[Chapter 44-1] Grief City

The dark clouds are coming back. Comes together, with roaring flashes of light. It only happens outside the city walls. Not one bit touched the imaginary circle connected by the light pillars in the eight directions.

Jdar!

Lightning snatched alternately from the clouds around the outside of the city. Seen giant lizards towering with weapons outstretched and the body coated with armor. Don't ask about a lizard the size of a human. Without even being seen, from the sound of his screeches I believe they number in the thousands. Not only that. A new species also appeared there. Hundreds of winged lizards with trident as their weapons. It flew around the entire outer corner of the city that was bounded by towering walls.

Duars!

One big lightning bolt struck. It felt like a strong earthquake was driven by a shift in the ground. Justright. Far in the front of the city, slowly towering steps of land and rocks that became the throne of the witch Mitara. From there, he stared at us hatefully. Piercing up to the liver, and freezing through the bone marrow.

The whole city was terrified. Many victims fell. Injuries, disabilities, to death. More than half of the population died. Not a few material and non-material losses suffered by the people. Destroyed homes and property, also lost loved ones.

Floods of blood and tears after the vengeful onslaught of Mitara. The city was chaotic, and almost riots broke out. Especially when word spread that the king had died. He was found lying in the wreckage of the train, with the condition of the entire body burning. Stung by a large electric shock. Taking lives in terrible circumstances.

The city is tinged with despair. The souls of men groan in pain, caused by the pain of loss, the terror of fear, and the height of anger, which mingles with the mind. At that crucial moment, the red-cheeked angel blushed down with the dragon. Giving a new glimmer of hope to those who are in mourning.

As soon as it came down from Shege's shoulders, without further ado, Princess Asaru immediately issued an order, like a royal princess. Although I knew in the corner of his heart there was sadness over his father's death.

He was clearly a genuine leader, who was quick to give directions to the crowd, about what to do and do. More than that, he even took to the field himself to treat and help the injured population.

All work, including me who was originally with Artapatu. Down the road leading to somewhere that will somehow end where. Just following the steps of the powerful.

In the middle of the deserted road - there was only debris strewn about - the Asaru Princess managed to find us. In that instant, he threw himself towards the old man. Hysterical crying is gone. The taps of sadness of the princess who was held back by the soul of her leadership, poured out in the arms of Artapatu. He was like a boy in the arms of his loving father.

Not too long ago the scene that made me misbehave, because being near them took place. At a glance, Princess Asaru began to beg that accompanied by a little coercion. Asking Artapatu to allow me to help evacuate the victims. With a heavy heart, Artapatu finally granted the princess' request.

I went to accompany Princess Asaru's footsteps. Once I glanced at Artapatu in the grasshopper-before he did his disappearing act again. On the wrinkled face it is clearly visible there is a murat of disrelief. I don't know why.

The task of rescue I admit is very heavy. It is not a matter of burden being lifted, because Woofy and Shege are on standby to help in order to give help. The burden I'm referring to is when you feel guilty seeing the victim go down. Women, men, old, young, even toddlers in his mother's arms.

Deep down, I felt the sting of thorns of guilt. Realize, if the disaster in Capitor City, it could happen because of my mistake. I was too wishful to decide to immediately attack, causing Mitara to freely unleash her power. Destroy the city following the population.

If only, when the duel between Mog and Arson took place, I rushed to the carriage and carried out the arrangement. Save the king who is now sprawled without life, to then mow down Mitara with the power of Woofy and Shege. Of course, none of this needs to happen.

From looters level up to heroes. Well, it's a bit awkward and uncomfortable to hear, but it's better than the accusations at the beginning of our meeting.

Usut got a mouth. The change in attitude was apparently started from the incident in the forest. He decided to go alone following in Arson's footsteps, despite knowing there was a great danger to be faced.

His intention was purely because it was driven by curiosity. Searching for the truth about Princess Asaru and the dragon, follows a giant silver wolf who suddenly appears to interrupt the hunt.

After a winding journey, Mog gets there when Arson tries to kill me with his purple-pound sword. He also saw Kord who was sprawled with a wound in the stomach.

The incident plastered there, made him guess who did it. I was said to be a good friend of the young man, or Arson who he knew was an authoritative noble. Mog, therefore, was worried about taking the decision to side with whom.

He kept hesitating in hiding. Until the lightning that gave rise to the lizard demons began to strike. He was trembling in fear. Cold sweat pouring down, see the flash that burns the retina, and hear thunder boils like tearing the eardrum.

Without thinking again, after the rain of lightning struck the earth, Mog immediately fled in a storm. Not willing to waste the opportunity to run away from the horrors of evil magic. Unfortunately, in the middle of the road he was ambushed by four lizards. A heavy fight happened. Not only because of the number, but also the weapons that are not qualified. His sword was already broken at the time of the dragon attack on the castle.

Part of the fear, Mog told me in a whispering voice. Do not want to be heard by others, especially his men. In fact, if you want to be honest, what he feels is a natural thing. Who is not afraid when they see creepy monsters emerge from lightning strikes.

At the last nadir, Artapatu came to save his life. The lizard demon was wiped out, with just a single swing of the hand emitting a white light. They went extinct in the blink of an eye.

After performing his amazing heroic stunt, Artapatu has Mog rush off. Honey, before he could get around to admiring the prowess of the powerful, he said - an electrically charged plasma attack came off. Scramble and grab himself. And, for the second time Artapatu saved the muscular man. Resuscitate him before the death.

Doesn't stop there. Mog who is curious about the figure of the old hermit, try to follow after his strong large body was invited to move. Not ignoring Artapatu's orders and prohibitions.

While trying hard to resist fear, Mog continues to explore the former fierce battle of the magic ascetic, and his opponent is no less great. Until finally one big bang he saw from a distance. A dazzlingly powerful explosion, whose echoes of strength were able to sweep away the collapsed forest around.

That was the moment where Artapatu and Mitara collided forces that ended the series. They were both slammed far away, with severe injuries as pay.

Mog rushes to save Artapatu who is unconscious on the ground. Take him in a sling to a small cave in the middle of the forest. Care for him painstakingly until the old man regained his senses.

Long story short, it was from that hiding place that he heard about all the truth from Artapatu's mouth. A concrete fact that he could not deny at all. As a result, the Mog asked to join the Capitor kingdom's rescue mission.

Ah, crap! Had we known Mog's intentions from the start. Of course, none of this needs to happen!
