"What are you doing here?"
The words came out of Vera's mouth with great emphasis and a stifled cry. His interlocutor - a man with blue blonde hair - stared at Vera like an innocent man.
"Clubbing, what else is it?" The man replied with a witty voice. His eyebrows that were dyed were in tune with his hair, shrinking. Questioning Vera as if the girl's question made no sense.
"Then why did you come to me, motherfucker? Don't you realize I'm working?" Vera still held her voice so as not to explode.
Just 15 minutes ago, the man with the electric blue mane came up to him like a crazy drunk. Unaware of Vera's position at work. His arrival made all the bodyguards whisper in Vera's ears, asking if Vera's situation was safe or not?
Margot and Anggara even stopped talking and looked towards them, wondering towards the arrival of the alien creature. Fortunately, Margot was in a good mood. He reads Vera's situation and asks Vera to deal with the man Vera says is an 'introduction'.
So, here's Vera now. In the narrow passageway connected to the toilet, he stood face to face with his 'acquaintance.
"Relaxed. I didn't know you were at work." the man scratched his eyebrows and chuckled. "So, was that woman just your boss? She's beautiful..., can I approach her?"
"Do you want to die?" Vera pushed the man against the wall.
"Hey-slow, I'm kidding. I'm not going near him okay, okay...!"
"If you still want to live, don't wander around me, Alle."
"But I need you..." Alle-name the man-cleaned Vera's wrist that was still gripping her leather jacket. "Rather...., I need cash...., do you bring money? I got robbed, damn it. My friends pranking me, I lose my bet and they'll take my car if I don't buy them-"
"Am I saving you?"
"Veraaa, you know you're special to me. I may see you as a savings. You make me sound bad. Am I the only one using you here? Am I using you? We are lovers, remember? It's only natural that you help me..."
"..."
"Veraa..." Alle's voice softened. He who stood tall before Vera flattened his height with Vera's pale face before anchoring a kiss on the girl's cheek. "I love you..."
"Tsk!" Vera took out her wallet in annoyance. There was nothing he could do when his heart was weakened by every inducement the man gave. She gave him money before he put his index finger back on the man's face.
"This is the last time I let you near me when I was working, Alle. If you show up as you please again, I won't hesitate to let my friends kill you."
"Aww, romance. Are you provoking my passion by acting like that?" alle's smile was thin. "You know I like you being assertive like this.., hehehehe."
"Your!"
"Fine, I'm not going anywhere near. Thanks for the help, Vera. You're my precious.." Before it passed from Vera's presence, Alle dipped the money she gave him and put a roll of the money in her leather jacket. "See you."
After Alle's departure, Vera stood alone in the quiet hallway. The sound of music was faint in the hallway. He took a short breath before finally restarting the hearing device connected to Willa and the other bodyguards.
"Willa, where's your position now?" Vera leaned against the wall while frowning.
"We're still in the same place."
"All right, I'll be right there."
"Ver, are you okay?"
Asked like that, Vera fell silent for a while before forcing her smile to bloom in the darkness. "I'm good. Just a small matter."
"Alright," Willa ended his question and Vera re-stamped her body, ready to go. Just then, as he was about to step up, the glass door connected to the passageway opened. Anggara stepped out of that door and stared right at him.
"Mr Anggara," Vera bowed politely as a greeting.
"We meet again..." Anggara smiled at the coincidences that kept coming.
"M." Mmm."
"Where did your acquaintance go?" Anggara-like did not read the situation of Vera wanting to escape from before him, deliberately prolonging her question. He glanced left right, acting like an idiot man who could not see.
"Our business is done, so he's gone."
"It must be an important matter..." Anggara's eyes rolled to the wallet that was in Vera's hands before going back up and looking at the girl's face. "Are you okay?"
Realizing the direction of Anggara's gaze, Vera immediately stuffed her wallet in her pants pocket. It was like being caught making a mistake even though Vera had done nothing wrong. Not in his point of view.
"I'm good, Mr. Anggara. Thanks for asking." Vera developed a wide grin that she often used as a shield to cover her discomfort.
"Eh." Anggara is not fooled.
"I'll be back, then. Mr. Anggara, excuse me."
...----------------...
"What happened to you?" Margot questioned Vera when her bodyguard returned. Although present with his usual flat expression, Margot could feel that his Vera was in a bad mood. "Did that blue porcupine do something to you?"
"Handak?"
"His appearance is like a hedgehog" said Margot, although the actual appearance of the man Alle-si is meant to be - very similar to a hedgehog. Vera sighed at her boss's allusion and just smiled.
"No one, boss Margot. It was just my friend, he didn't know I was working. I'm sorry for interfering in my personal life with work."
"Don't whine, it's not a problem at all. You are a human being who has acquaintances as well, so it is not wrong that there are some people who recognize you. Right, Willa?"
"Yes, Boss." Willa said Margot.
"Just.." Margot's tone of voice changed decisively. He lifted the paper tucked in his glass and pushed it into Vera's chest. "Just make sure your friend knows who your boss is."
"Eh, what is this?" Vera greeted the paper and saw a familiar HP number engraved on the paper. Alle's HP number with the message 'call me!' listed below.
"Nakedown..." Vera swore unintentionally. "Willa, what's going on?"
"He just came along..." Willa chimed in with a guilty grin. "Bos Margot asked me to let her be.., yeah..."
"It's embarrassing, damn it." Vera squeezed the paper in her grasp before turning to face Margot and bowing her head deeply. "I'm sorry, Boss. You can punish me with anything!"
As Margot's personal bodyguard, not-as Margot's chief temporary bodyguard, Vera feels she's failed miserably. Not only does he mix his work with personal matters, he also makes his boss deal-troubled by a figure who is his 'personal problem. This is a curse, he deserves a harsh punishment.
"Don't embarrass me, Vera. Lift your head up." Margot laughs jokes.
"Did something happen?" Anggara rejoined them. Vera pulled over and gulped in panic. His roar was deathly pale. The shadow he kicked out of this job scared him. Because, unlike Ace who is understanding and still understands one or two minor mistakes, Margot is not. Margot is the type of woman who does things depending on her mood. Because of that, he was scarier than Ace.
"Nothing..." Margot smiled sweetly at Anggara before turning to Vera. His pair of dark netra was like warning Vera to shut up and return to her original position. Sensitive to his boss's intentions, Vera retreated in an orderly fashion.
"Female, how is Indira? Haven't seen him in a long time? Did she become a woman who was so devoted to her household after marriage that she forgot about the outside world?"
Anggara shook his head while smiling faintly. "There's no such thing. Indi just wanted to rest."
"You know Indira is very close to Ace, right? Since they used to be close friends, I always thought that maybe they would end up together. Hahaahaha. Too bad, it seems like my hope is so naive."
"Friendship is friendship, love is love. I guess." Anggara shrugged his shoulders. "You can't interfere with both."
"Hmmm, but there's also a case of friends being love, right?" Margot won't lose. "I was very disappointed when I found out Indira was married to Evan, I thought I had lost my ideal sister-in-law."
"Haha. You're so lost."
In the eyes of Anggara, there is no woman whose level is equivalent to Indira in this world. Besides the beauty of Indira like Aphrodite, Indira is a girl with elegance and elegance that captivate the eyes and hearts of anyone who looks. He was perfect from toe to head, pure and extraordinary.
"So, what about Ace?" Anggara cleared his throat for a moment, his eyes glancing at Margot wittyly. "When will he catch up with Indira to pelaminan?"
"That's an interesting question," said Margot, face-tapping on the chin. "I think it's gonna be hard."
"Why? I don't think finding a woman would be a hindrance to Ace. He is, after all, one of the dream men in this country. At least, that's how the quote concerns Ace on the internet." Obviously, Anggara's view of Ace is much different from that of the quote. For Anggara, Ace is nothing more and nothing less than an ulcer on ******! His existence makes everything runyam.
"Finding women is not an obstacle at all, take it easy." Margot smiled obliquely. "Ace doesn't need to look for something that's already in his hands."
"Yes? What do you mean Ace's already..." Anggara. What does it mean that Margot Ace already has a lover?
"Joking, Anggara, kidding." Although not actually. Margot shook her head while grinning happily. "If Ace had a lover, it would be a huge explosion."
"Well, that's true."
"Then what about you, aside from Ace, you were also the girls' moons on the night of the lady Mikoto show back then, right? Do you have a candidate to follow in your sister's footsteps?"
The question finally turned to Anggara back. The fruit of his curiosity bit him.
"No.., there's nothing like it." Anggara chimed in while sipping his margarita.
"Then does this mean you're open to everyone?"
"Not everyone..." Anggara looked at Margot right in the eye, trying to convey the meaning of her words to the girl who was now his target. "Just one person."
Margot returned Anggara's gaze with a grin that did not fade at all from her face.
"I wonder who that lucky one is."
Behind Margot and Anggara who tease each other, Vera and Willa listen to the words of the two with reddened ears. Well, it seems like their standing distance is too close. It's starting to get uncomfortable to listen to.
