Chapter 11: Sarah's Disappearance

Heard his son-in-law convulsing and almost took his life. Mr. Luise and Mrs Irish immediately returned to the hospital as well as Josh.

Arriving there, Mr. Luise immediately asked Eric, "what happened to Eric?"

"When I entered this room, I saw Nina pass out on the sofa and Miss Evelyn was convulsing, Sir. But..."

"But what?" asked Master Luise who was curious because Eric hung up his sentence.

"But, earlier I ran into a nurse who looked suspicious. I've checked the cctv and it's true that someone went into this room but can't be sure she's a real nurse or a fake one" Eric explained.

Hearing that, of course, Mr. Luise was furious. He immediately approached the doctor who was examining Evelyn. "I want to meet the director of this hospital! My daughter-in-law almost lost her life because of that fake nurse, what are you doing? Why do you guys look so quiet?!"

"Sorry, Mr. Luise. I have reported this to the hospital director. But, please wait 24 hours because we are checking all the nurses and investigating the perpetrator" explained the frightened woman.

Master Luise sighed and went back to his men, Markus. "Find whoever it is, and bring it before me alive!" his orders were with great emphasis, until some of the nurses and doctors who were there were horrified.

Two days later, after Evelyn regained consciousness and had recovered a little. Both of Josh's parents take him to their temporary home. Because Mrs Irish still doesn't believe in Josh and is afraid her son hurt Evelyn back.

Arriving at home. Evelyn was immediately taken to the second floor to the room she had once occupied before marriage. Josh tries to calm himself down and sits on the balcony alone.

His phone rang, he immediately reached the silver-colored flat object from his pocket. He had expected Sarah to contact him even though Josh had been banned for a while. The man in the middle of wearing the casual suit sighed before finally picking up the phone.

"What Sarah? I told you not to call for a while, because I'm still in my parents' custody" whispered Josh as quietly as possible with his wobbly head looking around.

"I miss! Why didn't you call? I can't keep this up!" sulking Sarah with her typical soft tone– while sulking at Josh.

"Shut up, Sarah! Just listen to me, don't keep going like this. What if we get caught? Are you ready to live with me?!"

Hearing that, the voice over there sounded silent. Sarah was silent, she could not live poor with Josh because her main purpose was to marry a rich man. So, the choice is to stay quiet and follow what Josh says.

"Alright, I'll try to hold back this longing" he said.

After that Josh closed his call without speaking again. He immediately put his phone in his pocket and looked back at the beautiful view of the house by the sea.

"I think I should buy a house there. Ah, it's good to talk about it with Daddy later, too" he murmured.

Not long after, Eric approached Josh and bowed in greeting. Although Josh is still upset at his assistant, Josh can't do anything because of his father.

Josh raised next to his eyebrows by looking at Eric who was still lowered. "Why are you approaching me? Wouldn't you be better off next to Daddy and keep tailing him!" sniff Josh, pissed.

"Sorry Sir, but yesterday I was urged and had to admit what happened" Eric said, bowing his head.

"But you can lie, Eric! Not complaining, not about Sarah! See now, my status is unknown at Dexter Corporation after Daddy threatened me!"

Eric sighed and went back to speaking, "you are currently still in Master Luise's tutelage. So, I'm expecting you not to have frequent contact with your lover."

"Whisper! You're my subordinate! My assistant, who only takes care of my business, doesn't even interfere in my personal affairs!" jolt Josh who immediately stood up from his seat. He stared intently at Eric and again emphasized, "remember this, Eric! If you touch Sarah, then you'll come face to face with me!"

Eric just looked down regardless of what his young master said. He straightened up after Josh walked down the hall and turned into a room.

Josh went into a different room to Evelyn's. He spread his body by looking at the ceiling. The phone in his pocket rang again.

"Damn it! Why does he suck every minute of calling. I don't know how many hundred times he's called, hasn't he listened to me?!" josh's grumble immediately turned off his phone. "I should have turned it off earlier, then" he continued.

Elsewhere, Sarah is at Evelyn's parents' house again. After Maria fails to carry out her plan, Sarah scolds the middle-aged woman and threatens not to pay her any more.

Maria is certainly upset that she only earned 5000 dollars, because her efforts to get into the VIP room were difficult. He did not accept it and demanded the rest. "Come, Sarah! You have to pay me because I've been working my way into that hospital!"

"You're asking for a fee? Ckhus! My plan failed because you were late in giving me that liquid until Eric came in sooner!"

"I'll do it one more time, and this time it'll definitely work!" press Maria to convince Sarah.

"How can you do that? Will you be able to enter the strict and guarded house of the Dexter family? You could be an easy target!" clearly Sarah with a grunt annoyed. He needs to be able to turn his brain around and think about how to get rid of Evelyn again.

Then Sarah got up from her seat and left the woman without saying goodbye.

After getting into the car and before turning it on, Sarah tries to call Josh but his number is off.

Until he reached the apartment, Josh's number was still not active. Sarah was frustrated and felt she was going to lose Josh, she grabbed things again and slammed down as she pleased.

Not long after, his phone rang and was seen on the screen of his phone with the name "Baby".

"Hello, honey. Why don't you activate the phone? I almost lost my mind in fear of losing you, Josh!" racau Sarah who immediately sat on the edge of the bed.

"I told you not to call me first! Why do you call me almost every minute? Do you want me to get caught and make me faster than the company? Are you really ready to live poor with me?!"

Sarah covered her lips with her eyes closed. Yeah, she felt guilty for calling Josh so often, for worrying about the guy. What if Josh changes his mind or starts glancing at Evelyn? What if Josh leaves her? And there are many more questions Sarah thinks about.

"Sorry, Honey. But I'm very worried about our relationship. I'm afraid you're turning on that woman" Sarah said.

"Here you go, you don't have to interfere with the woman's business. Moreover, two days ago he almost died because someone injected something on his infusan–. Daddy's trying to find the culprit, and I hope you have nothing to do with it. Is that Sarah?"

Sarah was silent, she did not flinch. What Josh said made him a little uneasy, let alone hearing that Mr. Luise was looking for the fake nurse.

"Sara? Are you still there?" ask Josh again to make sure the lover is still on the other end of the phone or not because there is no answer.

"Gram!"

"Ah, yes. Why?" ask Sarah for a wave.

"You why? I asked you just now, have you nothing to do with what happened at that hospital? Did you really have nothing to do with Evelyn's near death?"

Sarah swallowed her Saliva–, she immediately replied even though she was nervous, "no, dear! How could I possibly do that to Evelyn, let alone make it harder for you because of your parents. I don't know anything about that incident. Because two days ago, I was filming an ad."

"Thank God. I won't suspect your–, again," said Josh.

"Josh!"

Josh's eyes are rounded when someone calls his name from the doorway. He immediately closes his call with Sarah and hides the phone under a pillow.
