The healing days have improved. We scheduled the next day to spend time in the Old City. Luky said he wanted to visit a shop that sells antiques.
"What are you looking for there?" I hold her hand tightly.
We walked past the Yellow Church in front of the Vabadussa Monument in the city center. Then cross a large road filled with red lights at various intersections. The stops here are often congested, bypassed by Bus and Trolley.
"You're looking for Palo Santo wood" he replied.
"What wood?" I've never heard of this wooden name before.
"Palo Santo" he repeated.
"For what?" ask again.
I don't think we need anything like this in our apartment. He halted his steps and we faced off among the small snowdrops that began to fall from the sky.
"Palo Santo is also referred to as holy wood or healing wood. It grows in South America. I looked on the internet, they were selling it in one of the stores near here," he pointed towards the end of the street.
I used to go down this street, but I never thought I'd see the antique shop he was talking about. Wood healer, is this one of the ways to help me?, I think Luky did it for me. We walked back and then stopped in front of a 4-story building. There, a storefront we can see from the outside. Luky's right, this store does sell unusual items in it.
The bell rang as we opened the door and stepped in. "Now!" the sound of the greeting in the sound of the automatic machine. This shop is quite spacious, from the start of entry filled with knick-knacks lace dangling. My eyes were also on the Dream Catcher which was hung in various sizes, colors and motifs. It's beautiful, I thought. I've always loved to see the dream catcher even though I've never bought it.
"You likey?" asked Luky who followed me and came to see various dream catchers stuck on the rope, and also pinned on the shop wall net. The way they design this store is unique. Just like the stuff they sell here.
"We need to buy this Dream Catcher. Which one do you like?" said later.
"But we don't need it" I continued.
"Just choose. Dream catcher is believed to prevent you from nightmares and also dispel negative energy from the outside. Of course if you believe it. My mom used to put it in our window".
I heard the story and don't plan to argue anymore to buy this dream catcher. It's not that I believe it, I just like the motive. Brown color is my choice, the feathers of the bird dangling which amounted to 6 strands. Brown, red and yellow beads are neatly sewn together to form a net in the middle. I love it and it will be the first dream catcher I will ever have. Luky was then busy choosing small pieces of wood that were placed in glass cups arranged on wooden shelves.
"Palo Santo?" ask me while touching the wood.
"Hyrup smells?" he put the wood in front of my nose. I inhaled a few times.
"You smell something? What is the power of its aroma?".
"Harum" answered.
Well, this wood has a unique aroma that I can say and is very strong. The smell of dry wood from the natural fragrance of the forest. Luky picked up a few pieces and took them to the cashier with Dream Catcher. But I still live in this shop. So I decided to go back and look at some of the other stuff. I stopped at the hanging necklaces. There are a lot of pendants from a very nice stone. My heart was stuck in a brick red stone pendant. It's beautiful, I thought. When I touch the surface, it's slippery and charming.
"Jasper's stone is also known as protection stone because it is believed to provide protection energy. It can help people who wear it be protected when conditions are in danger" he continued.
"Oh yeah? I had only heard the name of the stone, but never knew much about the meaning behind the stone or its uses".
"This stone is also believed to bring peace, courage and give strength to the mind. In addition, it also helps the speed of thinking someone and imagine well".
"Oh you know a lot about this stone" I said, returning it to its place.
I do love it and feel in love with this stone pendant. But I don't feel like I have to have it now. Next my eyes were on the bookshelves in the corner. There are a lot of old books sold. Most of them are not new books. I was intrigued to take a closer look at most of the books in Estonian. Right on the second shelf, among the several brown-coated books, my eyes caught a book that was familiar to me.
"The secret?" Luky spoke in my ear. This time it was closer until he then pecked at my cheek.
"Yes, but in Eesti" I said.
"Of course mostly in Estonian. Most people here do not speak English, otherwise Estknia is Russian" Luky explained.
My mind floated on the other bookshelves I'd seen in Allan's apartment. There, I also saw that he had The Secret Book, which I believed was what made me fill the memories in his house. Ah hurry up I'll brush off this memory. Luky is filling my heart right now. The man I chose won my whole heart.
"Reverse yuk. Let's play games in Oldtown before we go home,".
"Okay, are you sure no one wants to buy?" He asked again as he picked up the package at the cashier's desk.
"Yes. We'll play back here sometime" I continued.
We then went out into the street, penetrating the passersby. The snow has grown bigger now. It's beautiful, the streets are turning white.
"Eh wait a moment. I'll be right back".
"Where?" Luky didn't answer my question. But ran towards the store. We walked through several buildings.
I looked up at the sky, looking at the falling snow. My hands are stretched out trying to catch some snowdrops. Some left in my hands, some drifted back to melt on the ground. Winter is so beautiful. At least it's back beautifully. I saw the light between the clubs of the sky and said goodbye to the clubs of my heart.
Luky ran towards me. As soon as his breath came panting along with his glaring smile. I saw him holding something in his hand. Then he opened it in front of me. My eyes glazed over, he went back to the store to buy the jasper stone-eyed necklace I liked before.
"I can't let us go back home without this necklace. I know you like it" he said.
He then put it on my neck. My tears melt with the snow. Complete, complete is my happiness. I don't need expensive jewels or diamonds. This red stone-eyed necklace has won my heart to love him and love my man even more deeply.
