Papa's Little Daughter

Papa's Little Daughter
Where's Shan going?

"Eummh..." I rubbed my eyes for a glance, feeling the sunlight rushing in through the gap of the window glass.

It turns out the day has changed again in the morning. By the way sleeping in a sitting position like this makes my back very sore. And I didn't know it would be like this until when?

But I don't want to go home. Yes, I miss my home and my dad, but... I can't leave this place even just a few steps. Honestly, I can't leave Shania...

"Wake up and have breakfast with Chandra." I reflexively looked back.

Mamma...

Mama told me to have breakfast with Chandra, eat the food she had cooked.

I nodded and immediately folded my blanket. Ah wait... A blanket? Since when did a blanket cover my body? Who covered me last night?

Te—terthank mom...

I'm heading for the pantry behind the wall. Chandra was already there, sitting on one of the chairs with a plate in his hand. With one leg rising on the chair as well.

Chandra took a quick glance at me and continued eating it. I looked at the table in front of Chandra, a plate full of rice and side dishes were ready. Someone prepared it for me. Mama again.

Thanks mama...

I'm waiting for Chandra to finish new for gilira—

"Have eaten!" chandra Command.

Alright. With clumsy steps I approached the food. I sat down on another chair near the dining table.

"Where's no fork in here?"

"Uhukk uhukk uhukk!"

I was immediately shocked because Chandra suddenly choked.

"Sa, this isn't your house with the full tableware like that five-star hotel. Just wear everything, don't use all manners."

"L-yes..."

I eat my food. Mama's cooked food was delicious, the taste never changed. It still feels the same as I used to feel.

"Shan is joining Shan today?"

I looked towards Chandra. "Sh—Shania where are you going?"

"Today it's time for Shan's chemo again."

"Ke-kemo?"

"Yes chemo, I know you're pinter. So I don't need to explain for sure you already know about it yourself. Please follow Shan there later."

I nodded then sped up my meal as I saw Chandra who had finished and passed towards the sink.

"Chandra let me do the dishes."

The man gave his glance. No words, silent. There was only the sound of the clanking of plates being placed and then followed by footsteps that sauntered away.

"Shan wants to pack a tie of blue hair so it's the same as Elsa pa's brother."

"Yes yes, dear yes..." Chandra curls Shania's hair. The movement of his hands was so clever, that I unconsciously turned my focus on the strands of hair that fell to the floor surface.

Chandra's legs could not stand still, continuing to move to get rid of the hairs into the bottom of the bed.

"Son Elsa is here."

My attention was distracted at the call of the little girl. I approached immediately, according to his request.

"Yes Shania..."

"Later temenin Shan yes. Papa papa will be with Elsa, will you?"

"He'eh come with him Shan."

"Horeee Shan much! Shan's not lonely."

"Udah yuk, it's ready. Now let's go to doctor Hans's room, it's been waiting for."

Chandra held that tiny hand. And unexpectedly, another tiny hand grabbed my hand. Shania asked me to hold her.

The room we were going to was already in sight. The three of us went in at the same time.

"Good morning doctor Hans!" greet Shania cheerfully.

Doctor Hans smiled and welcomed the words from Shania was no less warm. "Good morning Shan! How's Shan doing this morning?"

"Shan seneng doc!"

"I'm wrong Shan. If asked how he said the answer is thankfully healthy, not seneng. Shan you how the hell." said Chandra who immediately made laughter echoed to the corner of the room. The nurses laughed too.

But it turned out that the entire laughter disappeared a few moments later. Laughter is now replaced by the sound of Shania's screams that are so slicing of the heart.

"Hei Shan is calm dear, cup no papa Shan, cup." Chandra holds Shania's heavily rebellious body.

Shania was crying. Not without cause, she cried because the intravenous needle injected by Dr. Hans accidentally broke and left inside the layer of Shania's flesh.

Blood is shed a lot. Shania was terrified, coupled with extreme pain of course.

"Doctor Hans how the hell? What can you do?!" Chandra grumpy. His emotions could no longer be contained.

The situation that happened was completely chaotic. Everyone is in trouble in their own problems. And i'm... I don't know what to do now.

"Pick up the tweezers and scissors, I'll do a little surgery."

"KKKHHHH!" shania shouted as her arm was forced to be torn apart with various equipment from Dr. Hans.

Chandra looks start to wobble. I saw how Chandra was sweating so much on his face. He gulped down his own saliva many times like a very nervous person. He looks very unsettled.

Blood flooded Shania's clothes. Chandra's clothes did not escape the splashes.

"Why don't you get an anesthetic first?" I honestly couldn't bear to see Shania groaning in pain with both eyes closed by Chandra using her hands.

"Rosa please..."

"Sander." I gasped to see Chandra suddenly drowning on the sofa. Shania, who was in her lap until she slumped down, almost fell down.

"Chandra why are you?" doctor Hans panicked to see Chandra like that.

"I'm a blood phobia..."

That was the last word Chandra said before the man was unconscious.

Author's POV

"Eska Domikado... Eskado..."

Shan played cheerfully with Rosa. Shan occasionally looked back, towards the bed occupied by Chandra.

Yeah, Chandra hasn't regained consciousness too after fainting a while ago from the limp of seeing blood.

"Eummm papa, aren't you awake yet, brother?" Shan's expression turned sad. Rosa was instantly confused by him. Must be invited to play let alone this so that Shan is not sad?

"Shania let's play hide and seek." take Rosa with an enthusiastic look. But Shan nodded.

"Shan can't bump if papa is still passed out..."

It has nothing to do with it, but that's what a child's mind is...

Rosa is still trying to twist her brain, trying to work out another way.

Rosa took her cell phone. Not because Rosa was tired and gave up serving Shan then chose to play her phone, right! Rosa took her phone to open youtube.

This time it's not cocomelon.

"Shania, look at me, brother if sad to see the painting video" said Rosa while showing her phone screen.

"Haaa painting???" Shan immediately drew closer to Rosa. The little boy also noticed what Rosa was watching on her phone.

Shan's eyes couldn't escape from the screen. He was amazed, as if he had never seen what he was seeing.

For the art business, Shan was very excited.

"Shania likes to paint?" ask Rosa.

Shan nodded without looking at the questioner. The focus is completely centered by the video.

"Sister also likes to paint, like our hobby is the same as Shania."

"Oh yeah..." Shan's gaze eventually led to Rosa.

"Yes Shania."

"Means sister Elsa never used emm—apa tuh name—emm..." Shan did not manage to find his words. Finally the boy chose to point towards the video that is still playing.

"Oh yes?"

"Well that! Brush, Shan just sip."

Rosa smiled, smiling very gently. A smile that was only for Shan.

"Shania wants to hold the brush huh? Shania wants to paint?"

Both Shan's eyes suddenly sparkled. "Yes, brother, Shan really wants to paint." said his little lips.

"Bai—"

"Papa's awake!" Not yet Rosa finished her words, Shan's attention was distracted when she heard Chandra squirming.

Chandra finally came to her senses.

"Father!" Shan directly hugged the big man. Although still lying but Shan did not care, the boy immediately jumped and clung tightly to his papa's body.

"Hiks..."

"Hey, how come Shan? Cup cups..." Chandra who was still a little weak was surprised to see his daughter who was now crying. Why is Shan crying like this? Don't you like seeing her dad wake up? Does Shan want his papa to fall asleep?

NAY!

"Papa slept long. Shan was scared, Shan thought papa why? Why isn't it pa?"

Chandra shakes. "Well, why don't Shan..."

Chandra rubbed Shan's face, wiping out Shan's enormous tears as he cried for only a few seconds.

Chandra then tries to sit down. His body is still weak coupled with Shan nangkring will not be off hit his body makes Chandra so terribly difficult to sit.

Rosa was about to help, but... Chandra must have refused.

Chandra finally positioned her body to sit down.

Shan was still a girl, it seemed like his crying had not been completed.

Chandra grabbed Shan's arm, looking for something that made him very uneasy.

A pink plaster was perched there. In Shan's elbow fold.

"Sick is Shan?" ask Chandra while gently touching the part.

Shan shook his head. Far from Chandra's prediction the little boy instead said the opposite. "It doesn't hurt, Shan is strong. Shan missed the incident."

"Papa's little girl is a real pinter... Trophies." Chandra then kissed the sleeve of the stuck syringe. Chandra hopes that this kind of event will not happen again.

Chandra hoped her Shan would not be in pain anymore.

Unknowingly, someone 2 meters away from them had shed tears. Rosa was crying in her silent position...
