Sarah were dating. David remembers being careful with her every day, fearing she would accidentally do something that sparked his anger.

They celebrated his birthday once, and David remembers spending the money he saved from a three-month part-time job to buy him a new phone. But Sarah left him to be with someone else.

Now that David is with Celia, he finally understands how happy it is to be dating someone who is understanding and

attentively. The two hugged tightly for a few minutes before David finally spoke up.

“Can we not talk about this anymore, Celia? There's something important that I have to deal with lately, and I don't have time to think about it.”

"Is this about disaster?" Celia looked up and asked.

“Selena told you about this too? What does he really want?” asked David angrily.

He did not want the people around him to know about martial artists and calamities because he did not want them to think too much about it. He was fine facing the pressure alone. However, this was where Selena, telling everything to Celia.

This made David very angry. This King family girl caused him more trouble than her worth.

"Yes. He said that you are not only my hero, but also all of humanity and life on Earth. I am so proud of you, David, because you are mine.” Celia said with great admiration.

With that, most of David's anger subsided. He was only a twenty-two year old youth, and he had not even graduated from the university. The fact that the person she loved greatly admired her made her very happy, so she was no longer angry that Celia knew this.

“Celia, since Selena has already told you this, then you should know that I have absolutely no room in my head to think about children. I have more important things to worry about and this calamity is still stuck in our heads like a guillotine. I don't know when it's going down and if I want to protect you, I have to work harder.”

"David, are we going to die once disaster strikes?"

"What did you say? Don'tbeafraid. I'm here, aren't I? I'll protect you. I am very strong now even a group as strong as the Selena family, still needs my help to deal with this disaster. But I'm gonna tell you a secret, okay? I actually hide my true strength from everyone, so no one knows how strong I really am.” David comforting.

"alright. With you here, I'm not afraid at all! Thas right. If the bad gets worse, we'll die together. I should have died a few years ago if it wasn't for you, so I've been very happy to be able to spend the last days of my life with you." Celia replied confidently.

David tapped on Celia's forehead and said, “Don't say such unfortunate things. Nobody's dying, okay? We will live long with many children. Stop thinking about this and go to sleep.”

Celia thought about it and replied, “Alright, then. We'll talk about this later when you're ready. But, don't punish Miss Selena. He's my best friend now, so don't scare him. I don't know where else I could find such a beautiful martial artist to be my friend again.”

David chuckled wryly in response. “Yes, yes, alright. I'm not gonna punish him, okay? Sleep, tomorrow there's morning class.”

“D-David, do you want ..” Celia's cheeks flushed red as she whispered.

This was the first time he had taken the initiative, and he was very shy. His face and neck were hot red and blood red, and David felt a turbulent desire within him when he saw how alluring Celia was. However, she quickly suppressed it, because even if Celia offered, she knew that a fragile ordinary body would not be able to withstand it. David could not agree without thinking about it.

“Sleep, stupid girl! Don't push yourself or you won't be able to get up for class tomorrow and everyone will laugh at you. We can do more over the weekend.”

“OK.” replied Celia with a frown.

The two fell asleep quickly in each other's arms, unlike Selena who could not fall asleep in the guest room. He knew that with David's intelligence, the man must have known that he was the culprit. He was afraid of David's anger.

The next day, David makes breakfast for the two girls and then wakes them up to go to school.

She does not wake Selena personally because she is a girl, but rather wakes Celia up and tells Celia to wake Selena instead. Back when he was with Sarah, David would bring breakfast to Sarah's classroom every morning.

Sometimes she still ran out to buy dinner in the middle of the night and send it to her dorm lobby. From time to time Sarah would still bother him and look down on him.

After breaking up with Sarah, David slowly understands that no matter how much we give, women who have no feelings for us will never be touched and just take us for granted, as much as any sacrifice we make.
