Chapter 48: Evelyn Hysterical

One shot landed right on the back of a woman trying to hug the man before her.

Jasper spontaneously drops his gun in surprise to see Rose hugging Josh trying to protect her from being shot.

"Rose!" jasper shouted as he approached and pushed Josh's body.

Josh, who still did not expect the appearance of Rose, could not say anything but walk slowly closer to Evelyn and Nina.

"Rose wake! You heard me, right?" Jasper patted the woman on the cheek several times, hoping she would come to her senses.

"Why are you here, Rose? Didn't I tell you to leave? Why are you protecting that pira?!" lick Jasper who still continues to shake Rose's body hopes that his cousin is still awake.

"Cu–enough... To–please... U–urkan ka–kau intention to ba–balas den––dam!" said Rose stammering.

"No! They're wrong, Rose. They killed my father and your father! They must have felt our suffering all along!" firmly Jasper.

Rose shook her head slowly. "A–aku, please," said Rose before the woman drooped.

Jasper immediately lifted up his cousin's body. He ran down the stairs and took Rose into the car. He did not even care about those people anymore, who he cared about right now was the safety of the cousin.

While on top of the building, Josh has managed to unbind in the hands and feet of Evelyn, as well as Nina. Eric who had just arrived on top of that immediately approached.

"How are things outside?" ask Josh.

"It's still messed up, sir. Our men and boys are still fighting, we can't get out of here on the front road" Eric said.

"We're taking Evelyn and Nina through the back road!" stern Josh.

Eric nodded and immediately led Nina down, as well as Josh holding Evelyn trying to protect his wife.

The four of them walked towards the back and without realizing it, someone was lurking from the top of the building.

He circulated a look for where the shooter was, as he narrowed his eyes he could see someone dressed in black wearing the hat was on top of the building. Quickly, Eric fired his shot and managed to hit the target.

"Run, Master!" shouting Eric.

The injured Josh tried to keep going by leading Evelyn. This old building is quite spacious, and they have not yet reached the back end.

Dor's!

The gunshot was heard again. Now, Josh turns his body around trying to protect Evelyn while brandishing a gun. Eric looked back at the building.

"Take Evelyn and Nina off, Eric!" josh's orders were firm. He couldn't possibly have involved his wife in such a situation.

"No! You should come with me. I don't want to leave you hurt like this!" peeked Evelyn who was already crying out of fear.

"Go get them, Eric!" josh shouted again without listening to his wife.

Josh immediately shot in various directions to dispel them. While the master tricked the enemy, Eric quickly took Evelyn and Nina to get out of the building.

"No, Eric! Unhand me! My husband can't be alone!" evelyn yelled as she wanted to go back inside.

However, Nina and Eric try to hold Evelyn and take her away from the building.

Until a few steps they step. The sound of explosions coming from the inside of the building shocked them.

"Josh.....!"

Evelyn screamed and cried hysterically as she watched the building collapse before her. The husband is still inside.

Eric and Nina try to hold Evelyn who continues to thrash until her body weakens and she faints.
