"Yahoooo!!!"

A screaming voice emerged from Fawn's room. Some of the bodyguards that passed there paused for a moment before resuming their activities.

Perhaps because it was the fourth time this week that they heard Fawn screaming from her room, the bodyguards who shared the same hallway with Fawn had stopped wondering or putting any anxiety on her.

Of course, the situation was not what it was now, not calm and relaxed when the oddity began. Early on when they heard Fawn screaming in her room, the bodyguards who happened to hear her screams spontaneously ran headlong into Fawn's room. Curious and anxious to join.

"I'm sorry, I just had a nightmare." Fawn answered that time, then the next day again, and the next day again and they stopped caring.

Of course, that answer is a lie.

Fawn wished her screams had indeed come from a nightmare, but. That's reality.

Fawn-by God-wants to immerse her head in the ground.

"Why would I do that?" Fawn buried her head in the pillow. The frustration is not gone. It had been four days since he met Ace, and since then, he had not recovered at all. His mind has yet to recover from the fact that he, a Fawnia Alder, provoked Ace Hunter to do the dirty thing with him.

"I wanna die, I wanna die, I wanna die!" Fawn rolled around on her bed with her face heating up red again.

Every time he remembered what had happened that night, Fawn became extremely frustrated. He was immersed in an incredible feeling of shame, and disgust. Oh, how much Fawn was disgusted with herself for acting so aggressively.

"I hate myself, I swear. Fawnia you're stupid!!!" Fawn wanted to cry out of sheer shame. He did not expect himself to be able to go that far, able to act as wild as that?

"It must be the wine, right?" Fawn was trying to find a denial of the madness she had committed. Looking for a scapegoat for actions that he remembers very clearly, he did in a conscious and very, very sane state.

"God, why would I do that?" Fawn lay on her back. Eyes stared at the white ceiling of his room. All his actions, his voice, the touch he initiated, every page and.oh, all of that comes fresh in his memory every morning. Like cold water flashing his head, reminding him that damn, he's out of his mind.

If you can repeat time... Fawn thought about the same probabilities every morning. The possibility of being able to repeat time to that night.., will he do so if he returns to the same moment at that very moment?

Fawn brushed her lower lip, sweeping away the heat left there every time she recalled her actions and Ace that night. When he with courage that came out of nowhere-studded between the man's feet...,

"Fuck up!" Fawn woke up and ruffled her hair.

He's really not sane.

Fawn was very sure because.., how could he possibly be so self-loathing for the actions he created, and at the same time..., feeling eroded every time he thought about those moments back?

"Fawnia, get all that filthy stuff out of your head." Fawn spoke to herself while closing her eyes tightly. He tried to put all his memories of the events of that night in the corner of his mind, far away so that he could be normal for another day.

"I can't be like this" Fawn murmured back and stood up. He dragged his feet into the bathroom. He mustn't keep thinking about Ace because he has a special job today.

Special job to infiltrate Evan Caspian's room.

Same day and different place...

"The meeting was held today, wasn't it?" Margaret Hunter leaned against the door frame of her male Ace-sister room buttoning her red satin shirt while staring at her reflection in the mirror.

Although Ace is famous for being handsome and stunning people's eyes for its elegant appearance, there is something about Ace wearing red that makes it more exciting. Like an apple that attracts Eve, like a sin that lures you to plunge into it. She was always beautiful and dangerous, and that red color supported her.

Margot looked at Ace and was secretly proud of his sister's appearance.

"That's how it is" said Ace.

"Are you ready to do this?"

"Is there a reason for me to be unprepared?" Ace turned and looked at Margot.

"none. I trust you with this task, Ace. Anyway, I've waited too long." Margot looked Ace right in the eye, warning him wordlessly. "Mom and Dad will be proud of your actions today."

"It's too early to be proud. We're not even close enough to bring Evan Caspian down."

"Thank you for helping me, Ace."

"I'm not doing this to help you" Ace murmured. He pulled out a pistol and a folding knife from an iron safe, a device he always carried with him for safety. "I'm doing this because you're threatening me" Ace continued.

"Well, it's true." Margot smiled miris. "Say, Ace..., wouldn't you do anything if I didn't force you? Don't you have sentiments for your own parents?"

"Father and Mother know what kind of world they choose to live in." Ace said.

"So you're justifying their deaths?"

"Not really. But I don't feel so ambitious about the mystery of their deaths. Unlike you, I don't have a strong bond with Mom and Dad. I let them go." Ace responded.

Finished preparing himself, Ace was leaning on the lips of the mahogany table which was his work desk. He looked at Margot with his arms crossed in his chest.

"Do you think I made a mistake?" Margot sharpened her eyes, there was displeasure in her voice after hearing Ace's words just now.

"You didn't make a mistake because you wanted revenge. It's a reasonableness, given your position back, you're the most beloved child in the family, you love them just as much. If I felt the same great affection as you I would want the same thing."

"..."

"Your mistake is, you're using me to take your revenge." Ace continued for a second after he managed to make Margot's stern expression soften. Now, it was Ace's turn to give the girl a sharp look.

"You can let me die if you don't want to. Don't blame me." Margot.

"Just because you're still breathing doesn't mean you're alive, Mar." Ace approached his brother and flattened the height of their faces.

"You were dead a long time ago when mom and dad died. The day your revenge is over, you will have nothing left to survive in this world. When that day comes, you'll die. Alone, I won't stop you anymore."

"Why?" margot Sahut. "Why did you let me live if you thought I'd die later?"

"Maybe because.., I changed my mind." No, rather someone had already managed to change his mind.

"Huh?"

Ace checked the watch in his own hand. "I'll use you for my benefit. Also, Diamond.., I can't just abandon that company. Not to you, not to Uncle Jack."

"You think you don't care about our company? Isn't that why you ran away from home first?"

"I don't like the decision of father and mother, that's all. They think I'm too perfect to lead the place, they're afraid of me."

"Ah..., so...., are you going to lead Diamond earnestly now?"

"I've never played around" Ace said.

"So this revenge..., it benefits you too, right?" Margot hesitated.

"Only now." said Ace. "Now, I see the benefits of your petty revenge."

"I wonder what it is."

"You'll know when I get it."

Ace's answer was not very satisfactory. Margot is still curious. "So, this war..., it's not just about revenge anymore, is it?"

"I'm not as petty as you are, Mar." It's not about revenge anymore. Ace has his own goal now. Something more expensive than revenge. A victory. An conquest.

Evan Caspian is no longer the target.

The Ace target is now just one.

Fawnian.

...To put the girl back in her cage, Ace would do anything....
