Chapter 49: The Situation of Josh

Eric and Nina manage to get Evelyn into the car. Then Eric immediately plugged the gas to get out of the place.

Nina turned her head to look slowly at the building getting collapsed and causing such a huge smoke. He began to cry, imagining how the fate of the master and his mistress– feeling.

"Eric, will Mr Josh survive?" tanya Nina looked at her fiance who looked equally worried.

"Don't talk about it, Nina. Madam could have heard you, now we go to the hospital first. Mrs Evelyn needs treatment, especially if she is pregnant," said Eric, who continues to focus on the future.

After a journey of about an hour, they finally arrived at the hospital. Nina went to accompany Evelyn who was immediately taken to the emergency room. As for Eric, he walked back near the car.

"Hello, Mister. I can't confirm the circumstances of Mr. Josh and the others. But, I've taken Miss Evelyn to the hospital due to fainting. The rest I'll explain here" Eric said as he called Mr. Luise.

Arriving at the hospital. Mr. Luise and Mrs Irish immediately approached Eric who was waiting for them in front of the emergency room. They immediately asked how Evelyn was doing.

"How's Evelyn doing, Eric?" ask Mrs Irish.

Eric sighed before he answered and told him what had happened. "Sir, Madam, we brought Mrs Evelyn because at Mr. Josh's request, what happened there was a mess."

Master Luise and Madam Irish frowned. "What do you mean, Eric?" ask both at the same time.

"The building we came to suddenly exploded, and Mr. Josh was inside, he hadn't been out yet. Because of this, Mrs Evelyn was screaming hysterically, until she passed out and we took her to the hospital" Eric explained.

The body of the Irish Mistress staggered backwards and was immediately captured by Mr. Luise. "Where is Markus? Did he go with you?" ask Mr. Luise.

Eric shook his head. He did not even know the fate of his senior, as well as the other men. "I don't know, Sir. We're in a hurry to get out of there."

Nina immediately helped Madam Irish to sit in the chair in front of the emergency room. Mr. Luise reached into his cell phone immediately and contacted his other men to inquire about the situation there, especially the boy.

"Josh my son.. Did you survive, son? Don't leave Mommy and Daddy. Your wife needs you right now, you haven't even seen your child born yet" said Mrs Irish as she wept helplessly at the news of her child.

Nina who heard that was getting less and less strong and shed her tears. Eric was trying to call someone there, as well as Mr. Luise who had not stopped talking on the phone.

"Eric, we're going there now!" lord Luise's orders, and Eric nodded immediately.

"Nina, please take care of my wife here. And let us know if Evelyn wakes up from her stupor" said Mr. Luise.

Nina nodded and tried to calm Madam Irish by helping to rub the woman's back.

As for Mister Luise and Eric, the two immediately hurtled towards the location. Although Mr. Luise is still not running smoothly and is still in recovery, but for the sake of the child he is willing to jump into the location.

Later that night, Nina and Lady Irish were accompanying Evelyn who had been transferred to the VIP treatment room. Then, not long after Nina saw the movement of Evelyn's fingers, until the woman's eyelids were opened.

Evelyn spread her gaze throughout the white room. Then, he frowned feeling a little dizzy and again remembered the thing that happened.

"Josh!" she screamed while trying to get up and Nina helped her.

"About, Evelyn. Please calm yourself for a moment, Josh must be fine," said Mrs Irish trying to calm her daughter-in-law.

"Mom. The building exploded and my husband was inside, I don't know what happened after that. The building exploded and collapsed right in front of my own head! I couldn't calm down before I found out about my husband's news" Evelyn said as she wept helplessly in memory of the incident.

The Irish mistress immediately hugged Evelyn, she tried to calm the woman down so as not to have too much thought. "About you, honey. You're pregnant" she said.

"Mom, husband... I don't want anything to happen to her" Evelyn said, holding her stomach and returning to tears.

"Calm down. Daddy and Eric have gone there to make sure things are right. You just calm your mind, yes, for the baby you bear," said Mrs Irish.

Evelyn nodded as she wiped her tears. She was very worried about her husband. The shadow of the explosion and the ruins of the building kept spinning in his memory.

Then, not long after, Mr. Luise opened the door to Evelyn's ward. The three people who were there looked surprised. Madam Irish immediately approached and asked, "Dad. What's going on?"

Master Luise sighed, but did not reply. Then, Eric showed up afterwards with someone.

"Josh!" shouted the Irish Mistress who immediately ran to hug the child.

"My boy, honey. You okay, Josh? You have made Mommy and Evelyn worried" asked the Irish Lady who was still holding her child.

"I'm fine, Mom," Josh replied as he glanced at Evelyn.

The woman seemed to cry. Her feelings that had been vacillating because she did not know how her husband was after the building explosion, now she was crying happily because her husband survived.

Madam Irish immediately let go of her embrace. Josh approached Evelyn and hugged her.

"I'm sorry, honey. I almost made you wretch. If only I hadn't run away from home, mung-"

"Shuuut! You're not wrong. What matters now is that you're back here with me. I'm sorry for lying about that woman, I really didn't mean it" Josh said.

Evelyn hugged her husband tightly. He was so worried about Josh, and so afraid that something might happen to him.

"What about you, honey? Is our son okay?" josh asked while rubbing Evelyn's stomach.

Evelyn nodded. "Our son is strong like you, he can survive in such a tense condition as before" he replied with a smile and his eyes looked teary.

Josh kissed Evelyn on the forehead again, then hugged her tightly. He regrets not being open about his past and making Evelyn again misunderstand like that.
