[Chapter 19-1] The Huts of the Hunters

Woofy ran with all his might. No matter the wound, it was still gaping due to the fight with the lizards on the edge of the ravine. Continue to drive up to the rickety hut in the middle of the forest. The hunter's shelter may, if it follows Sam's guess.

Woofy immediately turned into a small brown-haired dog, after driving us to this shelter. He staggered closer with a breath of breath. I immediately greeted and carried him in a cage.

"Hey, that's Woofy right!? Is it true that the big wolf is Woofy? Sam!? I'm not dreaming, am I?" kord asked, after his consciousness had completely recovered.

"You want to carry it? Who knows if he'll change again."

Kord immediately shuddered backwards upon hearing my offer. I'm sure he's still traumatized, because he woke up in Woofy's muzzle.

I turned around to approach the girl I now believe is Princess Asaru. Hesitating to stick out his hand to be able to pat her on the shoulder.

She's looking. Instantly I was stunned to look at her sad face and teary-eyed. Keep holding the red bird in the chest, with a vibrating stalk.

"We-we go in first," I asked. Groggily.

Princess Asaru nodded. I held her arm to help her stand up. Rushing the way to open the door of the hut. Let him enter first. Followed by Kord, who still shuddered as he passed in front of me.

The room measures five square meters, with a fireplace filled with soot and these weathered wooden walls are so dirty and damp. Something not meant for a royal princess. As I thought, I saw him sitting on the floor. Not caring about her white dress will get dirty.

The kind of princess. Like the royal princesses in Chiya's favorite Dusni fairy tale.

"Woofy" woofy's weak bark in my arms. He squirmed with the rest of his strength. Maybe ask to be dropped off. I followed his wish and put him on the floor.

Woofy stumbled. I couldn't bear to see it, and thought of helping. However, only a fingertip touched his fur, he barked weakly as if to say, "Not to be helped. I can do it myself."

Either me or Sam. Instantly this heart was filled. Almost tears came off the edge.

Despite having the mighty form of a giant silver wolf, he was still just a weak jolly little dog. He must have fought desperately to survive, then climbed a high cliff to be able to meet and help me in the castle.

Moment passed. Woofy finally arrived near Princess Asaru. He raised his front leg to the fold of the girl's arm that was still cupping Shege the red bird. The little dog barked slowly. Call out.

Princess Asaru turned her head, then lowered her cupped hand until in front of Woofy. The little brown-haired dog licked the bird's wound slowly. It seems that the two are friendly. Like I've known for a long time. Whereas in the past, as far as I know, at the beginning of the meeting the two had a dispute with each other. There is a thought, maybe the two small animals were connected by the magic ascetic Artapatu.

I almost screamed to see Woofy annex the weakly drooping Shege. However, he did not see Princess Asaru's calm demeanor, even after he reviewed Woofy's small body. My voice was stuck in the throat.

"Hey, did the dog eat the bird?" ask Kord, who had already avoided being near Woofy.

"Just calm. Woofy will not taste the flesh of a little bird. He prefers fat and fat prey. Like you," my god. Success makes Kord widen with his mouth gaping.

"Hey, that's right. In seriously? Ta-but Woofy wasn't that greedy, was he?"

"Nothing now." I shifted away while holding back a laugh. A glimpse of Kord's frightened face.

I stood still, not far from where Princess Asaru was. Both looked at the sleeping Woofy curled up the body. Demi can blanket Shege with the warmth of her fur.

I kept quiet for a long time while smiling. Because, to be honest, I just moved on just to be able to stay away from Kord. Avoiding him asked further. Hope to be able to immediately rest in peace, recuperate who is already tired physically and mentally.

"Sam, come!" I refused to respond to the soft call of the dimpled girl. There was a feeling of pleasure because he remembered my name, even if it was only spoken once in a tangled atmosphere.

I approached like I was hypnotized by her sweet smile. Sit next to each other, then freeze. Not knowing what to do or say. Hey, just this time I-also Sam-was in a situation like this. Close to a beautiful royal princess. Without including my experience when I was forced to accompany Chiya to play as a royal princess. And, that sucks!

"Thank you, Sam," he said. Surprised me.

I turned my head, and again found a beautiful face decorated with a smile, which immediately made this mind empty.

"Eh, yeah .. actually me and Kord. Yes, he was my friend since childhood. You know, Your Majesty. That's the fat guy over there. And, uh .. sorry."

He laughed at my nervousness. So crisp, to make her beauty increase tens, maybe even hundreds of times.

"So your friend's name is Kord? She's hilarious. Kord, come join us here," Princess Asaru. Waving hands.

From the end of the room, Kord who had been crouching in fear, raised his head. Responding to Princess Asaru's call. For a moment he was silent digesting the invitation offered. "Oh, i. N-no need. Let ... let me just be here. Yes, I do" replied Kord. Just as nervous as I am.

"Not forced, Princess. He's still traumatized by the incident." I interrupted Princess Asaru's unspoken words. He knew he was going to repeat his call.

Kord stood up, then darted around looking for something until his eyes stopped at the door of the cottage. He then turned his head towards me and took a deep breath before speaking. "Bus ... Princess Asaru. I beg for permission to go out. Anu .. well, get some fresh air, some firewood, and. Excuse me."

I resisted the urge to laugh at Kord's behavior. He looks silly with a pretentious act like that. Funnier by adding the way it runs like a robot, when out of the cottage.

Fortunately, before it went on for a long time, I heard a crunchy clique. Princess Asaru laughed. Perhaps he could not bear to see the ridiculous manner of Kord, which had not long passed. Putting an awkward atmosphere around me.

"I used to freak out like him, too, when my mom told Shege the secret." Princess Asaru smiled bitterly with teary eyes. Unflashing glare at the red bird behind the folds of Woofy's body.

From Sam's memory that suddenly appeared. I learned that the queen died when Princess Asaru was 6 years old. Same as Sam's age at the time. The death of a queen was much loved by her people, but left many questions among the general public, as her death occurred too suddenly.

As I recall-Sam actually. Some say that the queen was murdered. Next time, I heard that some bad guy poisoned her. The most frenzied of the issues circulating is the story about the use. The curse of the wicked witch to the queen on the basis of her malice.

The real answer remains a mystery to this day. Most people believe the last theory. This was due to the king's marriage to a mysterious woman who claimed to be a noble from the opposite kingdom. Only a few months after Princess Asaru's mother's death.

"What should we do next? There's danger waiting out there, while Shege and Woofy are scarred."

I squinted my eyes. Although several times I mentioned the name Woofy, but I think Princess Asaru said her name so familiar. As if you knew before.

"Well, I don't know. I think we can go to Old Man Artapatu's cave. Oh yeah, about ...."

"Hey, do you know where Mr Artapatu lives?" prune Princess Asaru.

"Eh, yeah. I-i know. You know him?"

"Yes. The first time I met him was before my father's wedding to Queen Tirama. Often he came to me to warn me, or to comfort me. The last time I met him was when he told me to carry out this plan. Go to Mother's old castle with Shege's help." She was so excited when she told her story with Artapatu.

"Then Woofy? How do you know him? A-isa ... The artapatu?" my many.

"Yes. A few days after the riot at the parade, Mr. Artapatu came holding Woofy. He introduced her as a little dog who had started a commotion during the parade."

"Eh? Artapatu say ... like that?" Old fucking jackass! Whatdoes thatmean? Why are you even saying that? Hey, why don't you tell me that Shege triggered that string of events because he was convicted of Woofy.

Princess Asaru squinted her eyes. Staring at me sharply. Could he be angry?

"Honest answer! Are you the owner of Woofy?" the princess intrograted with firm intonation.

Die me!

"Yes, eng. Seriously." Unconsciously, I raised one hand. For the sake of covering the scar on the forehead.

Princess Asaru looked at me with squinted eyes. He held back my hand movements. Directing his vision to the forehead that has not been blocked. To where the scar I got when I caught his body.

What other reason should I give then!? Did I just say that I got the wound from fighting? Yeah! That could be a reasonable reason. May he believe.

"The wound was ...."

"Well, that's .. I got ...."

I can't go on with the words. How could I possibly do that, because suddenly Princess Asaru hugged me. Obviously I was surprised and astonished. Instead of giving a slap in return for the carelessness of watching Woofy, why would he do this instead?

"Thank you, thank you," he said repeatedly as he continued to hug me tightly.

Ok, now I'm confused. Since when do people who are made almost wretched even thank you? Well, even though I saved him, it was nothing more than a guilt-redeemer.

"Eh, right, but I ... Woofy's causing chaos at the parade. Well .. although it's a red bird, which Shege might be the trigger."

"Stupid," he said while releasing a hug. She smiled at me for a look then glared with her brilliant green eyes. "The night before the parade, Mr. Artapatu came to me. He told me that someone was going to hurt me at the party, after the parade at the palace."

"She said she'd come up with a plan to save me. Then, as you know. On his orders, Shege made an exchange involving Woofy and you."

I started to slow down, because I started to see bright spots.

"I was thrown off the train was actually out of plan. But luckily you saved me. Precede Mr. Artapatu from issuing his power." Princess Asaru giggled again. Maybe he found it funny. "Well, because of that incident, the party was canceled and I escaped the assassination plot."

I smiled at her hearing her explanation. Some of the lumps in the heart had already come off. Precisely now there is a pride that blooms, because anyway, I am the savior of the princess.

"Gum!"

I said in response to Princess Asaru's story. Be aware that Woofy's growl is a sign of imminent danger. To the extent that the little dog forced to stand even though his body was still weak.

When does all this have to happen? Like there's no tired of the danger eyeing me in this fucking world! Oh God. Please, just give me a minute to breathe.
