...NORMAL pov...
...----------------...
Fawn was awakened by a feeling of unease creeping on her nape. He opened his eyes with a faint groan coming off his lips. The bright light from the outside made him painstakingly open his eyes and instantly, just as his mind and consciousness returned 100 percent, the memory of seeing Indira's face made him wake up in shock. His body leaped awake in alert, eyes widening alert.
"Heh, Fawn.., you're awake." Haru stood near the foot of the bed, standing looking at him with a concerned face.
"I..., am I back here?" Fawn felt dryness on her lips and bitter in her heart when again, she returned to this place? In this cage? When he has a chance to be free from here? He's back here again?
What happened after he shouted, Fawn did not remember at all.
"Boss Ace brought you here" Haru explained. His voice was low and agitated. "It looks like your actions this time made Ace's boss very angry. I hope, for your own good, you don't throw any more tantrums, Fawn."
"Not making a tantrum? Me?" Fawn digested Haru's words like swallowing a stone. Does the man realize what he just said?
"Haru.., I. How could you think I would obey the madness that your fucking boss is doing!!! ACE BASTARD, COME HERE YOU DEVIL! YOU SHOULD HAVE KILLED ME, MOTHERFUCKER!"
Instead of obeying Haru, Fawn began to shout with explosive emotions. All the patience he endured and the bitterness he was forced to swallow, Fawn had already reached her limit. Not anymore, he doesn't want to be here. He hates this place. There is no place to describe this place other than hell! Fawn just wants to be free, for God's sake!
"Fawn.., please, stop." Haru sighed tiredly. He can't let Fawn's screams get to Ace's ears, Fawn can fall victim to his boss's rampage.
This girl, is she incapable of thinking long?
"Fawn, please..." Haru tried to calm Fawn down, touching the shoulder of the girl who was still shouting and throwing things in the room to the floor. However, just as his hand was about to reach Fawn's shoulder, Fawn turned around and caught Haru's outstretched arm.
Then, in one round...
Brak!!!
Haru slammed onto the floor.
"aaArrrhhh..," Haru's groans came off with horror.
But that doesn't make Fawn sympathetic. He only glared at Haru with angry eyes.
"I can't stay here, this is the limit.., I will step out of this place alive or dead!"
Fawn stepped towards the door at a rapid pace. It was moved by overflowing emotions. The thought that he was back in this place when he had the chance to be free made his anger peak. He was disappointed in his destiny, angry at a situation that did not support him at all. Why should he go back to this place, motherfucker?!!
"Fawnn's..." Haru quickly stood up and tried to stop Fawn who was speeding towards the door, but, in the midst of his efforts, Haru's steps came to a halt as the door Fawn reached opened. Someone entered from there making Fawn's steps freeze instantly.
A gun pointed at Fawn's forehead...
"Someone woke up excitedly," said the person.
That's Ace. In a golden-colored satin sleeping robe, he retraced two steps closer to the frozen Fawn. His demonic smile was etched witlessly as his eyes met Fawn's round, alert eyes.
"Are you going out?" ace asked in a soft and deadly voice, that low tone was like a death trumpet. Fawn trembled as Ace's pistol tip greeted his chin, raising his face to look at Ace's charming arrogant face. Ace's pair of dark eyeballs stared at Fawn in shade, like a hospitality wrapped in intimacy.
"Let me out of here, Ace. I don't want to be here." Fawn opened her voice, her lips quivering with tears gathered in her eye pelvis.
"You can go" said Ace casually. "Please go, I won't ban you." Ace responded to Fawn's request, even giving a gesture. His relaxed and light attitude was very confusing.
"What else are you waiting for, you can go." added Ace again.
Fawn-with a hint of hope and indecision, stared at Ace's black iris. What happened to that guy? Is he serious now?
With fear mixed with nervousness, Fawn pulled her steps towards the door slowly. Just then, not a second of his eye contact with Ace was cut off. He stared at the cold man's face with caution until he finally set one foot outside the door, Ace showing no reaction other than his ambiguous hospitality.
Fawn pulled one more step, and just as he was actually outside, Ace sauntered towards the door following Fawn's move with a terrible thin grin.
"Carcel, shoot Joseph." In just that one command, Carcel who was standing by the door, watched Fawn and Ace in silence, finally moving touching his radio.
"WHAT-WHAT---" Fawn stopped stepping and swerved. "What are you..."
"Good, Boss."
"ACE!! BASTARD, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!???" With tension and panic, Fawn ran over to Ace. Shaking the bastard with a tantrum. "What are you doing!!! I beg! Damn it, don't hurt Joseph, motherfucker!!!"
"I told you, didn't I?" The smile on Ace's face did not fade away at all when Fawn came to him in anger.
Fawn's red face mixed with sweat and tears made Ace feel a tremendous thump in his heart. He longed for the sight of Fawn crumbling before him with a happy heart.
"Three people will risk your freedom. Did you forget what I said about the deal?"
"What did you do to Joseph, motherfucker.., don't hurt him, I. God fucking. Ace, please!!! AARRGH!!!" Fawn fell to the floor, her eyes moving wildly in panic. His hands trembled with his messy black mane. It created a terrible pain in his scalp.
"No.., no.., no..." Fawn shivering.
The shadow that now Joseph lost his life due to his reckless actions.
No, no, no. None of this can happen. Fawn would not have been able to forgive herself if Joseph had actually died from it.
Noticing Fawn's extremely miserable change in attitude, Ace did not feel any sympathy. He crouched down in front of the girl and looked at her while tilting his head. "Are you that way unfortunately for that ugly guy?"
"..."
"You should worry about yourself, not anyone else." Ace continued.
Ace smiled again as Fawn's red eyes barked furiously at him. The tears that shed on the cheeks of the girl were beautiful.
"You are the devil" said Fawn.
"You just found out?" Ace reached for Fawn's chin, clutching it tight and painful. "I'm the devil who's gonna lock you up here, Fawn. You're my pet, remember that. I won't let you be free, you chose this place, even if you die, you'll die here."
"Then kill me, you bastard." Fawn held Ace's wrist, holding the man's grip from cracking his jaw. For God's sake, Ace's grip left pain in his skin, thinking he would die in the man's grasp.
"Hehehehehe, I wouldn't do such a stupid thing." Ace crawled forward closer to Fawn who was still sitting on the floor. His gaze fell upon Fawn's pair of sparkling eyes filled with hatred and implied curses.
"You're too beautiful to get rid of,"
"Huh..., do you like me that much?" Fawn makes jokes in her pain. He knew that feelings of love and liking would never be in Ace's heart. The man is as dark as the night sky, he will not feel love with all his madness. He's a cold-blooded psychopath.
Like getting a surprise attack, the madness in Ace's eyes turned into stubbornness. Words like to make all his sadism transformed into aggravation. The witty face on Ace's face turned dark.
"You know, fueling my anger like that won't bring you anything good." Ace pulls Fawn's arm and forces the girl to stand up. Fawn followed Ace's coercion but seconds later, just as Fawn was treading with both feet, Ace was pushed to the floor.
A powerful fist lodged in Ace's temple, Fawn the perpetrator stared at the man with wrath that chime with grief.
"Boss Ace," Haru and Carcel are approaching. Saving their master who was now staring at Fawn with the same hatred. Without responding to his two bodyguards, Ace stood up. He approached Fawn and was ready to send a counter-punch if only...
If only Fawn had not flinched backwards with her eyes closed.
Ace's hand stopped in mid-air, the overflowing anger in his chest as if paused. Fawn's expression at the time created an awkwardness in her body - something a kind of painful foreign stirring. His heart ached in that second round.
Ace's fist which was already high in the air, a few centi near Fawn's face, came to a halt and fell back to his side. All the euphoria that came from Fawn's mental torture faded from Ace's mind right then and there.
...Do you like me that much?...
Fawn's question was like a spark that fell in a sea of gasoline. Ace's mind was filled with that question once again. Like an understatement.
Likey?
Ace--liked Fawn?
