...HAPPY READING...
Eight months later.
"Should I tell you how many times, Lail?"
Lail who was focused on taking care of some documents belonging to the queen turned her eyes on the doorway. Zavir stood up while furrowing an eyebrow before approaching.
"I'm sorry, but I can't stay quiet for too long other than that, Arthur is asleep" Lail replied as she threw a glance at the baby swing not far from her. The blonde haired baby boy on the swing was so calm when asleep.
Arthur Zanderic, the boy Lail gave birth to two months ago, has fallen asleep on a wooden swing. Arthur has bright amber eyes, blonde hair and clean skin like Lail.
"When I've given you a long day off, Lail." Asye suddenly appears in the company of Hendry and Rakaz.
Lail laughed awkwardly. "sorry. But I've been feeling really good."
"Yes, okay. So ... what does our handsome nephew do?" Asye immediately approached the swing while touching the stomach.
"Well, he's asleep." Asye glanced at Hendry who had been standing by his side, smilingly looking at Arthur.
Asye's stomach is quite large, the age of the womb is 5 months. Since Arthu was born, the two princes, queens and kings of Asylam always came to him, not to say hello but to mince words before approaching the swing and admire his son even Asye often spent time in the pavilion to hold Arthur and take him for a walk in the park. Now that the palace dwellers knew of Lail's whereabouts, they thought that Lail was Hendry's sister from the concubine the King had hidden, so there were no bad rumors and evil treatment that Lail received while in Asylam.
"Ah, I'm giving you this." Rakaz handed me a letter stamped with the coat of arms of the Kyle family.
Lail's smile rose, Zavir did not let go of Lail as the three people at the side were already busy surrounding Arthur.
That's Kyle and Jay's wedding invitation to be held in a week. Lail was happy that the couple had finally entered the marriage.
"That means I have to go back to Hendrixin, right?" mummy Lail.
Zavir, who heard the murmur, approached, standing in front of Lail's desk. Zavir's mind has been dodging fears lately. As for whether Lail still had any hope of returning to Gaiden after giving birth to Arthur or going back to Hendrixine because of their promise of responsibility until Lail gave birth, Lail was free.
"W-What's up, Zavir?" Lail looked up, looking at the old-fashioned man before her.
Now everyone is turning their attention to Zavir.
Zavir lowered his head and glanced at the letter for a moment, suggesting it was a letter from Gaiden, making Zavir suddenly grim. "It's okay. I'm sorry, I think I should go back to Orcal."
"So fast?" Hendry raised his eyebrows.
Orcal was a land controlled by Zavir so in addition to helping with some of the kingdom's military affairs, Zavir was actually a duke who controlled most of the territory in Asylam, Rakaz was the same, he's a duke but in a region called Arera.
Lail doesn't understand so act as usual, letting Zavir go however, Hendry and Rakaz understand when they see the letter in Lail's hand. Over the past few months, Lail has been writing to someone from Hendrixine, and looks happy whenever she receives a reply.
Both Hendry and Rakaz were curious about who sent the letter, but had no intention of asking because it was Lail's privacy. Only, Lail had never been sensitive to Zavir's attitude all along.
"You still have a lot of work. Come back, I'll be here looking at Arthur." Asye landed a light kiss on Hendry's thin lips, breaking the silence.
"Tsk!" Rakaz clucked bitterly saw the romance of the two men then paid a farewell to Lail.
Hendry smiled and replied to Asye's treatment with the same thing and then immediately left.
"Is that from a friend you used to tell me about?" ask Asye.
Lail looked at Asye and nodded his head. "Yes. He's getting married next week."
"You're coming?"
Lail was silent for a moment and nodded her head. "of course. If I don't come, he'll strangle me."
Asye laughed as well as Lail, however, Lail was currently thinking of something. "But ... " Lail glanced at her son.
"What about Arthur? I can't take her far, she's not even two months old, I'm afraid something's happened to her."
Asye patted the chest proudly. "Just calm. I'm, right, his aunt. I'm so happy to be able to spend time looking after Arthur because Hendry always prevents me from doing the hard stuff as a result I'm just keeping quiet all day without doing anything."
...***...
The next day, Lail walks in the park holding Arthur, who doesn't stop crying.
"What's wrong?"
Lail turned around and found Zavir, who was wearing a white top, being joined by a black subordinate, who was tightly glazed with a sword draped around his waist.
"I don't know, Arthur keeps crying." Lail looks worried.
Zavir already felt better after returning to calm his feelings and clear his mind, so he behaved as usual. Extending both hands, Zavir asks Lail for permission to bring Arthur into his arms.
Lail nods his head and gives Arthur to Zavir and shortly Arthur's cry changes with a small laugh as the string of clothes that exposes a bit of the chest of Zavir's field dangles over his face.
"Eh, he was silent." Lail was a bit surprised.
"It looks like Arthur is very nagging—"
Lail stopped the words when Zavir smiled so sweetly as he ducked to swipe his nose at Arthur so that Arthur's laughter could be heard.
"Ah, did you say something earlier?" Zavir who heard Lail's words cut off earlier immediately raised his head.
Lail directly patted the cheek quite slowly making Zavir a bit confused.
"What's wrong with her?"
"Itu ... " Lail agak ragu.
"What's wrong?"
"I was invited to my best friend's wedding in Hendrixine. Can I ask for your help?" ask Lail.
"What help?"
"Can you be my partner to come there?"
Zavir's eyes widened, his chest rumbling.
"Yes my. Sorry, I forgot your identity. I'm sorry, I'm missing bat—"
"I can. When are you going there?" cut Zavir very quickly.
"Eh?"
"He was so agreeable and so excited?"
"I'll accompany you. You've asked me so don't pull it again" Zavir continued.
Zavir smiles, by becoming Lail's partner at the party later then he can keep Lail from Gaiden.
"I'll be there this weekend." Lail spoke with a somewhat confused look while Zavir immediately moved away while holding Arthur, taking a walk in the park while humming ria.
"Hm ... Uncle could go one step further to get close to your mama, Arthur. But, do you think uncle is suitable to be your father?" Zavir chattered as he looked at Arthur, ignoring Lail who was blown away behind him.
Arthur certainly did not understand, but Arthur continued to laugh while raising his hand to reach Zavir's face.
Zavir widens his smile. "Well, after all uncle won't let anyone near your mama before uncle is ready to say this feeling. Then, if later rejected then uncle will be an admirer." Zavir then chuckled.
"What's wrong with her?" Lail frowned anxiously looking at Zavir who was chuckling as he invited his son over to chat.
