Gaiden is upset to find Lail's house empty. Unwilling to return without getting anything, Gaiden asked some neighbors.
"Excuse me. Is the owner out?" Gaiden asked the middle-aged woman whose house was next to Lail's.
The woman followed Gaiden's index. "Ah, the lady is no longer living here, she said she will stay in Asla because she was accepted to work as a mail carrier at the LoS Post Office."
"Aslas?" Gaiden mutters.
"Yes, it's the urban surrounding the Palace."
Gaiden understood then thanked the woman and returned.
After getting what she wanted, Gaiden returned to the Palace carrying a red box the size of a fist and handed it to Nilyar, the silver-haired woman had not slept when the clock was set at 11pm, awaited him.
"I bought it for you, I went to buy this as an apology back then."
Nilyar met, slowly opened the small box and a violet necklace managed to sing the smile Nilyar then a hug was given to Gaiden.
"Thank you, Grand Duke!"
Gaiden returned Nilyar's embrace and said, "Darlingly, I wanted to see Asylam longer, considering it was my first time in your birthplace."
Nilyar took off a hug and smiled faintly. "We can stay a few more days here, Grand Duke."
"really?"
Nilyar's nodding of head made Gaiden smile thinly as if he had managed to do something.
"Then we can be here for three more days, is that okay?" Gaiden.
Nilyar felt Gaiden was very warm tonight, not wanting to miss the moment, Nilyar then sat on the bed while patting the empty side to fill Gaiden.
"Then ... Would you, Grand Duke, sleep with me? I'll ask Hendry for permission so we can stay a few more days here."
Gaiden's lips thinned and then followed what Nilyar pinta. "certain."
...***...
The morning dawned, the sun did not play with the clouds so the binaries were scattered so scorching, and Lail had played with Pulu in the garden.
In the midst of the act, Lail is surprised by Asye's figure, coming with a servant behind. Lail immediately bowed, saluting Asye though very surprised that Asye suddenly came and was about to talk to him.
Now, in the lounge while enjoying tea, Asye continued to smile at Lail, amazed by Lail's fluency in Asylam.
"I came because our residence is close together." Asye opened her voice after taking a slow sip of tea.
Lail nodded his head. Facing directly with the woman who had just become the queen made it a bit clumsy.
"What's your name? I'm Asye Raff, you can call me Asye if we're in such an unofficial state."
Lail blinked, Asye is very friendly. From that conversation Lail knew that Asye wanted to get closer to him however, not knowing what his true purpose was. Learning from all the previous problems, Lail became so suspicious.
"I'm Lail Manuella, you can call me Lail."
Asye smiled again and pulled the chair closer after seeing Lail's rather large belly behind the canary dress worn.
"Your Majesty has told me all about you."
Hearing Asye's words, Lail's face was suddenly unhappy, though trying to hide, Asye was able to see it.
"sorry. I urge Your Majesty to tell me because I think you are his mistress." Asye lowered her head as she continued, "I'm worried about that because I don't want to share the same feelings with other women with my husband."
Realizing what Asye was worried about, Lail softened her facial features. "Just calm down, Your Honor, I'm not going to—"
"Asye," cut Asye.
Lail nodded his head. "I have absolutely no interest in His Majesty the King, Asye. I'm only here for a while, just until I give birth to my son."
"Then what are you gonna do next?"
Asye's successful question left Lail speechless for quite a while. Right, what will she do after giving birth? Go back to Hendrixine and go on business or stay here with his son? Lail only realized that he had no purpose after that.
"Think, Lail. I will help you because now I am your friend ... Em, if you accept me."
"Thank you, Asye. I can't resist, it's good luck to me."
"... But how old are you?" ask Asye.
"22 years."
"You sure?"
Asye nodded quickly. Lail opened his mouth to call Asye Big Brother, but suddenly Zavir appeared there.
"What are you doing here? Didn't my brother tell you that Lail wasn't his mistress?"
Zavir's eyebrows are linked together with a hardened jaw sign of restraining emotions.
"What's wrong with you, Prince? I just say hello to Lail. Right, Lail?"
Lail nodded his head. "Yes." Yeah."
Zavir's face suddenly red, the pale-skinned man then turned his face in unison facing the back, about to go and scold Rakaz. He came because Rakaz said Asye was going to hit Lail.
After Zavir leaves, Asye's smile expands seeing Lail bewildered by Zavir's attitude.
"Looks like Zavir really cares about you, yeah."
Lail was stunned then rubbed the lips of the cup using her thumb. Asye's words were right, Zavir was always by her side, taking her in search of calm and always alert if she was having trouble while pregnant. Lail remained silent for quite a while until a strange opinion in her mind appeared 'Zavir seems to be acting like a husband who is always there for his pregnant wife'
Lail immediately shook her head strongly while exhaling. "Yes, Zavir is very concerned about me because he feels responsible for the problems his sister has done to me."
Feeling that Lail had hurt her feelings, the queen-status woman immediately felt bad for Lail but, in a flash, Lail's warm smile was thrown at her.
"I'm doing fine. Actually ... "
"Actually?" Asye as if urgent.
"Without staying here doing nothing, I want to do something more useful." Laill was somewhat skeptical, her eyes moving uneasily.
"Say, Lail. I might be able to help you."
Lail felt bad let alone this thought that had just appeared, especially Asye being a friend on the first day of the meeting.
"L-forget. I don't think it's time yet to get—"
Lail's words came to a halt when Asye's brows were linked. "Blogs ... Say."
"Gruesome!" Lail shuddered.
Lail took a breath and exhaled slowly then said, "I want to register as the royal secretary of Asylam, I have excellent abilities. I think because you're just serving as queen, there are a lot of important positions that need to be filled. Maybe .. I can help." Lail slowed down the tone in the last sentence.
Asye's smile expands. "Then you're accepted."
"S-so fast?"
Asye nodded her head. "Then I go back, Lail. Come see me tomorrow."
Lail stood up as Asye returned. "Thank you, A-Asye!"
Asye smiled and immediately left and at the same time, in Asla precisely in the waiting room of LoS Post Office, Gaiden was seen sitting opposite to Baman.
Gaiden asked about Lail. Baman thought for a long time, initially reluctant to tell but, hearing Gaiden's story and seeing the look of Gaiden's frustrated face, Baman then told.
"That lady only worked a week here. He came to resign in good company with a knight who may be from the palace" explained Baman.
"Stana?" Gaiden frowned.
"Yes. Looks like he got accepted to work at the Palace."
Gaiden's memory of the woman Zavir held in his arms immediately flashed, his mind already a bit chaotic.
"You sure?"
"Very sure. After all it was not strange, perhaps the palace people were immediately interested in hiring Miss Lail after seeing her send a letter to the Palace."
Gaiden stood up, lowered his head while saying thank you and left.
Baman was silent, observing Gaiden's wide back further away. "It looks like I'm making trouble for the lady" muttered Baman.
