Gazea County, Grand Duke Valazad Castle, Gaiden Zaigwel Laighelton.
Gaiden managed to subdue several smugglers on a ship and not only that, these perpetrators even brought some female slaves from Gazea to be brought to the other country.
From morning to evening taking care of this matter, Gaiden was finally able to return to rest in his castle. Gaiden Castle is on a higher plateau that is able to monitor the city thoroughly, so not a little time is needed if you want to leave the castle to the city.
"Grand Duke, it's me." Simon knocked on the door.
Gaiden left the bed, tightened his pajama on his hip, and sat in a begere chair after allowing Simon to enter the room.
"It looks like the woman this morning came from outside Gazea. I asked the receptionist about her ."
"What?" Gaiden was so interested, how not, thanks to his brave attitude and the help of the woman that Gaiden was able to finish his work faster.
"His name is Lail Manuella. He booked a room at the Satnight condotel for a week with another girl named Naika."
Gaiden seemed dissatisfied with the information Simon provided. "What about the background?"
Simon smiled awkwardly. "Sorry, Grand Duke."
Gaiden snorted then returned to bed. "It's okay. Now come back for a break."
Simon lowered his head and immediately left Gaiden's room. While Gaiden sleeps on his back while observing the ceiling of the room and smiles. "Yes, I don't think it's so bad to find out more about him."
Elsewhere, Condotel Satnight.
Lail curled up on top of the bed with a careless look, Naika was anxious as Lail kept silent. Did something bad happen? Naika then approached on the side of Lail's bed.
"What's up, Miss?"
Lail looked at Naika sadly then exhaled a heavy breath. "Huh, may our holiday go well, yes, Naika."
Lail then lay down on her back to Naika while pulling the blanket to the neck. Lail had been thinking about his reckless act of scolding and offending government forces.
"Yes, yes, after all I won't meet that rude man again," Lail's inner voice then closed her eyes.
...***...
The next day, Lail decides to have breakfast with Naika at one of the famous restaurants in Gazea. There are two dining areas there, inside and the restaurant veranda area which means dining outside without a roof.
Lail chose a menu in the form of potatoes and some foods contain lots of vegetables and enjoy it on the homepage. From his position, Lail could observe the increasingly crowded paving road. Currently, Lail is in the center of the food business.
After finishing the meal, Lail decided to go from there and take a walk around the pier. As soon as he got there, the wind blew harder, so Lail had to hold a light brown cartwheel hat on her head, but the hat had to come off because someone hit her.
"Ah, Miss, the hat!" naika exclaimed as the hats were carried away by the wind, drifting behind them.
Lail looked back and his hat was in the arms of a man who felt familiar to Lail. That man is Gaiden.
"It."
Gaiden approached while giving Lail a hat.
"Thank you, sir."
Gaiden was silent for a moment then chuckled as Lail did not remember her while Lail and Naika looked confused.
"What's wrong?" ask Lail to Gaiden.
"It's nice to see you again." Gaiden reached out to Lail.
"About? Have we met before?"
"Indigo cake in the old shop," said Gaiden.
"Please! Don't you know who's in front of—"
Simon suddenly appears behind Gaiden and gets rid of Lail's index finger however, his words must be cut because Gaiden gave the plotting while Naika directs the emotion over Simon's actions on Lail.
"You can break my non finger, you know!" Naika exclaimed, shaking her waist in front of Simon fiercely. Instead of retaliating, Simon suddenly felt the wind blowing strong with flowers scattered around him when he saw Naika scolding him.
"Aah!" Simon touched his chest and then inched backwards.
"What's wrong with her? Did you do something, Naika?" Lail raised next to the eyebrows to see Simon's reaction.
"I didn't do anything to her, Miss!" Naika is approaching Lail.
Gaiden chuckled and then embraced Simon. "My friend is so sentimental. Your words might hurt her heart," Gaiden joked as he glanced at Naika.
Naika looked guilty while Lail was dumbfounded, how could that be? But it seems Naika believes so she tries to apologize and invites Simon to talk while Gaiden approaches Lail.
"You want to go for another walk? If you'd like, I can be your guide" Gaiden offered.
Lail diverted attention from Naika to Gaiden. "Withyou?" Lail asked skeptically.
Gaiden nodded then showed the sword slung on his hip. "I'm a government man, no need to worry."
"What about my friend?" Lail glanced at Naika.
"We can go together." Gaiden glanced at Simon then exclaimed, "Simon!"
Simon stooped up and looked at Gaiden. "Yes, Gran—"
"Call me Gaiden!" hiss Gaiden with silent mouth movements however, full of emphasis on every mention of the word.
"We'll be the guides of these two ladies, hurry up," Gaiden continued, making Simon nod his head in reverence.
"Yes!"
Now these four guys are down the pier. Along the way, Gaiden attempts to scrape through Lail's background, but he ignores that intention when Lail enthusiastically sees several large ships moored at the harbor.
The city of Gazea is surrounded by the beautiful Caebra Sea, its surface, like a jewel scattered when exposed to a twinkle, also tells Lail that the port at Gazea is the main trading center of the sea in Valazad.
Lail was stunned to hear all the explanations from Gaiden as well as Naika while Simon was so proud of his master. After feeling enough to enjoy the harbor, Gaiden then invited Lail to return to the city, down the long road that stretches to the city square.
On the right and left side of the road there are stone houses, not only that even there are a variety of shops.
"Well, now we can rest here." Gaiden stopped at the town square, where many children, adults and the elderly were, to enjoy the day before evening, now it was late afternoon.
"Sir, please come and paint us" Gaiden asked a street artist.
Lail was surprised that suddenly Gaiden clasped his hands and sat on a white long chair in the town square while the artist began to take up positions to paint both.
Lail shows a look of no accept. "You didn't ask for my approval?" his protest.
Gaiden shrugged his shoulders while saying a little shitty. "Ah, sorry, I forgot. So ..." Gaiden looked at Lail with a smile. "Did I get an agreement?"
Lail snorted then glanced at the artist's hand movements on the painting equipment. "Based on a male fox" Lail's successful lips made Gaiden laugh short.
While it was not far from the two, Naika felt forgotten while Simon continued to stand while looking at Nakka with a radiant face.
"What if we're the next one to be painted?" simon proposes while grinning.
"No!" Naika then melengos, away from Simon who followed him again.
"May we never see them again!" please Lail and Naika.
