Chapter 32: Towards Rome

Days passed, and every day Evelyn always woke Josh up. Somehow the story, which is certain now the two are not as awkward as before. Although sometimes Josh is still often cold towards Evelyn, and vice versa.

Evelyn is in Josh's room. The owner of the room 20 minutes ago was still in the bathroom. I don't know what Josh was doing in there that long. To be sure, Evelyn is currently doing her job.

Josh has to leave for Rome, Italy tomorrow morning. He plans to meet a friend who is none other than Jeff. As planned, the two agreed to build a five-star luxury hotel in Venice.

"It seems like enough if it's only 4 days there" Evelyn muttered as she put Josh's last outfit into the suitcase.

Not long after, Josh came out of the bathroom. He saw Evelyn standing in front of the bed, tidying up her clothes. Then, he again brushed off the strange thoughts about Evelyn's sexy curves despite being covered in clothes.

"You done yet?" josh asked while drying his hair with a towel.

Evelyn turned her body. He was no longer surprised to see Josh naked in front of him, only he was still a little nervous. "Already," he said.

"I'll go there 4 days. Are you gonna be okay here?" josh asked immediately wearing his nightgown that Evelyn had prepared earlier.

Evelyn sighed and shrugged her shoulders. "Either. Maybe it'll be okay, while there's Eric. Eric's not coming, is he?" ask Evelyn to make sure.

"Eric will come."

Evelyn made a troubled face. He's actually not too scared, but lately he's not that brave.

"Do you want to come too?" haggard Josh.

Evelyn frowned, confused. Because it's not like Josh used to take her like this. Even at a dinner with a client who was supposed to bring a wife, Josh instead came alone and did not tell him.

"I'm not sure. Don't you feel uncomfortable being around me?" Evelyn asked back, to be sure.

He remembered what Nina said the other day. It seems Josh is trying to build a good relationship with her. Evelyn was not very sensitive about it, but Nina could see it and always told herself.

"Fecund? I don't feel uncomfortable. It's good that you're coming with me, that means you're still fulfilling the obligations of a wife who has to serve her husband. Including..."

Evelyn frowned. He knew which way the man was going to talk. "What do you mean? Including what?!"

"Including accompanying me to check out the place I was going to build a hospitality project there," Josh tried to shift the topic.

"Hm... If I come, can Nina come?" ask Evelyn. He certainly did not want to go there alone. He still needs Nina.

"Can. He will help us there too. So it looks like I need to call Eric right now" Josh said as he walked away.

Josh walks out of his room and calls Eric, who is not in the house.

"Erics. Looks like I need 2 more plane tickets to get to Rome. You have to book it tonight, make sure it gets, '" Josh asked when the phone line was connected.

"2 more tickets, sir?" eric asked confused.

"Yes. For Evelyn and Nina. We can't possibly leave them here alone, let alone the two maids that Daddy ordered were taking a leave of absence."

"So you'll take Miss Evelyn and Nina, sir?" eric asked to confirm once more.

"No, Mister. Okay, I'll book those 2 tickets tonight, sir. Hopefully there are still 2 empty seats" Eric said.

"Buy 2 times is not a problem. You have to get it, otherwise just cancel our flight!"

Hearing that, Eric immediately replied aloud. He hung up, and began reserving 2 flight tickets to Rome, Italy.

In the morning, the four of them were getting ready to leave for the airport. Evelyn who had just descended from the stairs was ambushed by Nina.

"Miss. It looks like Italy is perfect for you on your honeymoon" Nina said with a chuckle at the end of her sentence.

"Nina! Shutt! Who wants a honeymoon, ouch!" timpal Evelyn with frowning.

Both of them looked silent as Josh looked back. "Come, hurry! We can be late if we linger like this."

Evelyn and Nina hurriedly walked behind them to get out.

Items are put in the trunk. They got into the car and headed to the airport. Until they arrive there, all immediately enter the plane.

On the plane, it seems that Eric deliberately chose Evelyn's ticket next to Josh and he was next to Nina. Then, they immediately sat in their seats.

Josh was trying to fit a seatbelt for Evelyn. He certainly knows if this is Evelyn's first experience aboard a plane. Perhaps, the woman was frightened, because Josh could see through her agitated eyes.

"Don't be afraid. Just hold my hand" Josh said as he fitted the seatbelt. Evelyn nodded in understanding.

When the plane takes off. Suddenly Evelyn quickly held onto Josh's hand. The man could feel, if Evelyn was frightened with trembling hands.

Josh tried to calm his wife down by patting her hands, and Evelyn kept her eyes closed. He fell asleep to reduce his fear.

Josh positioned Evelyn's head to lean on her shoulder so as not to squish to the other side. I don't know why it feels like the man's heart is going to explode right now. He felt a lot of butterflies tickling in his stomach.

"Evely. Is this what you call falling in love? Why should I fall in love with you?"

Josh smiled as he looked at Evelyn's calming face. Without him realizing there were 2 pairs of eyes that were looking at him with a laugh.

Nina who looks happy because she saw a husband and wife who began to get close was accidentally stepped on Eric's foot. Until the man grimaced in pain.

"Sorry, Eric. I was too excited to see both. Aaaa... Hopefully they soon realize, if both are in love, "said Nina.

"Yes. But you don't have to step on my feet. It hurts, Nina!"

"I've apologized, Eric. Why are you still angry?" sulk Nina with a frown.

"Here you go, you're too annoying. I need to sleep now!"

Eric just sighed and shook his head looking at Nina's never-changing behavior.
