Magical Adventure Book
[Chapter 51-2] No Choice

Obviously, why did they pick us up. I remember, the copper-haired man was the young man who visited Pud'e's residence, the day I was arrested by the Velbar officers.

Surely the man who stood leaning against the wall next to the door, had a relationship with Pud’e.

Still I'm flabbergasted. The Fatty had moved all the way to the middle of the room, in order to prepare the chair he was carrying. Allow the oval-faced man to sit. I'm sure he's the captain of this ship.

The robe that was draped on his shoulders, he flicked before sitting firmly on the chair. His eyes looked at us one by one. It was as if it was trying to penetrate deeply into the recesses of the heart.

I goosebumps when I have to meet with those yellow eyes.

"Who among you holds the key to the lost continent?" The yellow-eyed man said with great authority.

I don't know the meaning and direction of the conversation, but I'm guessing it must be related to the wooden box that Yenz has.

"If Captain Hovler asks, you must answer him, wretched!" the fat man snapped, after a long time of silence.

Yenz stood up while holding onto his shoulder. "None of us has it." The fool replied in a defiant tone. Replying directly to the pirate captain's gaze.

I smell trouble starting to waft. Damn ranum's lips, why so stubborn as to hold the wooden box? We are in an unfortunate position.

"How dare you!" The Fatty drew his sword, and pointed it before the neck of Yenz.

I obviously didn't stay silent. At exactly the same second, I stood up and pulled out the two pistols at the waist. Pointing it to the Fatty, and the captain of the ship he held dear.

Banging us in precarious positions threaten each other. Actually it was just me and Fatty, while Yenz, Captain Hovler, and the copper-haired man remained unchanged, unaffected by the menacing atmosphere of the loaded weapon.

Oh yea. Let's forget for a second about Jamet. Believe it or not, he was still sleeping. Like they are hibernating.

"I don't believe your words, but I'm confident in the information Pud’e and Baba Ruska gave me. Explain what you mean!"

Without shifting, Yenz spoke up. "In the residence of the governor of Velbar. The key was taken by Falcoa and Sando. I couldn't take it back, and was shot in the shoulder. The thing you're looking for is now in their hands." He took off the seedy cloth bag at the shoulder counter, and put it on the sword of the Fatty. "Check if you don't believe."

"Give me that bag, Daff!" captain Hovler's orders, which the fat man immediately obeyed.

We were silent for a moment as the one-eyed captain checked the contents of the bag of Yenz, who as I recall, had never been off his side.

Yenz did not answer. He approached, then held and pressed slowly on my shoulder. A sign that I take down the outstretched revolver.

Yenz walked to the center of the room, and sat leaning under the window of the ship. Stare with the one-eyed captain. A faint grimace while placing yourself there.

"I already know where the destination is going. A place that Barrety's group would know, too, right after he found out how to use the key he took from me. Sooner or later." Yenz took a breath. "I only need a complete map of the southern region, to be able to ascertain where the exact points are from the direction indicated."

"If it were just that, you'd get it later" the Captain said.

Yenz chuckles. "Then do you think I'll tell you?"

The tense atmosphere returned to the kingdom. Clearly, Yenz intimidated the captain, for some purpose. He forgot where we are?

The Captain of One Eye laughed. Not provoked Yens intimidation. "You refuse, however, only we can escort you across the fierce southern seas."

Glare. I saw Yenz's lips move. Definitely upset. Understand me, he was trying to negotiate something, but unfortunately failed before it was done.

"What do you want by coming there? Before you get disappointed, I'll tell you now. You're wasting your time trying to find treasure there."

"It looks like you already know the place, huh. Good, it means my efforts are not in vain. Unfortunately, your guess is wrong. Not the treasure I was looking for. You just need to get me there. Next, what do you want to do."

The strictness of the red-haired Captain, made Yenz speechless. Realize me, if what he said was not kidding.

A moment later, he got up from the chair, and left us without a word. Accompanied by the young man with copper hair, and his tailed lackey carrying a chair. Leaving us after the fat one looked at me cynically while grunting.

"Yinz! Explain to me!" call me driven by curiosity.

"Later, Marg. Until the right time, I will tell you. Now I want to rest, to heal this wound."

We sat without blinking. I am obviously not satisfied with the answer. No matter if you have to fight again like in Lapalasa, because it has come so far, of course it becomes my problem as well. Because, I thought the plot in this damned book, wanted me to get to the lost continent.

"What are you guys doing? Is it time to eat?" leo, who just woke up. Breaking the tension, which led to the mood to quarrel with the Lambe Kemayu.
