“David, I'm here. Are you out of class?” Celia's clear voice came from the phone.

This was the first time David had heard Celia's voice after so many years, and she still sounded the same as before. They would only text each other once in a while in the past few years.

“Yes, i..I'll be out soon.”

david said as he walked out of class.

As soon as she walked out of the classroom, she saw a beautiful figure holding the phone while standing not far away.

“So what if he's handsome or cool? He's still from another school! She's the prettiest girl in our university, we can't let a guy from another college take her for granted! What does that say about people about our campus?"

“Yes! It's big news, I have to tell Hanley about this right away! She was already staring at Celia, and she would not let the man leave just like that once she knew about this.”

David touched his face. The system did bring about great changes for him, not only in the physical sense, but also mentally. She used to be low self-esteem and refused to socialize, but now she is filled with confidence.

“Celia, I feel you changed too.” said David.

“Hah? Change how?” Celia looked at herself and asked.

“You are much prettier now!” david answered with a smile.

“You're also a good talker, David! You at that time would never say such a thing.”

“Hhh, I think we all changed.”

The two looked at the lake far across and sat quietly for a long time.

“David?”

“Hmm?”

“Thank you.”

“For what?”

“Thank you for showing up in my darkest hour and saving me from my death. You risked your life to save me, like an angel."
