Magical Adventure Book
[Chapter 5-1] Before Heading to the Top of the Hill

I used to have a little anjhing named Woofy. I found it in the market with a dirty and scarred body. Only by themselves without a mother protecting. Kara sebang.

Dad let me keep it, after I whined all day. Assisted by the mother who thinks that the small brown fur anjhing can be used to keep our farm when it is grown.

I'm glad I didn't get upset when Dad gave me permission, even half-heartedly. So did Woofy who did not stop moving his tail because of pleasure.

Like a seven-year-old boy, I play with him almost every day. Sometimes Kord comes along, even though he's not very fond of anjhing. I am happy because of our togetherness.

At least until that time. When the royal festival is held to celebrate the establishment of the Capitor kingdom, which is held every year.

The celebration was held festively with the royal procession as the opening. I don't want to miss watching the celebration either. What else does Kord say if there is a distribution of honey candy during the event. All I finally know is the fucking lie.

I took Woofy in a sling there. Breaking through the sea of humans snaking along the main road of the kingdom. Cheers as the entertainers perform on the road in the front lane, which is overshadowed by the control of soldiers in armor.

Halfway through, the figure of the entertainers with her makeup on had already disappeared. Replacing completely with a riding warrior who carries a large spear as a weapon.

Not without reason the escort is getting tighter. Because, behind them was a beautiful flower-striped carriage pulled by a pair of white horses. The vehicle of the Capitor royal princess named Asaru, who if Kord said, the princess was as pretty as a cheese tart at Madam Fonte's shop. Somehow he compares.

I was waiting for the train to pass. It wasn't because of the drive as a guy, because obviously I wasn't in puberty at the time. Merely just because of a ridiculous bet to prove the words of Kord that I think is too late.

My eyes focused on watching the carriage approaching. So unaware of the presence of a small red-furred bird, who somehow due to what impulse, began to peck Woofy in my arms.

The bird's disgust caused Woofy to be upset, so he jumped off the sling. In order to chase the red bird, he broke through the sidelines of the residents' feet and began to cause a commotion. Not to be left behind, I also chased after Woofy in a panic.

The peak of the chase occurred when the train was right near us. The little bird glided fiercely in front of the Princess's pair of chariot-prawn horses. Causing both to soar in shock.

All became more runyam, because Woofy jumped, for the sake of trying to hit the red-furred bird. Not the target prey he got, Woofy actually pounced on the body of the white horse. Makes her soar more wild from the pain.

Arakarakan become a waste not because of. The spectators fled from the horse's rampage which spread to other horses. I who was in the middle of the sea of man was adrift and almost doomed because of it. Fortunately I managed to break through to the middle of the road.

Well, not entirely luck anyway. Because, without realizing it, I was in the middle of the chaos. With an innocent mind looking for Woofy who might still be trying to chase the red bird.

The Princess's carriage missed her hook from a pair of towing horses. It slammed hard past the front of my nose.

Brak!

The train hit the wall of the house. The door plunged open due to the resulting impact momentum. Next, a flurry of white-robed figures were thrown out.

Without a second thought, I immediately ran to greet him. Stretch out your hands and put up the horses in order to catch a figure that will land hard on the ground layered with rocks.

Bruk!

Kord lost a landslide! Let alone the cheese tart in Madam Fonte's shop. Even if the best cakes that existed in the entire kingdom were put together, it had not been able to match the beauty of Princess Asaru.

"A-a .. k-ka-you .... To-please ...." At first glance we sat.

His speech stopped without me ever knowing what it was going on, due to Woofy's barking back while wagging his tail, with his mouth caught in a few strands of red fur. Maybe he managed to pounce on the little bird.

Holding Woffy in a tight embrace, I moved as fast as I could. I deliberately bowed my head while covering my nose with one hand. For the sake of holding back dizziness and nosebleeds, also hope this face is not recognized. At that time I thought, maybe the princess knew that I was the one who made a series of events that ended in disaster. It could be that he was about to scream for help for the royal guard to arrest me. If that happens, then it would be a death sentence for my family.

I got slapped and slapped by dad. Scolded from day to night. He who also watched the parade, apparently also saw how the act of Woofy which became the beginning of the riot.

Fear of families being hit by reinforcements. That night I threw Woofy out of nowhere. I can't turn it down, being aware of our family's life as a bet.

The right steps have been taken by father, because the next day, the royal soldier came to the house of every villager to look for the boy who owns the brown anjhing. And we escaped the death penalty that Woofy might have imposed. Although, sometimes I still feel that sometimes the little anjhing visits me.

***

That's the kind of dream I had last night. It's not purely my dream, because it comes from Sam's memories. The character I currently play in the middle of nowhere in my cousin's curse book.

A little bit I can already understand Sam's storyline. About his story with Princess Asaru, and his destiny to become a savior knight. That's least. Such cheap stories in games or movies do not sell. The story is too forced.

Oh yes, I hope the plot of the story in this book can be like in the game. Because that way, whichever path I take, it will come to the rescue of the princess.

However, I do not regret refusing Kord's invitation to join Arson's royal entourage. The decision was purely my choice because it was my wish. While still playing with the choices I would take, I saw for myself how arrogant and peculiar the nature of the nobility was. Just like the new rich.

For Kord it might not be a problem, but not with me. A trait like the one that Yugo, the upperclassman at school, has that I don't like the most.

Be me now adventuring alone towards the place Artapatu told me about. Towards the desolate valley that was in the West of the city of Tres. Opposite the direction of the majority of the contestants who took the southern route, to arrive at the village of Fugal.

Honestly, even though there are still doubts about the direction of the powerful beggar Artapatu, but if you follow the game storyline, then this path is the best to take.

In the afternoon after making a bonfire. I rested under a large tree, while spending the provision of the innkeeper. He said it was a bonus because it had helped them serve enslaved guests, even though the wages given were only three pieces. Cut costs for staying and eating.

From a distance I saw a green hill that exuded a haunted aura. Lojom Hill, the gateway to the Lonely Valley. A haunted place with man-eating monsters as its inhabitants. That's how I heard it.

Dumb indeed. However, if there are stored weapons dragon conqueror, for the sake of completing this story, then there is no choice but to enter it.

Hopefully the weapons in question are two legendary weapons as Kord thought. I also hope big tomorrow, everything can go smoothly, without having me be a snack of monsters that are there.

Hope so. Hopeful.
