Magical Adventure Book
[Chapter 37-2] Granting of Lord Falcoa

Leo and I, escorted out of Governor Falcoa's mansion, by the old servant, were not long after Yenz's departure.

No longer can I admire the luxury of occupancy of the number one person in Sunkalopa, although still thinking about the price of the furniture, which certainly will not be able to be purchased by "kaum mending" like me.

I was still filled with anger at the attitude of Yenz, who was so willing and like trying to get away from me. In fact, not long ago we have made up, because of the incident on Talse Island.

Could he not appreciate me less? Or at least he remembered how our long adventure, full of danger, could finally get here. Isn't that a big thing, which must be hard to just forget?

Until we were on the front porch of this luxurious house. I still continued to mengedumel in my heart, especially when told by the old servant to wait a while, while he returned to the house.

There's nothing I can do to kill boredom. Leo, who is usually chatty, is now busy chewing on the cake, which was allowed by the old maid to carry. Wrapped using her clean white handbag.

Speaking of Leo, I came to think again about him, who just changed his attitude in Talse.

Okay, he's easy going. But, calling Big Brother, to the one who was willing to kill him a few hours earlier, seemed a bit awkward. Also, how about him who can know the ins and outs of the cave? The escape route, which he said he had entered and still remembered where he was going.

The double door behind us opened. Made me stop asking Jamet. My focus was on the old servant, who was walking fast in his haughty style, to get to us.

"I need to inform you both, gentlemen. Mr. Sando still has business with the Great Lord Falcoa, so you can return first to the inn."

To be honest I don't care when the Scarf Face will turn. I am thankful that there is no other vehicle with him. But I was curious about Yenz. The Tega King.

"Then what about Yenz?"

The old servant cleared his throat. Like I was finely reprimanding myself, who had said such a disrespectful thing.

"Young master Yenz, will stay here until the day of departure," he said with a rather quivering intonation. "And, gentlemen, great Lord Falcoa, tell me to give this to you."

Skinny hand covered with white gloves, entered the pocket in his tailcoat. Take out a stack of green-colored paper, with gold threads adorning the image on its surface.

I was surprised to see the pile of money being thrust in front. Margo, who used to be just a factory worker, only this time saw money piled up as much as that.

"What's this?" my many. Shaking to take.

"This is a gift from the Great Lord Falcoa. The daily allowance of the two of you, which amounts to a hundred thousand dem."

One hundred thousand dem for daily allowance. It took me ten months of my labor at the factory, to equal the amount of money Falcoa gave me.

"So seriously this is for me?" I tried to convince myself.

"To be exact for both of you. And also, tomorrow before lunch, there will be an invitation that will take you gentlemen, to the private residential hut, on the hill behind the city. The Great Lord of Falcoa."

I didn't think it out. How rich Lord Falcoa really is. Giving a large amount of daily money, and it was also coupled with free housing, which I thought could not be just a small cottage.

The horse-drawn carriage we were riding to get to the governor's residence, came and parked right in front of the terrace. Waiting for passengers to board.

When I saw the vehicle powered by two pairs of gallant horses, I thought of something that might be able to slightly treat my annoyance because of the behavior of Yenz.

"Come ... Butler, can I request to be delivered to the city center? I want to take a walk there for a while. Let's go back to the inn on foot."

The old servant sighed softly, then walked towards the face of the horse carriage. He spoke to the coachman for a moment, before returning and saying that my request had been made.

Without wasting any time, after saying thank you, I immediately got on the horse carriage, and went to freedom.

No need to worry about money anymore, and do not be afraid anymore, with all kinds of things related to my fugitive status.

Maybe soon, my story as Margo will end, then return to the original world safely sentosa.

While waiting for it to materialize, there is no harm, right, I spend time with fun.

Fifteen minutes later, this horse carriage arrived in front of the archway, with a pair of Andapala Kingdom flags fluttering at both poles.

"Sir, the waiter seemed to want to say something before we left" said Leo, as we walked through the archway.

Honestly, because I was too excited, I didn't notice. "Of course, maybe just a little thing. If it's important, he'll be holding us back, telling us first, before the horse-drawn carriage leaves."

"Yes too, yeah. All right then, how about we eat, sir? It's past lunchtime now, and my stomach is starving" Leo asked. With sparkling eyes.

This fellow. Didn't he eat a bowl full of cake? What kind of stomach does she have.

But yeah, I'm actually hungry too. Mumpung is in the center of the city, and in the pocket stored a fresh money, of course, it does not matter, right, scatter it a little with culinary hunting.

Tips from mothers in finding a good food place, while being in a foreign place. Look for a restaurant, or a food booth that has many visitors!

Makes sense. Because it must be only for good food, people will be willing to queue for long.

No need to bother looking for it. In a row of shops, near a huge fountain that splits the street, a restaurant with a board on it says "Simple Resto", is probably the place I was looking for. Full of visitors huddled there.

It doesn't seem to be my wrong guess. Even from the outside, there was a tempting delicious aroma.

Yep, all full. I went around checking it twice, but not a single table was empty. Table inside, or outside the restaurant. Dismissed my hopes of eating at this stone-walled restaurant. It might be a good idea to go to another restaurant that is a bit quieter.

I was about to move on, when a man at the table I passed greeted.

"Didn't you get a seat, sir? If you want, I don't mind sharing with you two, which I guess are the travelers. Traveling to spend a fun holiday between father and son."

The skinny man in a neat black shirt, with that tall hat, was actually very friendly. But, a little annoyed also heard his words, which said that Jamet was my son. Does this Margo look that old?

Damnit damnit!

"Thank you very much for your kindness, sir. But please forgive me. He is not my son, but my traveling companion" I said, after sitting in the chair before him.

"God. I really have no intention of offending you, sir. Please forgive me, Ferdinan Mashet, this is for his displeased words, sir." The oval-faced man, with his unique whiskers curling up to form that spiral, lowered his head with his right hand placed on his left chest.

I'm not feeling good to see it.

"It's okay, Mr. Mashet. It really is just a small matter that need not be exaggerated" I said. "Oh yes. Introduce. I'm Margo Damarion, and this young man's name is Leo."

I was stunned when I saw the Jamet, who had not been standing by when he was standing, with a sharp eye looking at Mr. Mashet. It's very disrespectful.

"Is there something on my face, Mr Leo?" ask the quirky mustachioed man, with a light intonation that sounds witty.

I quickly pulled Leo's hand to get him closer.

"What's wrong with you, hey!" hisisku, who got no response. "Leo!? What the hell is wrong with you? Is that how you act so weird? Now you better go inside to order some food. Hurry along!"

Without answering, the young man went inside the restaurant, to fulfill my orders.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Mashet. Leo is like that when he's hungry. May you not be offended" I said, after Leo had passed.

The quirky moustached middle-aged man chuckled crisply. "It's okay, sir. That's how people are his age." Mr. Mashet poured tea from the teapot on the square table, which limited us. "Oh yes. If you may know, where did you come from, Mr Margo?"

From that question, there flowed an exciting conversation between us. Many things he said, with his style of speech that was like pitched. It's not boring to hear it.

From that short talk, I found out that he had a hobby of hunting, and had gone to many islands in the world, just to find a challenge in hunting his prey. Be it in the forest, the mountain, even into the dark cave though, he had done it.

I was amazed and interested in hearing it.

When he found out that I was going to settle in Kalopa - the name of this town on Sunkalopa Island - he excitedly invited me to go hunting with him one day.

I haven't been able to answer the question. He had already said goodbye, because his friend named Hargo, had come to pick him up. A friend who is not an arbitrary person, because the man in white coat, is the captain of the ship that saved us yesterday, from the siege of the Vajal Fleet.

Not long from the departure of the two middle-aged men, Leo returned with a large tray full of food.

Obviously surprised I saw it. But it doesn't matter either. We have a lot of money now. For trivial things like this, do not need to be too thought out.

Looks like my guess about Leo's strange attitude earlier, it's true. Evidently, as long as we eat food until the ludes are not restless, a cheerful hue again adorns his clean face. As always.

With a full stomach like this, it was very unlikely that we would immediately move on. Relaxing with a cup of tea, while listening to the singing of merdua, is indeed the right decision.

I realized after a long time of enjoying it. It turned out that the soft cradling sound came from the fountain pool, which was already full of people.

Encouraged by curiosity, I headed towards the crowd. Unfortunately, by the time I got there, the applause was already reverberating. The sign of the show has been completed.

"Gentlemen, thank you for all your attention. May Miss Crete's sweet voice entertain you all. We, from the El Machos band, thank you, and say goodbye. But! Do not rush, because this handsome Lamar, will go around as usual, carrying a very hungry bag, and ask to be filled with the kindness of the audience. Of course you understand what I mean, right."

Everyone, including me, laughed at the sound of the boy's bell, who had just made his announcement, while standing on the shoulders of the great conga-bearer.

The short boy, whose front teeth were toothless, was helped down by the big man, by holding the neck behind his shirt. It was like lifting a cat. The laughter of the spectators.

Feeling comforted by their performance, without hesitation, I immediately put the money of a hundred dem, into a shabby bag that was thrust by the boy named Lamar.

Gawking he saw the amount of money I gave him. He jumped away just like that, with a step that swung as fast as his little legs could do.

"Wait a minute, sir!" The melodious voice of a woman, making my move to catch up with the other spectators, came to a halt.

I turned my head, and was astonished when I saw a beautiful woman, with long bright copper-colored curls, coming closer.

I was surprised to see him. She is indeed a woman with a gentle and graceful charm. Anyone who looks at it can fall in love.

"Master, Brother Manika assigned me to watch over you. Said, ’Cut it up*******Mister Margo, if she dares to mess with other women.' That's his order." Without me noticing, Leo was already standing next to me.

I gawked at Leo's sentence, which was so lightly spoken. It was as if the serious threat was nothing more than a joke.

Damn it you, Jamet! It turns out that all this time, I was spied on by you, on Manika's orders! Basic traitor!
