[Chapter 49-1] Towards the Battle of Determination

Without anyone noticing, I slipped past the pointed-toothed wooden beam fence. It was difficult to pass through those layered barricades, moreover they were all mounted dead by harboring their bottoms on the ground.

Good thing Sam's body is athletic, so I can jump over the blocks that are tied tightly across it. Although somewhat horrified also saw the pointed tip right in front of my face.

Apart from the layered barricades, I ran small in the company of Shege and Woofy. Breaking through the ruins of the city which was only illuminated by the remaining curvature of moonlight. Not much help. I stumbled a few times and almost fell.

I did a short night trip today, solely for the sake of finding a hidden place. As much as possible away from the attention of the people gathered in the palace. I mean, just so they don't freak out seeing Shege and Woofy change. Fearfully, the citizens and fighters will think, I did it because there is a danger coming.

All of this was actually driven by curiosity after hearing Kord's reply. There's something I want to make sure and dig deeper. About the taste I got while riding them. Plus Woofy's magical behavior at the stables.

We arrived at a large place, with some walls still standing around it. Damaged, but at least able to cover our existence here. Obstructing people's eye view of the magical phenomenon during the change, follows the giant figure of both after that.

"Change you, but do it calmly" I asked, to the two of them standing before.

Both responded well to the orders I gave. In just a second, their bodies transformed into lumps of glowing feathers, and whirlpools with red strands swirled within them. To the end, it changed into the figure of a giant silver wolf, and a red scaly dragon pomegranate. All done without making any noise.

They are moving slowly towards me. He thrust his head as both hands lifted. Moving forward to be able to touch each other.

In my left hand I felt a soft strand of tickling feathers, on my right palm I touched a pile of slippery scales. However, the two of them both oozed a warm calmness. It passes through the pores.

I keep on absorbing all that. Let it spread even deeper. Sending it opens up every bulkhead and cavity that is in the body. It penetrates into each brain wrinkle, also mixing with blood and oxygen particles that are pumped. Letting that feeling completely blend with me.

Grapevine. I felt a shock coming from within. The attraction that finally brought our souls together. Me and them, the haswa.

I felt a sagging junta that blocked the night breeze directly onto the skin. And I also found cavities in the body that were warm bubbling.

A second later, I closed my eyes. What I found was not dark. Nighttime panorama around the visible. One side is like the vision using infrared glasses, on the other hand so bright, as if there is a floodlight that illuminates.

Aware me. It turns out our souls are fused. Share the same taste and power. I was Shege and Woofy at the same time. So do they.

I took off the touch of a hand on both of them's heads. A big smile looked at him in turn, until I finally laughed with satisfaction. Discovering easter egg - a kind of hidden-like secret - really gives its own satisfaction. An addition of features that are tucked away and look not too important. However, I am sure, this will mean a lot in the war later.

My body is limp, because these legs are beginning to tremble. Lemas support my weight by myself. It fell helplessly, which, fortunately, swiftly contained the soft long tail of Woofy. Makes me not just fall into the ground scattered a lot of debris.

I'm limp, like I've put out a lot of energy. Perhaps the effect of uniting with the two of them simultaneously, plus fatigue after experiencing a lot of tension at the beginning, which is still continued evacuation and preparation for war.

Ah, no need to take a headache. I'm sure by resting for a while, my energy will recover. After all, with this, our chances of winning will be even greater.

A new night sets. A burst of dawn light, the recalcitrant broke through the barricade of black clouds from the east of the horizon. We, the entire battle power of the Capitor kingdom, have prepared to take up arms. Stand by in the position specified. Waiting for the eight pillars that have begun to dim it to disappear. The end of protection that Artapatu sought. A sign for us to start a great battle, the determinant of the fate of this continent.

The roar of breath, and our heartbeats flow in synergy. Simultaneously pumping the spirit, until it feels clearly in the ear, like an orchestral symphony that echoes in a spacious theater building.

"You ready, Hero?" ask Mog who is standing next to me.

"You don't want to" I answered briefly. Holding tightly a sword and an iron shield, which was either necessary or not.

"Hahaha .. relax, we will always accompany you with all our might. Until this final drop of blood, we'll make sure you get to the witch's throne" Mog boasted as he patted her chest overlaid with a mail-passion chain made from a small chain link.

"You're sure you're just carrying that sword?" I glanced at the sheathed sword hanging from my waist. The sword he wore yesterday against Arson. The only weapon he had.

"Very sure. It is not a matter of the number of weapons to win a battle, but the skill in using them. This one best sword is enough, let alone already blessed by Mr. Artapatu." Mog pulled a swarm of his sword. A white light glow emanated from there.

Well, like a chord placed on the back. Wearing full armor covering his body, following the sword and the large shield, which he held tightly from the start. But I'll bet, the weapon won't really be useful in his hands .

Remind me, the events were frustrating when in Goa at that time?

I turned to look at it. There he was chatting with Princess Asaru. It looks cool even though behind the iron helmet his face is already flooded with sweat. I was a little envious, because from the moment we gathered here, the girl did not greet me at all. Even seem to avoid. I don't know why, even though I feel like I didn't do anything wrong to him.

Time continued to creep by for sure, without waiting for me to find the answer to the strange princess's attitude. Took us to the end of the great gate of battle, which began to swing open.

The light of the eight pillars began to shrink. Arakan black clouds decorated with lightning strikes began to dare to enter the city area. Prolonged creeping, trying to cover the still dim sunlight radiating on the horizon.

"Prepare!" The orders of each post leader sounded simple. Craning around the palace, before it ended heard when the Mog next to me also shouted it.

Woofy, who had been standing next to me, with Shege perched on his head, began to lower his posture. Bend all four small feet with claws sticking out while growling softly. Know he's a great danger is coming soon.

"Grow!" The screams were heard all around the city. The lustful sound of killing that came out from the stealth muzzle of the lizard, Mitara's subordinate.

We get winded hearing it. Banging hard on the guts that the fighters have been fertilizer strong since last night. Almost made him fall out.

The eight pillars of light finally disappeared without a trace. In a flash, a mass of black clouds began to cover the sky above us. Perfectly enveloped the entire Capitor kingdom with darkness. Only a flash of lightning in the sky, and the light of the torch around which was now a light in the midst of the darkness gripped.

The shrieks of the lizards were thrown, mixed with the roar of shaking the continental landmass.

From a distance we saw how the human-sized lizard demon, breaking down the gate, to climb and jump the city walls. Passing through that high barrier without any significant difficulty.

Even more terrifying, when the group of winged lizards, fly in groups following the herd below. The striking lightning bounced off the sharp end of his trident. Feels pierced with a thunderclap through the heart.

All that is still added terror hordes of giant lizards. With a pair of saber swords as big as the roof of the house, which was swiped and pitted deliberately. It creates discordant sounds, like the sound of a death angel.

Blars!

The sturdy wall that had been guarding the City of Capitor for hundreds of years was finally destroyed. The reeds were saddled with the mass of hundreds of stealthy iron-clad lizards, which were followed by a giant girth of green scaly legs.

All happened to follow each other around the kingdom. Rebah all the rock arrangement until it becomes dusty gravel. Crushed in the legs of the bloodthirsty assailants were not humane.

"Assault's coming!" the archers shouted in the towers, to the palace balconies.

The lizards stormed into the city. They hit from all directions, like the catastrophic sweep of a tsunami wave. Throw down buildings that block its speed, until it falls unceremoniously. Keep moving forward towards the palace, where we are. Trying to hold on to a thin thread of hope, which Artapatu left me.

"Form!" Again the orders of the leaders were heard. The outer layer moved forward three steps with the outstretched weapon. There were tense pias faces there. The mixed expression between fear and anger mingled one.

I who was in the front line moved forward. Going further than them, with Woofy and Shege, our main force. The human race in the Suno Continent.

"In this war, rampage as much as you do! Rabat runs out of lizards, and try not to let anyone approach the palace court. We won this war, my friend!"

Woofy was wagging his tail without turning his head - full concentration to the opponent who was about to arrive - while Shege flew around me, to finally perch on the shoulder.

The three of us quietly looked far ahead. Trying to welcome the arrival of bloodthirsty enemy troops. Trying to plug the footing so as not to recede, even though the lightning eyes of the lizards look smoldering. Burning hunger slaughter.

Now or not at all. This is the ultimate battle in the cursed book of Tama's giving!

"Woofy, Shege!" Tucked away hope for victory in my strangulation.
