Papa's Little Daughter

Papa's Little Daughter
First Time School

The day really goes on. I've forgotten how many days my son lives in the hospital. I don't know, I forgot to count it.

So far, the treatment taken is still the same. Shan was still only taking medicines. I don't know why that is either. I don't know why my son just has to take medicine, not do other treatments such as radiation therapy or chemo like cancer in general.

I asked the doctor many times, but the doctor said the same thing. Still waiting for time....

I don't know when. But I'm sure those doctors have been trying their best to cure Shan, it couldn't be otherwise.

"Papa, where are those little kids going?" Shan pointed to a line of small children who might be not far from Shan were walking down the corridor. Shan looked up out of the window as the children moved further away and were no longer even visible to them.

"What are those little kids doing? Where are those little kids going?"

Hahaha, my stomach feels like it's tickled after hearing Shan's words.

Shan... You call them little kids? Just so you know, you're a kid too. Even smaller than them.

A nurse suddenly entered the room where Shan and I were. As usual this is the morning visit hour to check Shan's condition.

"Sus, sus, where are those little kids going? How's it going in that direction?" Shan was still very curious about the object he had seen just a moment ago.

"Oh that, they're Shan's school" said the nurse.

Instantly both of Shan's eyes instantly sparkled. A very magical word that managed to make Shan gasp. School. Yeah, I know that was Shan's wish from a long time ago.

It was no longer surprising that Shan directly whined to me. "Papa, Shan wants their kayaking school."

I can guess so much.

......***......

"Shan wants her bag pink color and there's a picture of her elsa pa. That's not the unicorn. Shan mauuu's. Keep going, later Shan's shoes are like Salsa's feet, which is good it's pa."

"Yes yes, yes..." I could only respond to all of Shan's requests with the word yes as my finger moved agilely scrolling through the screen of the phone in hand. I decided to look for all the needs of the Shan school through the online store. Yeah because I don't have time to go out to the mall or anywhere.

I can't leave Shan to stay in the hospital alone. Even if only for a moment.

"This is the bag I've met." I cried.

"Where is it? Shan mah look!" The little boy looked up at his face closer. His face almost filled my phone screen.

"Where? Shan likes this one?" my many.

One nod excitedly he gave. Followed by a cheerful voice and also obscure jumps on the bed. I stopped him immediately. This kid is like this if he's happy.

Duhh Shan, this hospital bed could collapse later.

"Pa, then when can Shan go to school? Tomorrow huh?"

Huh tomorrow??

But, but, but, I haven't registered Shan. I don't even know who the school manager is.

"What about Shan next week? The same bag of shoes purchased also has not come dear."

Another nurse came from the door. I'm a little confused because it's not a visiting hour anymore.

"What's up?" I asked the nurse.

"I'd like to let you know that Shan can go to school tomorrow."

"Huhhh???" Surprised my dong. How could?

"So the student on behalf of Shan was already registered by one of the RS visitors. From the data, what registered Shan was emm..." The nurse turned over the sheet of paper she was carrying. "On behalf of Yolla's mother."

Whats?? Yolla????

Oh means he heard this morning my conversation with Shan that the boy was whining for school.

......***......

The day that Shan had been waiting for finally arrived. Shan with two ponytails now carries his bag on his back. Not his own bag but Salsa's borrowed bag because Shan's own bag is still sorted in cross-provincial shipping warehouses. His shoes, too, borrowed from Salsa. Shoes that have been small in size Salsa feet, but still very good. Obviously good, Yolla where would you buy her son cheap stuff? There are even allergies.

"Have I been pretty yet?"

"It's a dear." I combed his bangs, tried to tidy up his bangs even though I was very sure that the hairs would not last long due to the postage behavior he would do later.

Although Shan is sick, but he is still very hyperactive. I've told you this many times. Shan really makes no difference, still the same as before.

Shan is ready. I took her hand and led her to school. The school in question is still in the hospital environment, precisely still one building with a hospital.

It's very sophisticated here. All the facilities and procedures are very complete. I just found out this time there is a special children's hospital that provides a place to go to school. Hm... The founder was really very concerned with the rights of the sick children.

Shan in his school level is still in the most basic level. Or what we call a playgroup. According to the guidebook that I read last night, this playgroup school will only play, train motor, and art. It's really nice, huh...

"Papa, Shan's nervous."

"Why?" I looked at Shan who was far below. His small and short posture contrasted with my height until I finally decided to crouch down to match it.

I held both of her little shoulders and looked at her deeply. "Why baby? Don't be nervous, there's papa."

"Shan's afraid that Shan's men will be naughty."

"Will not... No one will dare to call Shan later."

Shan lowered his head. I don't know why he suddenly looks lethargic like this. Why did he who was so excited suddenly arrive in front of the school place immediately turned soft like this?

"Shan, gini. Papa will come in. Papa's going to keep him Shan, okay? There's nothing to be afraid of, baby, because papa's near Shan all the time."

Shan finally raised his face. He's looking at me now. The two of us looked at each other for a long time, until finally his two small arms scattered and hugged my neck.

"Thank you papa." whispered very gently in my ear.

Equally my dear Shan...
