Magical Adventure Book
[Chapter 9-1] Uncute Jokes

"When do you want to fall asleep, young man?"

Summarize that question, wake me back up. At the same time activates nerve pain throughout the body. Sores, bruises, and pains in the head, throbbing painfully every time I take a breath.

"Eat this. Your body will get better later." The wrinkled hand forcefully opened my mouth and tried to insert something I didn't know. I don't know, because it's still so hard to open my eyes.

A lump of soft object such as porridge, crammed into the mouth. I was shocked because it tasted so bitter. Makes me really want to spit it out. Honey, those skinny hands have already smothered me.

The scars are so strong. I am the one who is falling limp, clearly not the power to resist. Even I'm sure, even in good health, it still won't be able to let go. I don't know what kind of magic that skinny bearded grandpa has.

After a long struggle to resist, I finally gave up. That disgusting thing smoothly slid through the throat. It caused nausea that forced my stomach contents to come out.

At least in the first few seconds. Next, I felt a warm air flowing down my body. Relieves pain in wounds and pain in the ankles as well as the head.

It's magical! Now I can open my eyes without any trouble. Moves for a while to get used to the vision that is still blurred and somewhat swaying.

Exactly as I thought. The one who stopped me from taking drugs was Artapatu. The Old Grandfather Sakti who gave the briefing up to the Silent Valley. Maybe he saved me from that giant wolf.

"Thank you" I said, lifting my body.

It was then that I felt a strong gust gushing at the nape. I slowly turned my head to look at the source of the cold wind.

"Wrench!" A large silver-furred muzzle salad behind me.

Instantly this body rippled. Seeing the giant wolf standing there with its sharp eyes glaring at me. I jumped to my feet. Run as fast as possible, to get away from him.

"Help me, Artapatu," I asked expectantly.

Instead of helping, the old man laughed at me. Whatdoes thatmean?

I took a step, then looked. The old man looked up next to the giant wolf, who was already curled up casually. Put the head on top of both of its front legs, which are stacked cross-legged. Relax, even though Artapatu stroked his hairy head.

***

Welcome to goa Artapatu. A five-star residence with complete facilities. At least for the size of a cave.

Shaped a large dome, with the shoots there is a large collection of stalactites that glow brightly. Just like a lamp. In fact, the intensity of the light can be regulated at will through whistling. Just Artapatu's whistling, because no matter how I tried to whistle following him, the stone lamp remained unmoved.

There was a medium-sized pool that I used to take a shower. The water is clear, coming from the rock crevice above it. Flowing continued unceasingly, yet it did not make the pool overflow at all.

On the wall, there are niches with various functions. Starting from the straw to the bed - as I now live - a bread-burning furnace, a storage cabinet of goods and food, and a large hole that became the nest of the giant silver wolf.

I honestly want to curse old Artapatu on the silver wolf. But what power, because actually half the tragedy was my fault.

The wolf turns out to be Artapatu's pet - though he prefers to call her pal - whom he assigned to pick me up. Just in case I don't have time to get into the valley before the full moon, or experience unwanted events, so my journey is hampered.

His intentions were good, and I thank him for his attention. But, at least he told me before sending the monster to see me! Hey, who wouldn't be scared if they met a creepy creature like that? Meanwhile, there were rumors of man-eating monsters inhabiting the Lonely Valley.

My biggest mistake was in the spontaneous act of throwing stones at silver wolves. Obviously he was angry. Although Artapatu said, his friend would not reply by tearing me apart, because he knew and understood his duty.

Hey, but he's probably chewing on me!

Until now I still have goosebumps, especially if I look into the hole where it resides. Thought he held a grudge, then annexed me while sleeping. But, the funny thing is, on the other hand, I feel like I've been getting pushed around and stroking her, ever since Artapatu tried to introduce her to me. I don't know why, but the silver wolf was not cute in the least.

I don't know, even the storage I don't know. Whether it's in Artapatu's bag - then he'll take it out like a robot cat - or maybe it's in a silver wolf's den. I hope it's not the last.

Ah already. There's no point thinking about that. It's better to sleep now, because Artapatu has promised to give me that weapon tomorrow, when my condition has recovered.

***

"Again!?" I said as I gawked at the green porridge bundle inside the stone bowl that Artapatu was thrusting. That's the thing he stuffed in my mouth yesterday.

He nodded with a smile. "Is the brave hero afraid to eat this less bitter medicine?"

Your face is not so bitter!

Out of all the food and medicine that ever entered my mouth, that disgusting thing was the most inhuman bitterness! Even my grandmother's yellow herbal medicine - which my mother gave me when I was seriously ill - wasn't as scary as it felt.

"Well, but right, that's .. My body has healed from the wound. Look, look." I stuck out my hand that was no longer hurt, and took various poses to show that I was okay.

"All right then. It's just, you should stay here a little longer. So that your body is really ready to continue the adventure. That magic weapon I'll keep longer means."

Goddamnit! Then when will I be here? Not necessarily the only weapon that can defeat the dragon. What happens if I don't finish the story in this book? Stuck forever into a poor farmer with a house near a fishy fish market? I don't want to!

I took the stone bowl from Artapatu's wrinkled hands. Holding his breath so as not to smell that disgusting medicinal scent. I try hard to strengthen my heart to eat it.

Hap!

As fast as lightning I put it in my mouth.

Stone bowls I throw carelessly, in order to smother the mouth with both hands. Restraining that my desire to spit it out was not accomplished.

Damn it, Artapatu even chuckled at my suffering. I wanted it to feel like I was hitting him. But, there's no way I can do it. Because, in addition to not deserving of the rude treatment of a sepuh, I also remembered how Kord was dropped without a fight by him.

I ran towards the pool. As soon as possible raise your head in the torrential stream of pouring water. Forcing the clot to enter through the esophagus. It worked!

I sat down with breath breathing at the edge of the pool. I felt relieved that this obstacle could be passed successfully.

"Why are you running like that, young man? I prepared drinking water for you. Haha." Walked toward me.

I looked at the old man with my eyes splashed. Really upset, for feeling played. But, what is my day against his ridiculous act!?

"I swallowed it. Now, tell me where the gun is, Grandpa?"

"Why should you hurry? Relax for a moment here. I'll tell you an interesting story while we enjoy breakfast. A piece of bread, cheese and grilled fish is certainly a great treat to enjoy before you start your adventure again."

I looked at him sharply. Maybe he'll take me out to eat after making me swallow that disgusting thing. My hunger has been gone since it was filled with it.

"Ckckk. You young people. Never the patience to face anything." Artapatu turned his body. "To continue the journey, you must go out through a hole in the wall, where my friend lives. There, too, I kept a magic weapon to complete your mission."

"What!?" I gawk. The worst possibility was actually realized.

"Buddy, come out!"
