Magical Adventure Book
[Chapter 23-1] At the Last Nadir Point

Back when I was in elementary school, Dad asked me about my goals. "What do you want to be when you grow up?" tanyanya.

It doesn't take long to think. I wanted to say that time. Pilots, firemen, programmers, famous artists, or even cool writers like ReKun.

Dad just laughed and ruffled my hair. Not correcting my rant, until finally I myself said, "But it is impossible that I became all that? You have to choose one."

Dad laughed again. This time, I pressed and twirled my cheeks. His habit of being angry with his children. After I brushed his hands off because of his annoyance-hey, who else likes to be squeezed like cake dough so? Well, even though I often do it to Chiya-Dad then says, "Hope and dream as you please, because later when you are more mature, you will know what you really want. That's when you have to fight hard to achieve it."

I believe in my father's advice, though I don't know when the "more mature" time will arrive. But, as he said, "Consider the process, for what you often remember is not the end result, but the process of your struggle to achieve it." I don't fully understand what Dad's words mean. It's just, I'm sure there's nothing wasted in this life.

But it seems I will never be able to get to the "more mature" moment like Dad said. Enjoy the process to be remembered.

Now my body is rigidly petrified on the ground of the forest that has been scorched. Hit by the explosion of a mysterious purple electric plasma ball. Convulsions are consumed by electrical energy that is like a barbed heat whip. It hurt so much to scream and moan I couldn't.

Where did the attack come from? Who did it? Then, what I wanted to find out the most was the condition of Woofy, Shege, Kord and especially Princess Asaru. With a body that is not as strong and as thick as a man. Would he be able to endure the mad agony that ran rampant all over this body?

Oh God. When does this pain last? My heart beats unbecoming. My stomach was going to explode. My brain is empty, but it's constantly racing to send pain signals. My eyes were getting blurry, my nose only smelled of a charred scent. Either sourced from the grass and trees that were struck, or from my own body that began to be roasted. Meanwhile, my ears could only hear the humming of thousands of bees.

Waitaminute! Not just a drone. There was a loud laughter I caught. I don't know where or who. It could be that he's the mastermind behind the electric ball, which leaves us helpless.

I surrender! This pain is beyond the limits of humanity. Just end it now. I beg.

In the next breath, suddenly there was a blinding light covering my blurred vision. The next attack to finish us off?

No. gabe. It didn't seem like it, because I felt the warmth of that white light. Comfortable warmth that relieves pain and burning heat all over the body.

The light was getting closer and brighter, as if descending from the sky. No light burns the skin, or light pierces the eyes. Instead, it recovers slowly. Gentler.

Not long. A strong wind blew my body. All the remaining pain then disappeared, like being swept away by a gust of wind. I felt like I was floating in the air and then lowered gently on the ground.

Calm. Is this heaven? So peaceful and light. No more pain, even the burden in the head was gone without a trace.

"Wake, Son. When are you going to lie there?"

That familiar voice. I know who the owner of that frail yet authoritative voice is. I blinked, then looked back with eyes that had not fully recovered. Artapatu's right there. The thin, white-bearded old grandfather who connected to his thin hair, standing with one hand let out a light stretched forward, and next to him grasped a long stick. The wooden stick at its top widened like a bowl. Contains round stones. Just like cauliflower.

I rise staggered. As much as possible while continuing to blink the eyes of those who see my condition now must think that I have worms. Until the glare that replaced the dark became completely gone.

Momentary. I saw a slender woman in a long purple dress, with black beads glittering like stars adorning. Being bound tightly by the light tendrils coming out of Artapatu's hands. That's the "he" that Artapatu meant.

On his head, strung a crown from green scales like emeralds around the top to the back, decorated with black bird feathers twinkling along a meter that was left dangling. Looks like a peacock.

If you're honest, she's a beautiful woman. Although there was a sinister aura around his pale tyrannical face. His thick eyebrows confirmed the hateful face line. The piggy eyes on his petals grew plump eyelashes, staring intently at the vengeful Artapatu. Meanwhile, her thin lips were bright red, moving for a long time as if she was casting a spell.

"Wait any more, son? Hurry over! I've been tired of holding him." He said while growling.

I'm streaking. Towards Princess Asaru who was still lying on the forest floor. My steps are broken. My breath's wheezing. At his side I dropped. Be together.

"Daughter, Princess Asaru," call me.

His eyes closed, and his mouth sank. As if I wanted to say something, but I couldn't. Still weak. Her spirit hasn't gone back, if you say Mama.

"Daughter, hold on to me. I'll take you away." It seems my request was heard. He raised his hand, which I immediately grabbed to put on my neck. Carry him away.

If you say Aunt Ema, it is rude to talk about women's weight. But, to be honest, Princess Asaru's body was so light. I with Sam's body can easily carry it even though it is not in the right fit condition.

Pyars!

Waves of light struck us who were on the run. Penetrating my body by leaving a warm air.

"W-what happened?" princess Asaru asked with a faint eye. He was awakened by the light wave.

"That's ... The artapatu." I answered as if.

Princess Asaru's eyes widened wide with a radiant expression full of relief. He pushed his head through my body. Instantly, in that gripping silent atmosphere, a tinge of startled sounds choked out from his mouth.

Huh!? Wh why? Is something wrong?
