...HAPPY READING...
Two months have passed.
Henry exhaled a weary breath after making the great decision to accept an earl's daughter as a future wife.
Asye Raff, 25 years old and quite famous among the nobility, in addition to being smart in many fields, Asye is also beautiful and difficult to approach men, therefore, Asye, Asye had not been married when her maturity was too late for many people. Hendry had thought, if indeed the woman was waiting for the opportunity to become a candidate for queen.
Today they will meet at the palace, but after meeting it seems like Hendry knows why some people suggest he marry Asye.
Asye has a fair yellow skin, a symmetrical face that is firm with an elegant self-respect is enough to cradle Hendry's heart and eyes. A different feeling when looking at Lail, even if juxtaposed Lail will win, but the feeling of Hendry when seeing Asye is much different.
"No engagement is needed, we just need to get married as soon as possible." Hendry said unilaterally making Asye's face change, dumbfounded.
"Isn't that too hasty, Your Majesty?" Asye asked.
"The queen's emptiness has been going on long enough, I don't want to extend it."
Asye looked agitated. To be honest, he did not expect this much, but as the parents continued to insist on accepting Hendry's choice towards him, inevitably Asye had to come forward.
"When are you going to get married?" Asye looked agitated.
"I'll tell you as soon as possible."
Asye exhaled. Hendry is a man who is too stiff, throughout the meeting so awkward let alone always bring up marriage, no light conversation that melts the atmosphere. Asye craved for love, so doubts arose after finding Hendry's cold demeanor that only attached importance to the queen's positivist emptiness.
The meeting is over. Asye is about to return to her home but, while cruising the palace for a bit, Asye's blue eyes are mesmerized at a blonde haired woman who is wandering around the garden of a pavilion, one of the pavilions not far from the queen's residence.
"Who is he? Is it not the mistress of His Majesty? She ... Very pretty." Asye.
Asye was suddenly grim, while looking at both palms, Asye exhaled a sad breath. "Your Majesty will definitely have many concubines, just like the previous king. Will I experience the same?Am I able to survive on the side of a man like His Majesty?"
After that Asye left, throwing his face in any direction and at that time, the blonde woman in question, Lail, caught the figure of Asye.
The black haired woman who had just passed by made Lail wonder however, the curiosity disappeared when Pulu appeared while biting the twig in the mouth, sitting half-standing in front of Lail.
"Smart!" Lail praised Pulu who so quickly grabbed the wood he threw.
Since going to the beach, Lail tried to get along with Zavir and it happened after two months had passed. Zavir visited him more often than Rakaz.
Rakaz spent a lot of time playing with several women on the sidelines as a prince while Zavir of course focused on training the troops.
"Fur!"
Feather turned around as Zavir exclaimed in the back, Lail's face suddenly grim. Though Lail spent a lot of time playing with Pulu, but still it is difficult to win the heart of Pulu to be balanced with Zavir, it is very reasonable considering Zavir took care of Pulu since childhood.
"Did Pulu bother you?" ask Zavir.
Lail's head bobble. "No."
"You look tired. Can I help you get inside?"
"no need. Ah, yes, I saw a woman passing by earlier, definitely not a palace worker. You knew?"
"His own?"
"He's a little taller than me. Her hair is black and ... Em, I don't know anymore."
"What the fuck is that." Zavir chuckles at how Lail tries to remember then a Zavir orange thrust on Lail, large enough with a thick orange color.
"Gee!"
Lail's emerald eyes sparkled and Zavir was stunned. Maybe this has happened early in the month, the man with beautiful hazel feels comfortable paying attention to Lail, even feels strange if he does not see Lail for a long time, it was felt when Zavir had to stand guard at the border a few days ago.
"You riding? I want to take you somewhere as the day approaches the afternoon" Zavir asked.
"I've called my partner to look after him."
"All right."
It was in Valazad, the castle of Grand Duke Valazad.
One cup and kettle were rolled in poor condition on the tile surface, tension squeezed between the waiter as well as the guard.
"I said do it well! I told you I don't like the weird smell in my drink!" raung Nilyar to the servants who served him.
"Sorry, Grand Duchess. But we've done what you asked."
"How dare you argue with me!"
Sebas came and tried to calm down but, once again, an object floated, scattered and almost hurt everyone's feet.
"Grand Duchess, please calm down!" Sebas.
Sebas has been holding on to patience for the past two months. Nilyar showed a genuine disposition to everyone when Gaiden was not around, making all matters unsubstantiated.
"How dare you yell at me!"
"Sorry, Grand Duchess. If you'd like to hear me speak well, maybe I wouldn't yell."
Nilyar clucked and flipped the table until everything on it fell. Sebas endured the patience while everyone turned their faces away, comparing Nilyar to Lail who was always calm, emotionless overflowing.
This all happened because Gaiden kept ignoring her, rarely at home and visiting just to check her gynecological condition.
"If you don't work well for me, I'll fire you all!" Nilyar snapped with a threat.
"You don't have the right to fire my men. I didn't know that you behaved like this when I wasn't around."
Nilyar's pair of eyes glared at Gaiden appearing, splitting the crowd in front of the door, gazing in annoyance at the chaos that had occurred in the tea room that had previously looked so bright as to be Lail's private lounge.
"This is why I've been reluctant to give you the room Lail used. You ruined everything, including our lives," Gaiden then passed from there, leaving Nilyar crying.
"Bring the Grand Duchess to her room" Sebas orders Nilyar's personal servant.
...***...
Today wasn't bright enough, after seeing Nilyar's behavior yesterday, Gaiden felt the days he spent were stifling, so this morning he went to the palace just to visit Carl.
Gaiden arrived during the day, met Carl for a short chat and went for a walk around the palace but his attention fell on Rosea and Kyle who were sitting together on the garden gazebo.
"Lail sent me a letter last week, saying she was quite sorry for not being able to show up at my engagement to Jay."
"Then, how's your reply?" Rosea asked.
"I said it's okay, but if we don't attend our wedding, then I'll come to Ashlam and strangle him."
Hearing Kyle's reply, Rosea's laughter broke but, when Gaiden's large shadow blocked the sunlight as they told him in the gazebo, the laughter became unnatural, Rosea and Kyle suddenly kept quiet and were calm.
"What's up, Gaiden?" ask Rosea.
"Tell me where it's more clear Lail is right now." Gaiden said coldly, the look in his eyes was really intimidating making the guts of the two noble ladies shrivel.
"Whatchu mean? We don't even know where Lail went, why ask kam—"
"Assylamic. I just heard you, Kyle." Gaiden glared sharply after cutting off Kyle's words.
