[ Chapter 50-2] Entering the South of Danger

An hour or two I slept. This huge ship suddenly shook violently. I woke up, thinking it was an attack from Lasto's Fleet.

My prejudice is wrong. From the only window that was there, I saw the background of the sea raging ferociously. Rampant with whirlwinds and thunder booms in the black mega hangs. What a creepy sight.

I sat down next to Yenz, who let his thighs be Leo's head pad. Starting to think that a fleet attack, might be better than the ferocious raging of the ocean.

"Crazy weather outside of that. What a terrible storm. It still looks bright."

"Two hours ago the weather was friendly, but we have now entered the south. There will be a lot of anomalies here compared to the northern regions. The lizard we encountered in the desert back then, was probably nothing compared to what was here."

"You're kidding, right?"

Yenz snorts. "We are now in dark waters. A place where ocean storms are common. Not many ships dare to pass through these waters, except to take their lives or be brave."

I gulped heavily upon hearing the explanation of the ripe lips.

"But, just calm down. I'm sure that those - the Hovler pirates - are used to passing through these waters. So, no need to worry too much."

"Yes but right, we don't know what might happen. There could be something attacking this ship, or the storm's getting bigger."

Yenz laughs. "You forget that we ever made this ship crash? The nickname of the ship that never shipwrecked Nokhtra is not a figment."

"You mean?"

"If an ordinary ship, it would have been sunk if it was hit by a tornado of wind ore at that time. But look, this ship doesn't even look like it's been damaged before. And, they came to Velbar, just a few days away from the battle that time. Do you think it might be done by an ordinary ship?"

I was amazed to hear it. Although not really know about the ship and the voyage - even arguably zero - but there is also a point Yenz talk.

From here I started to calm down a bit, and started to notice other things. About the quiet room where we were, which turned out to have prepared a blanket and mattress in the corner of the room. Others empty.

Until finally my eyes fell on the shoulders of Yenz, who from behind his clothes was still seeping blood.

"Why don't you just use a magic medicine to treat your wounds?" my many.

"The water you used in that prison was the last drop left." I'm not happy I heard it. But then Yenz continued. "No need to put on a face like that. The uglier you look. Trust me, I don't need it at all, because without it, my wounds would heal after waking up."

The talk likes to be unreasonable. Gunshot wounds like that, it should be given medicine, and it takes a long time to completely heal. Especially if the bullet hit the bone. I know that, because I've experienced it myself - Margo actually - and it only really healed after Yenz gave me the magic cure, while in a swarm of desert bandits.

However, I was a little disturbed also with a silly speech, which accompanied his words earlier.

"Be careful with your mouth, it's not polite for you to make fun of me! I'm older than you!" my snapping, which was responded to by the oddity restrained by it.

God is unfair! He was six years older than Margo, but still with a cute face like a young man in his twenties! I swear, I'm sure he's lying. He was only a few years older than Leo.

"You must be lying!" my cecars don't believe.

Yenz laughed again. "That's it, no need to take heart. To be honest I'm sure you'll look younger if that crumpled bewok on your face is shaved off. I'm here to break it down if you can't do it."

Jleb once said. But, it's true, I don't intend to shave this brewok, because in addition to not being able to do it myself, I was also still traumatized once injured, because the fad playing razor had a father.

The ship suddenly shook violently. We were jumped by it, as well as feeling a great shock. Uniquely, Leo who slammed and fell hard to the floor, with his head landed first, still fell asleep like a baby. As if I didn't feel it at all.

As soon as the shock subsided, I hurried to pick up two blankets, which had already fallen apart. One to cover his body, the other I fold to make a head pad.

"You must have thought that Leon betrayed you and turned to Barrety, right?" yenz's question made me feel embarrassed. "I thought the same as you at first, but seeing him helping you on the ship, my mind changed. I started investigating him, so I knew what he was doing was protecting you."

Protecting me? Mean what?

"You remember the butler in Baretty's house? Mr. Joshep." I don't remember his name, but clearly remember the figure of the old servant. Obviously I gave a nod. "He was actually my nanny as a kid. He told Leo about the rotten plan, to finish you both off. No details of the grapevine that Mr. Joshep stole from hearing, when you were about to leave the Falcoa residence, so it is not certain the details of the evil plans of my dear cousin."

Holy hooch! I recall. Before we left for the city, Leo said the waiter wanted to tell me something.

Damnit damnit! If I had been more attentive, it would not have been this bad.

"At a downtown restaurant, Leo begins to get suspicious of Mr. Mashet, as his body smells of blood. I don't know how he could do it. Then, as you go to the harbor, Leo's suspicions become more certain, as he sniffs the smell of oil from the jerry cans that Mushet brought. Until you get on board, Leo hears that Baretty ordered a sailor to deliver a message to the hit man."

So, the mastermind of all my misery is the Falcoa distaste! See if I see you later, I'll make him sorry!

The ship's loud wobble slowly subsided. I snuck out the window. The dark storm that had been roaring had changed with the afternoon shade.

Just feeling a little calmness, the sound of footsteps could be heard approaching. Urung I continued the conversation, and was fixated on staring at the door, which really just splashed open.

The fat songong man who had just been annoying, entered while carrying a wooden chair. Behind him, walked firmly a man whose left eye was wearing a cover. From the aura of suppressing the full authority he exuded, dare to bet me if he is the captain of this ship.

From previous experience, I could never get along with a ship captain. Looking at him like that, I was a little bit hoping that he wouldn't get in trouble. Can be thrown in my sea if it happens, as they are pirates who are famous for their cruelty.

"really. It was them" said a young man with copper-colored hair, who entered behind the captain.

A moment! That guy, I remember seeing him!
