Secrets of the Former (Love Left Behind)

Secrets of the Former (Love Left Behind)
Twenty Nine

Maybe it's time for us to end. If not now, I'm afraid there's no other chance.

Farez looked at all of those events from afar. Before, he had never seen the woman he secretly loved acting cold. His gaze radiates pain. Perhaps true, the wound is too deep, until the story that shocked him a few hours ago was deliberately covered by the woman.

"Dihyan."

His feet took a step forward when Gantari passed by him and it made Gantari stop the gaping. He looked at old Farez, the look was still dark. It's not that easy to change the mood, man.

"Thank you" said Gantari in a heavy voice.

A flash of anger, slowly starting to change. Gantari's coffee black eyeballs seemed to attract Farez to enjoy his injuries. Farez flinched, then pulled the woman slowly in his arms.

Gantari just shut up. He did not refuse, nor did he reply. "Thank you for treating my mother so well" she continued.

Farez felt his shoulder shirt warm. Gantari is crying. He knew that, then the more embrace he moaned, then exhaled a deep breath. Then said in a calm tone, "Mom realized after being in a coma for five years is a magical thing. Mom did it for you. Demi can see you again for a while. I've been fighting so hard, Dihyan."

Gantari's shoulder trembled, before long a soft sniff from her lips was heard. The longer the sobbing sounds louder, so that those who hear it can feel the pain. Her tears washed her face. He wants to crush it up to a hiccup. He wanted to bring out all his pain there. He really wanted to let go of his mother.

Not far from there, there was Nevan standing by. Hearing Gantari's words, hearing Gantari's cries, made her heart ache. Moreover, he could do nothing. More precisely, he felt inappropriate.

All this time he was too busy pitying himself, not knowing what Gantari had gone through.

The Ardiwinata residence house looked like normal. There were no signs of suffering there because no bodies had stopped by. The mother's body was bathed, forgiven, and crucified at the mosque near the hospital and Gantari did not involve the Ardiwinata family in the slightest.

Gantari entered the room without a sound, then packed a little clothes and some personal items. On the door leaf was Bi Sumi who could not help but cry while standing staring at Gantari's back from behind. He also did not know what to do, even though his pity was so noticeable in his eyes.

After all neat, Gantari got up with a travel bag when turning around he had found Bi Sumi's face wet. Gantari walked over and hugged her tightly. "Thank you for everything, Bi," he said sincerely.

Bi Sumi did not answer. He just nodded his head, because his voice felt stuck in the esophagus. Before long, Gantari loosened her embrace after gently patting Bi Sumi's shoulder a few times. Then, review the smile despite bitter.

He took a deep breath, then resumed his steps out of the room.

"You think you can leave after the trouble you caused?" shanessa shouted with eyes glistening furiously. His breath seemed to hunt.

Gantari closed her eyes for a moment, tried to restrain herself, then continued to close the door of the room.

"You're taking advantage of your past, aren't you, Gantari?" attack Shanessa. "Grandfather, father, now Nevan. You took everything from me!" salad again.

Inevitably Gantari returned Shanessa's gaze. "Your problems have nothing to do with me" replied Gantari flatly.

They looked at Shanessa who looked completely chaotic. The face was puffy with messy hair, plus the rough shouting sound they had just heard, completely unlike Shanessa normally.

The father approached and asked Shanessa to calm down. He asked what was really going on, but got no answer. He then threw a glance at Gantari who seemed reluctant to meet him.

"How could this have nothing to do with you?" Shanessa crying. His body sagged until Ardiman was overwhelmed with it.

"You ruined my life, Gantari," roared Shanessa later.

"What's really going on?" ask Ardiman to panic. He never saw his daughter like this.

No one answered. Shanessa just covered her face with both palms with a cry that had not yet subsided. Until, Nevan came forward and said something that managed to make the faces of those who heard him pias.

"Gantari is my ex-wife."

Nevan's statement just now, made Shanessa's roar so. He felt fooled by those he trusted so much.

Ardiman gulped his saliva heavily. It felt bitter, so he could not immediately respond. The reality he had just heard took a longer process to digest.

"Don't joke." Only the reply of the quality did not manage to escape the lips of Ardiman.

"Ask my grandfather" Gantari said, leading everyone to look at him. "Didn't she want me to be a widow rather than a building-steal husband?"

Actually Gantari remembered with the message of the mother, he also remembered the story of Mr. Sarif, but his heartache on Darya was not as easy as it faded. It hurts to be forcibly separated from her husband who she loves so much in exchange for the mother's medical expenses. Pain that until now still leaves pain just by remembering it.

No one asked Darya Ardiwinata for an explanation. All were still stunned and struggling with their own thoughts.

Ardiman even shook his head in disbelief. He knew that if Darya Ardiwinata made Gantari's mother's condition an ace to hold Gantari to remain in this house, but he did not expect the father to do more.

Gantari ever married?

His knees were limp as his mind raised the question. So this is the reason why his dearest nephew has always been so cold to Darya Ardiwinata or maybe there is another reason?

Suddenly Ardiman felt like a fool. He always spread a warm smile on Gantari without knowing if the niece's heart had been frozen in the house for a long time.

Darya's face hardened. He knew people were looking at him for an explanation. However, his gaze was only on the pitiful-looking Shanessa on the floor.

Gantari regulated her breathing, trying to reduce the rumbling in the chest. This mess was not expected either. Shanessa is completely innocent and from the bottom of her heart, she sincerely loves her cousin.

"My past means absolutely nothing now" Gantari said later.

He continued his steps and never looked again. He really wants to get out of there as soon as possible. Leaving those trapped with their own wounds.
