Secrets of the Former (Love Left Behind)

Secrets of the Former (Love Left Behind)
S2: Dilemma

"Where are your legs?"

Shanessa who was in focus facing the computer monitor with a clever fingers typing on the keyboard turned her head. Then, shocked. Although he said they were dating, but the presence of Angkasa always managed to make Shanessa wrong.

"Shock it," Space whispered, then leaned his body against the corner of Shanessa's desk.

"It's light, sir."

Angkasa glanced at Shanessa's feet for a moment, then nodded. He had just returned from out of town and last met the girl a week ago when he drove her home.

"When are you back?" shanessa asked in a bold manner.

"Yesterday, but I went straight home, didn't stop by the office."

There was a disappointed look printed on Shanessa's face, but the girl chose to keep nodding.

"You mad?"

Shanessa gasped again, then shook her head quickly.

"Are you angry because I never returned your message?"

"E-no, sir."

"Continue?" a slanted smile flashed on the lips of Space. Tempting Shanessa is sometimes like that.

"There's no continuation, sir," Shanessa replied, who began to be unable to hide her sense of regret.

For a week they did not communicate at all. Never mind taking the initiative to call and announce his return, Angkasa never even returned the message that Shanessa sent every day.

"I'm busy. You know, right?"

This time Shanessa did not answer. He lowered his head and squeezed his own fingers.

"But, you call Leo often."

Space gawked, then burst into a loud bang, making Shanessa lift her face again.

"Leo is my assistant. So, it's only natural that I contact him often."

Hearing Space's response did not immediately make the annoyance in Shanessa's heart disappear. Is it difficult to type a few words for the reply to the message? It won't be five minutes, will it?

"Let me drive home."

Shanessa widens her eyes. His sulking mode instantly disappeared and changed with panic mode. He got up from his seat, then shook his head quickly.

"No need, sir. I'm not angry, I'm."

"Why?"

"It's okay. Anyway I'm not angry. So, don't drive." Shanessa bit her lower lip, then stepped out her legs to get out of there. However, the Hunger Space held his hand.

"Tumbens?" Space raised next to his brows, staring fixedly at Shanessa. "There's something you're hiding from me, huh?"

Shanessa held her breath, then tried to carve out a smile as sweetly as possible. "Nothing is."

"Continue?"

The timing is not right. If Gantari wasn't home, Shanessa might have jumped in. Moreover, rarely will the Space want to make direct contact like before. What a sad opportunity to miss.

"Where?"

"What?"

An anxious Fikri immediately took the file Nevan was reading, causing Nevan to stare at him with a frown.

"Gue just read. So, can't give you a decision yet" Nevan protested.

"Not that! How's Gantari?"

Nevan. Throat suddenly tightened. "It's office hours. Can we talk about work?"

"Loe thought avoiding the problem would be solved?"

Fikri placed the file he had taken onto the table, then moved from there. He stepped out of Nevan's room in annoyance.

"Loe thought this was easy for me?" nevan muttered after Fikri closed the door. He rubbed his face rough, then looked at the laptop screen with a background photo of his wedding with Gantari.

...****************...

Angkasa continues his car to the Ardiwinata family residence. Beside him was Shanessa whose tumbens became very quiet.

"Actually that hurts your legs or your heart?"

Shanessa flinched, then turned to Space without an answer. He just stared at Angkasa who again smiled nosily. Then, his face became wary when he saw Angkasa playing his phone with one hand.

"Don't play hp while driving, sir."

Angkasa did not criticize Shanessa's protest because she only played her phone for a while, then returned it to its original place. Simultaneously, there was a twang sound from Shanessa's phone, a sign of incoming messages.

Shanessa grabbed the phone in her bag, then touched the power button and immediately a amused smile rose from her lips.

"Not to be answered now, sir."

Angkasa glanced at Shanessa, then a smile suddenly poked from her lips. In fact, he had secretly gotten used to Shanessa's childish demeanor.

Finally the expected one arrived as well. Angkasa's car pulled over in front of the fence of Ardiwinata's residence because Shanessa did not offer to stop by.

"Be careful, yes, sir," Shanessa said after removing her seatbelt. His hand had even moved to pull the door handle, looking so rushed.

Although it felt strange, but Angkasa still nodded his head. He nodded again as Shanessa, who was standing outside the car, waved at him, then began to turn around and walk into the yard. Really in a hurry.

Angkasa made his shoulders chatty, then spurred back his car after Shanessa was completely invisible again. Not far away, however, because the car stopped.

Space reopened the window glass and circulated the view towards the large house. Nothing is strange. He would again close it, but was stopped when he saw the figure of a woman who came out of the house with a limped step.

The woman ... Gantari Dihyan Irawan's.
