The ceremony is done as a procession of purification of the mother and child. As the name of the procession, the water used is taken from seven sources. Who did the flush were seven fathers and exemplary mothers from both sides, with the grandmother and grandfather of the baby who took precedence. Watering is usually done in a setting called krobongan or it can also be in the bathroom.

The flush event continued with the brojolan event which is usually led by the baby's grandmother. Finished flush, the future mother only wears a pull cloth accompanied by a piece of rope called letrek. The prospective grandmother will then insert a tropong or chicken egg from the top of the array until it falls from the bottom. After that, brojolan continued with two ivory coconuts that were also protruded from the array. The grandmother must receive or catch ivory coconut from under the barricade and then submit it to the father. Finally, the prospective father cut the letrek rope with a keris as a sign of the husband who can cut the crossbeam.

After completing the brojolan procession, the seven-monthly event continued with the angreman event. The event began with the mother who was led to another room to change clothes with seven kinds of pullcloths. Only the seventh fabric will be used while the six rows previously used will be used as a seat or tool “angrem.” The procession is also usually accompanied by the mother who was fed by the father with rice tumpeng and white red porridge. This indicates the mother who will always take care of the child and also the father who will always support his family.

After the angreman procession, the event will be continued with a procession of breaking the ivory coconut that has been given by the grandmother to the father. The coconut ivory has usually been lured with the puppet character of Kamajaya and Kamaratih who are famous for their good looks and beauty. The father then chooses one of the coconuts to break down. If the father chooses Kamajaya, it is expected that the baby is a boy, and Kamaratih is a girl.

At the end of the event, the mother will make a rujak which will then be sold to the guests. Guests will also buy it with rattles or money from clay materials. This procession is also a hope that the child can get a lot of fortune for himself and also for both their parents.

With the completion of the mitoni event or seven months before sunset, the child is expected to be present in the world with full safety, fortune, and help from the Supreme One.
