THE HEAVEN THAT IS TAKEN AWAY

THE HEAVEN THAT IS TAKEN AWAY
Part 119: I Must Be Firm

"let's go ma." Mas Roland took my mother to the office, Roland said when we finished breakfast. I turned to the beautiful circular clock in my hand, it turned out to be eight in the morning.

We were a little late going to the office today, because there wasn't so much work we were going to do. Mama said she will wait for Ringgo to finish the financial statements, then we can plan the next step.

Meanwhile, Roland only has a meeting schedule at ten o'clock. We weren't too busy today, so it could be a bit relaxing coming to the office.

"what's it like working in an office? Do you like and have studied well?" roland asked, I turned to him.

I'm glad you're not too hard to learn."

"thank God, I'm glad to hear that."

"oh yes mas, did you already know that there was an error in the report made by Mr. Ringgo?"

"mas has known it since two months ago dik, you do not have to worry because everything is in control." I was surprised to hear Roland's words, but he seemed relaxed about it.

"why didn't you take action against Mrs Ringgo? Didn't he commit a crime by embezzling the company's money." I said in surprise.

"initially, I intended to fire and police him but it did not, because I knew Ringgo was cheating when he was married. Mas got a report from another staff at first, mas do not believe but after investigating it turns out the report is true."

"oh so, but did you know he was embezzling company money along with other people?"

"mas Know, it turns out that the person who reported Ringgo was the person he was invited to cooperate stealing company money." I gaped listening to Ringgo's explanation.

I was silent for a moment trying to understand the explanation that Mr. Ringgo gave me. I also wonder why that person reported the Ringgo mas to the company.

"you're surprised, aren't you? So, that guy seems to be trying to get rid of Ringgo. He did that with the intention of throwing a mistake on Ringgo if the company knew of the fraud they were doing."

"it turns out, the bianist world is cruel, mas. people will justify all kinds of ways."

"yeah, that's why you have to be careful because anything can happen. People will do anything to achieve their goals. One more thing, you don't trust other people too much because in the business world honesty is the rarest thing."

"i understand mas." I put my head down, feeling that Roland's word was indeed true. The proof is that Ringgo would betray me after the sacrifice I made for him.

"so, what's Roland's next move on Ringgo's mas?"

"you'll see, it's all in the calculation." Mas Roland said as he put on a meaningful smile, I don't know what he's planning right now.

"what if I go to college? I want to learn more about business." I switched the conversation.

"are you serious, brother? You want to go to college, are you going to study really? Roland said, maybe he doesn't believe what I just said.

"seriously mas, I want to be like mama and mama. They are tough and great women, the business world alone recognizes their abilities. Hence, I wanted to go to college to be like them." I said at length, expressing my wish to Roland.

Mas Roland looked to nod small, he seemed to be thinking of something. I kept looking at him, waiting for an answer.

"all right, I'll enroll you in college tomorrow."

"yes, I want the lecture to be late afternoon or evening mas."

"alright, brother."

"ma, what are we going to do today?"

"mama will tell you about the ins and outs of our company. You have to know how to run the business we own."

"well ma." I'm recruiting what mom said, it's time I jump in and find out about the business.

I'm determined to be a recognized businesswoman, it's time for me to show my skills. I'm pretty sure I can, because I'm surrounded by all the greats. The blood of entrepreneurs runs through my body.

I will not waste any more time, I will pursue all my dreams and ideals. I am still young and there is no reason for me to surrender to destiny, because that destiny can change if we are diligent in prayer and do not stop trying.

"it looks like Ringgo is not here yet. I don't see any sign of her coming here."

" let Rianti, mama have given him a time limit. So, he's gonna have to finish that financial report next week, no matter what."

"Yes, fine then. Now what should I do ma."

"now, Rianti's coming with mama yuk."

"where's ma?"

"mama will take Rianti, our office and company kelliling so you know how and what our company is like."

"alright ma." Mama and I went out of the room but before we could get out we ran into Ringo at the door, his breathing was a little short.

"sorry ma'am, I'm a little late." mas Ringgo stood up and slightly bent his body when talking to mama.

"it's okay, Mr. Ringgo, we just arrived. I will not be in the room today because I will invite Rianti to tour the company. I hope you work with discipline and right even though I'm not here to supervise."

"alright mom, I'll work my best. I promise I won't let you down again."

"i hope you keep the words you say. Then we'll go first." Mama said, apparently he did not scold mas Ringgo.

I looked at the Ringgo, without greeting him. I noticed his appearance, now much messier than yesterday. His face was no less tangled, I could only quietly look at him.

At a glance, I saw that Ringgo was also looking at me. I saw his eyes red while around his eyes saw blackened eye bags a sign he was sleep deprived.

I quickly looked away, not wanting to see him for too long. Mas Ringgo is not my husband anymore, for what I feel sorry for him.

"Rianti, let's go now." mama took me away, she probably understood the awkwardness I was feeling right now.

"yes ma." I followed my mother, she had already stepped out of the room.

I passed the Ringgo mas who was still silent while looking at my departure with my mother. She seemed like she wanted to say something but I couldn't give her a chance to talk. I have to be strict with him and myself.

Mama took me around the company and explained everything in as much detail as possible. I looked carefully at the explanation he gave.

I now know it turned out, papa and mama who founded the partnership. Mama is a really great woman, she makes me proud as her son.
