[Chapter 26-1] The Wise Sage of the Dark Jungle

They went outside the city after killing all ten soldiers without any remains. Not out of fear, but driven out by angry residents. For the actions of the two brothers can bring disaster to the city of Rucil, which has become a colony of the Domglar kingdom.

They walked away with a wedge in their heart. Not afraid of being fugitives from the neighboring kingdom, but due to dissatisfaction from the retaliation they did.

Indeed the cause of their mother's death was the ten soldiers they had killed. However, the mastermind of all that was the despot king of the Domglar kingdom. He was the one who gave the order to carry out the attack. To the territory of the neighboring kingdom, including to their residence.

Desperate to escape, Tura was intent on visiting the castle where the despotic king was. Sneaking in to kill the ruler of the Domglar kingdom. Whatever happens.

"You're crazy, brother! What would you do if you were caught infiltrating with the intent of killing the king? Hundreds, even thousands of soldiers will simultaneously attack and kill you." Pata tried to obstruct Tura's reckless intentions, "After all, didn't you hear that the despot had the jewel of lazarus? Legendary stone with great power, which Dav used to rule this continent before being defeated by Gav and Val."

"You believe the story of the thumb suction to scare such a boy!?"

"Then explain how can the Turamp royal palace be destroyed without a trace? Just leave a wide crater where it used to stand?"

Tura was silent at the fact that they had seen with her own eyes. A few days ago, while dodging Domglar's soldiers.

"Then what should it be?" murmuring Tura.

They were silent for a long time, then slept without a word under the roof of the night sky, until the new moon was directly overhead. When Tura awoke from her dream which contained flashes of memory.

"We're looking for two legendary weapons, which Val and Gav used to defeat Dav!" sura's proposal, after waking up Pata.

"Where? Hundreds of years people searched, and never found it. Never mind, think of another way that makes the most sense, before interrupting the sleep of others."

"How wise! We return to the Dark Jungle to ask him! I'll bet he knows where the gun is. He had lived a long time, and knew many things that others did not know."

Pata nodded in agreement, though in the depths of his heart hesitated. However, his brother's optimism kindled a small hope worth trying.

At dawn, they went to return to the kingdom where he used to live. A long journey of tens of kilometers. Their only intention was one, to meet the wise hermit, who had helped the two while dying after killing the forest guard giant bear.

Desperation returned to their minds. In the dense forest with many ferocious beasts and realms, there were already three days of them trying to find the hermit. However, a small trace of it they could not find, even though the entire forest they had explored.

"Follow me!" A speck of firefly light shimmered before them. Slow down the sound penetrates the sense of hearing.

Without hesitation, Tura and Pata followed the orders of the voice they had come to know. A frail voice, yet in full dignity. Belongs to the recluse.

The path that the little fireflies lead is not easy. Full aral forest obstacles no man's jungle, in the middle of the pitch-black paralyzed netra. Several times, the two brothers fell or hit a tree trunk during the trip. Following the fireflies that continued to fly glided without any intention of waiting. Until finally they stepped over the steep descending path that led up to the bright cave in the form of a dome. The place where the hermit was sitting cross-legged waiting for them.

"What are you looking for?" ask the ascetic without further ado.

"How to defeat the despotic king. Using two legendary weapons, which used to belong to Gav and Val," Tura replied. Assertively.

The ascetic breathed a disappointed breath. "I thought you guys wanted to meet me. To simply thank you, or accompany this old man in conversation."

"Eh, yes ... We mean ...," Pata tried to mediate the conversation that was going on, but the ascetic's laughter made him speechless.

"Haha. I know what you're looking for. Revenge for your mother's death." He stood up with one stomp. It is very light as a feather. "After the vengeance has come, what will you do? Because, once the revenge paid off, your lives will no longer be the same. Two bachelors living peacefully at the bottom of a small valley."

Pata and Tura were silent for a long time. Unable to answer the question of the wise ascetic. Until Tura finally raised her head. With unblinking eyes he said, "Somewhat will happen. All we want now is justice. Retaliation for the atrocities they committed."

"Yes, recluse. After all, had the despotic king been left alone, there would have been much to suffer." Pata reinforced her brother's argument.

The wise ascetic laughed. "As you know, the jewel of Lazarus not only gives strength, but also a curse that pollutes the heart of its owner. Makes them full of ambition. In fact, the evil gem has a lure that ensures itself to continue to be owned and used. Spreading the evil stored in it." A heavy sigh came out from his mouth, "Your thoughts are still very narrow. Still think that the universe is rotating with you as its axis. But, there's no point, right, if I forbid you?"

Tura and Pata nodded confidently.

"Well, if that's your will. Although it's exactly what you're looking for, I want to give it to a faster young man." The hermit turned around and walked to the end of the cave. "On the West and South. The Silver Fanged Spear and the Red Claw Sword were located. Two heirloom weapons that can match the power of the jewel of lazarus. Find it, and use it wisely."

The walls of the cave opened as the wise old hermit swung his hand back. Without further admonition, the two brothers approached. He said goodbye with a carefree face, to enter the door opened by the hermit. Heading into a new adventure, for the sake of finding a legendary weapon.
