Papa's Little Daughter

Papa's Little Daughter
The Greatest Sins

Rosa's POV

I have been in the hospital for 1 month. For 1 month I did not even step back to my house.

I really miss my dad, but... The feeling of wanting to be with Shania is bigger than that.

Forget about dad and home. I'm more comfortable here, around my real family.

I turned towards the bed, looking at the small figure that was increasingly taking care of. Both the thin cheeks and the black hollow under the eyes bear witness to how hard Shania struggles to heal. Although until now the good sign has not been seen in the slightest.

Chandra the more here it gets messed up. Often the man vented his emotions on anyone. The man was disappointed, disappointed in everything. Moreover, it will be a fate that is so cheating on Shania.

The man I was talking about in my heart finally emerged from the doorway.

"Where from?" my many.

Lips clenched, no sign of answering my question. Chandra just passed by, then sat down next to her daughter.

"Shan wants to go for a walk? Come on, baby, let's take a walk." Chandra is very good at changing his expression. He's a good actor who hides the true screams of his heart.

Shania nodded, then spread her two weak hands to Chandra.

Shania now increasingly does not have the energy to move. He was very tired and lethargic. He spent much of his time in bed or at the head of Chandra, his father.

I always feel sad when I know the truth now. I really miss Shania who is active, energetic, and has a lot of voices.

Shania when are you going to come back like that again baby?

"Sir Elsa... Come with us for a walk."

I nodded to Chandra's invitation.

Now the three of us are out of the nursery. Our streets are not far, only around the hospital area. Always like this.

I know very well that Shania must be saturated with this sight she always sees, but how else, Doctor Hans does not allow Shania to go anywhere. Too risky.

We all don't want Shania to get tired.

"Dear baby, look at that butterfly. Shan likes butterfly, right?"

Shania did not lift her head up one bit. The boy had no desire to look up at his father's index finger pointing towards the butterfly.

Chandra bent his fingers back. He chose to gently swipe Shania's back.

"We sit down so." Chandra takes Shania to the middle of the park. Sit between the long benches there, in direct sunlight.

I also sat there. My hand touched Shania's foot. Trying to provide stimulation to that part of the body.

"Said Dr. Hans, sunlight is good for health. Especially at this hour." I said while giving a slow massage on both feet Shania.

"Free, Shan can't handle anything."

One sentence that was thrown from his small mouth in an instant managed to get me and Chandra stuck.

We both sat for a moment.

I saw for myself how those sad eyes finally appeared. Chandra covered it by bowing her head deeply.

It's really my fault. I was so stupid in speaking. I should have kept quiet. Silence from earlier was a good thing. Look, what a mess I'm doing now. Stupid rosa! You stupid Rosa!

"Why is this as bright as Shan?"

Deg.

My heart beat suddenly fast. Both my eyes were hot. I looked at Chandra with tears already welling up in the pelupuk.

Not Chandra... Please, no...

"Shan papa has done anything for you, but why do you easily say anything is free. Papa sad Shan..."

Chandra's tone shook. Chandra even looks difficult to regulate his breathing.

I don't want Chandra to cry.

"Chandra let's bring Shania back, now it's so hot the sun."

"Don't try to shift Rosa's subject. You better shut up, I still want to talk to my daughter."

Now, I can't do anything...

"Shan, replied papa. Why are you like this now? Why don't you have the spirit you used to have? Why Shan? Where's your promise to heal first?"

One clear melt fell across Chandra's cheek. As strong as his strength held him back, Chandra still lost as well.

"Sorry papa, but Shan's tired."

Chandra's tears are dripping. His shoulders were shaking violently.

I can't bear to see it. I decided to take Shania from her lap. I clenched Shania very tightly, turning the child's face away from her sobbing father.

"Shania you shouldn't talk like that. That's not good."

"You know how else, Brother, Shan can't heal, right? Shan's pain is severe, right? Shan... Shan's going, right?"

"NO SHAN!"

My body immediately jerked, as well as Shania's body. I'll take Shania as soon as possible to leave.

"Sir Elsa..." Still walking, Shania suddenly called out to me.

"Hmm? What's up Shania?" I focused my eyes on this little girl.

The little hand touched my face slowly. Finally my footsteps stopped in the corridor because of it.

"Why dear Shania?"

Shania who was in my arms looked at me with eyes that I did not understand.

My feelings became unsettled.

"Why baby?" for the third time I asked him again.

Very long silence. Until finally...

"Rose... Elsa's sis' name is actually Rosa, right? Brother Rosa... Sis Rosa would not marry papa? Rosa's sister won't be Shan's mother?"

...

Rosa's POV END

~Flashback...

Pink school bag hanging on back. Matted uniforms and shoes that already do not rule the shape of the rope. Ruffled hair, dirt stains and I don't know what it looks like everywhere.

"Why is this your sin?" Just came the young woman immediately got a surprised look from her interlocutor.

Chandras. Chandra doesn't believe what happened to that woman.

"Hiks.. hyks..." The crying is inevitable. The woman named Rosa was upset in her grief.

Afraid that someone else would know or hear her heartbreaking cry, Chandra shakes Rosa's hand to move away to a quiet place.

The backroom of the school they finally finished.

Chandra calms Rosa's cry. Hugged the girl sincerely.

"Cup cup don't cry. I've said many times that being bullied is Sa's opponent. Don't let it go."

"But I don't dare. The five of them are Chan, hiks..."

Chandra tightened his embrace back. Chandra is actually angry at what happened to his best friend, but Chandra does not have any power to give calculations to the bullies.

Not Chandra not daring, it's just... Women are not the right opponent for a real man.

"Judah please, tomorrow let me tell your father."

Rosa immediately shook her head. "No Chan, no. Not dad. Dad's busy, he's still running his party. After all, if this incident until heard by the father... I'm gonna be pissed at this school. Father temprament. I don't want a bad father's image."

Chandra thought very deeply, trying to find another brilliant alternative.

"I told my dad's mom."

Rosa finally agreed.

"Now clean your body. There's an art practice exam, right, your class?"

"Yes, 10 o'clock."

Chandra squealing. "It's 9 o'clock over 55 Sa!"

Rosa panicked, and so did Chandra. Chandra quickly helps Rosa. Styling Rosa's messy hair, giving Rosa's elbows and nudges that have land. And the last one is putting Rosa's shoelaces.

"Oh, so dirty is your uniform."

Both of Rosa's eyes were back. The woman was crying back. "How's dong Chan?"

"Ck, put on my uniform. Let's go tukeran."

Chandra and Rosa enter the unlocked warehouse together. The small mistake that was missed was that they should take turns to enter. The small mistake eventually creates a huge sin for both.

"Absen 20, Rosa Widyatama please step forward."

....

The whole classroom is quiet.

"Come Rosa Rosa, where's Rosa? Now it's practice!"

"There's no Rosa's mom."

"Where? Is there a license or not? I scribble yes, let the Rosa not pass."

"Born in..."

The figure bowed with trembling footsteps entered the room. Rosa, that woman did not dare to raise her face in the slightest.

Meanwhile, somewhere else... Still in a desolate and dusty warehouse, Chandra cried in great frustration.

Chandra is sorry, so very sorry.
