Papa's Little Daughter

Papa's Little Daughter
A Coincidence Or?

Rosa's POV

A week after chemo, Shania's hair completely fell out. Mama knit a skull for Shania, to cover the little boy's head. So that Shania doesn't feel cold.

"Assalamu'alaikum's chat..." Chandra came into the room.

"Mamma" replied Mama. Mama immediately searched Chandra with a variety of questions.

"Where have you been Chan? Lately it's always gone out of the blue, gone home too long. Where the hell were you? Shan nyariin you keep on nak."

"Lad..." Shania ran towards Chandra and immediately landed her embrace on the tall body.

"Why nyariin hm? Papa's doing laundry, baby."

It's always Chandra's answer. Either it's true or it's just Chandra's alibi. Why does laundry take so long? And where does it say the clothes in Chandra's laundry are? He came only empty-handed without a bag of clothes that he said had been dilaundry.

"It's still not dry, wait tomorrow the day after tomorrow can be taken" said Chandra casually.

"I told you, laundry is near the front intersection. It can be taken straight away, it works very clean, very clean again." said Yolla. Yes sister Yolla, lately also often here, even to stay overnight.

Now the situation of the room where Shania was treated was not as lonely as before, quite crowded. The rest of the family always came to accompany Shania.

"Yes, yes, I moved to the laundry place that you meant" said Chandra who was still holding Shania.

Chandra sat on the same sofa as me. We're just a fraction of a centi meter away.

"Rosa, if you want to go home, just go home. There's a mom here with Yolla."

"Lohh, how come Rosa is pa? Elsa pa, Elsa. Her name is Elsa!" Shania doesn't accept I was called Rosa by her father.

"Hmm yaudah deh, Elsa" said Chandra, resigned. Shania smiled at the sumringah.

"Yes, I'll be home in the afternoon."

"DON'T!!!" shania shouted spontaneously.

Chandra to his surprise, both his eyes reflexively glared as he felt Shania's screams tremble his eardrums.

"Why can't Shan go home?" Mom asked what exactly was going on.

Shania did not reply, she simply sunk her face into the chest of Chandra's field. Shania seemed reluctant to answer that key question.

Chandra then gently rubbed Shania's head. "Shan's... Let Elsa's sister come home for a while, she misses her family."

Shania slowly raised her head. He looked at Chandra fixedly. "Son Elsa has a family, huh?"

"Yes obviously got dong dear. Elsa's sister is like us, has a family..."

"Cerus—terus... Who's Elsa's family?"

Chandra turned to look at me. The man seemed to be thinking about what to say next to Shania.

Chandra sighed briefly. "Yes there is a Shan family, papa also do not know if Shan tanyanya to papa. Papa is not his family."

Deg.

It's enough to pierce the recesses of my heart, but what Chandra said is true.

Flashback...

"Chan I don't want to! Neither did the dead man want to!"

"Sa please, it's our son. I'll take responsibility."

"Insponsible?? My father could kill you!"

"I don't care about Sa. Anyway you have to hold that kid. Please don't be tempted, it's our son. Rosa, we're family now..."

"NO!"

"SISTER ROSA!"

"Ehh..." My daydreams of the past are disappearing. Shania surprised me.

My heart rate is beating fast. I catch my breath repeatedly.

Shania held my hand. The touch made me calm for a moment.

"Sir Elsa why? How are you feeling sad?"

I shook my head even though both of my eyes were very warm. Please don't cry... Please don't cry...

Without guessing Shania crawled towards me. He who was once in Chandra's lap is now turning towards my lap. This kid hugged me so tight.

Warm, very warm. I just felt this once how a warmth like this. Her small body was very comfortable in my arms. Shania, I want to linger in a position like this.

Shania please don't let me go....

"Sir Elsa don't be sad, if brother Elsa is sad, Shan will also be sad."

Deg.

My heart seemed to be crushed for a moment. I closed both my eyelids. Letting it be closed so that my tears that were about to creep out of the fertilizer can seep into the back.

Oh my God please, I really want to cry for real right now.

"Shan let's see miming. We haven't seen your cat in a long time."

"H come on paa!"

Chandra finally saved me...

Author's POV

In the end Rosa did not come home as she intended. Both of Rosa's eyes were very severe. Rosa cried all day in her car. And now he did not dare to show his face in front of anyone.

"That's Chandra?" Rosa's gaze immediately focused on the figure of a man who was walking straight through the front of his car. Rosa could see clearly it was indeed Chandra.

"Where is he going? Why did he cross the street? Where's the car? Why didn't he just get in the car?"

Finally, it was in Rosa's mind to follow the man.

Chandra seems completely unaware of the presence of Rosa's car following her from behind. Nothing came to Chandra's mind, the man just walked straight, straight down the street in front of him. Until finally an angkot passed beside him.

Chandra intercepts the angkot, then enters it.

Rosa was made even more confused, where exactly is Chandra going?

Rosa still continues to follow where the sky blue angkot went.

"Portgage place??"

Deg.

Rosa chokes and reflexes on her brakes when a real Chandra drops in a pawnshop near a market.

Without thinking long Rosa went straight down. And again Chandra still does not know Rosa who is behind him.

Rosa was about to call out to the man but her tongue was like a hoax. Rosa finally let the figure actually enter the door of the pawn that had been before her.

"Chandra what's going on here? What's he gonna pawn?" Rosa had no idea what transactions were going on inside. The woman was just waiting in front. Until a deafening horn distracted her attention.

"My car!" he cried when he realized that the source of the horn was aimed at his car.

"Woi movedin' not your car? Do I need to call a crane ha??" a truck driver shouted at Rosa who had just come to his car.

"I-iya yes sir, m—maaf.." says Rosa's distraught. Rosa immediately moved the car.

"Draw woi! It's jammed!" the truck driver shouted again.

"Sorry..."

"Hihh thought this was the way of grandma lo what?!" the driver said before he finally walked away. Followed by other cars and motorcycles.

Tin tin tin...

Due to this disorder Rosa eventually loses track of Chandra. The man was no longer seen at the pawn shop. Chandra's been gone, whether since when and where the man disappeared.

Rosa was still circling in place, trying to look around in various directions, perhaps there was a Chandra figure tucked between the many objects there. But the results are still nil.

Until a sound finally shocked her.

"Rose."

It was not Chandra who called him, but rather...

"Doctor Hans?" Rosa immediately frowned. Rosa did not think. "What is the doctor doing here?"

"Nobody, just buy ice cendol at the market hehehe" said doctor Hans while lifting a white crackle to the air.
