Chapter 40: Evelyn Fainted

After trying to digest everything. Evelyn got up again, she approached Master Luise with a glare and full of question marks.

"If it's true I'm not their son. So where are my parents, Dad? Can I meet them? Because I really don't remember anything" asked Evelyn, looking at the in-laws. I wish he could get an answer that would calm him down.

Master Luise sighed before she answered the question. "What a shame, Evelyn. Both of your parents were gone when we wanted to tell you where you were. They died in a plane crash."

Hearing that, Evelyn's body instantly suffocated. Eric who was right beside her immediately held Evelyn aided by Nina. Then, the two helped lay Evelyn on the sofa with her straight, empty eyes.

"Now everything has been revealed. I want you both to get the punishment you deserve for what you did!" firmly Mr. Luise pointed at Maria and Bennet.

Markus who already knew it was his turn, he immediately brought the two foster parents Evelyn along with the other two bodyguards.

"Evely! Evelyn help us! We raised you... Just help us this once, Evelyn!" mary did not cry out who did not want to go to jail. As for Bennet, he looks so resigned to walk out with his hand that has been held firmly by Markus.

"Evely! Your brash son! Not know yourself! You should return the favor to me!" racau Maria before she disappeared behind the door.

Josh is approaching. He tried to shake his wife's body to wake up because he had just closed his eyes.

"Mom, Dad. We're taking Evelyn to the hospital!" josh said with a worried look on his face.

Jesslyn the older sister immediately approached and tried to check on her sister-in-law. "Just take it, Mom. Evelyn's body was weakened, she had to be infused immediately" Jesslyn said.

They took Evelyn to the hospital with worry. Perhaps, Evelyn was too shocked to hear Mr. Luise's statement about herself as well as her family.

Arriving at the hospital. Evelyn was immediately treated by a doctor and several nurses. Josh was very worried about his wife. He never sat for a few minutes before the doctor left the room.

"Dok. How's my wife doing? Is she okay?" josh asked curiously, as well as everything there was just as curious.

The female doctor sighed while telling them to calm down. "Repeat everyone. The patient is fine, he just needs rest and I have given him medication to make his rest comfortable. So for tonight, do not disturb the patient's calm first" said the doctor.

Josh nodded in understanding. He actually did not want to stay here, and hoped to accompany Evelyn. But, for the convenience of his wife he will obey the doctor earlier.

Mr. Luise and Mrs Irish both corroborated each other. Even Mr. Luise had regretted telling Evelyn this soon. Jesslyn tried to talk to the doctor earlier and get permission for herself to go in to see her brother-in-law inside.

Josh had wanted to come, but Jesslyn forbade him, finally he resigned and chose silence.

The next day, Josh left for the office because there was a sudden meeting. He was upset because he could not take time off to accompany his wife in the hospital. But, for the sake of responsibility to the company and because of the father, he finally left.

After an hour and a half, the meeting was finally over. Josh returns to his room with Eric to get ready to go to the hospital. But, suddenly someone appeared and opened the door of the room.

Josh and Eric turned to look at the door. Josh frowned when he saw who was walking in disrespectfully without excuse.

"Why are you here, huh?!"

Josh snorted in annoyance as he stared intently at Sarah. The woman gets closer and pushes Eric to shift.

Sarah grinned and stared flirtatiously at Josh. "I know Josh, you like my eyes the most like this. Look, I'm wearing the shirt you like the most" Sarah said, looking confident.

Josh rolled his eyeballs and chuckled. "You think I'll be tempted back? Sorry Sarah, my wife is classier, prettier and more honorable than you!" press Josh by raising his eyebrows.

"You came here only to humble your already lowly self? You don't seem to have any shame, Sarah. Ckhus! How pathetic!" go with the sarcasm.

Hearing that Sarah was certainly upset. Since it was not an easy matter for her to stand in this room, she had to disguise herself as an office girl in order to get here.

"You're too much, Josh! Where's your love, huh?!"

"What's? The love? Since when do I love you? Because since my first meeting, I've only been playing games with you, it doesn't mean I love a woman like you!" josh stern while breaking the table. "You're just using my wealth. You're nothing more than a Mario doll, Sarah!" continue with great emphasis.

"Now you get out of here, before I get angry!" josh yelled out to throw the woman away.

"I'm not leaving here! Because I sacrificed everything to get here!" she screamed Sarah with her face turning red.

"Eric! Take him away! If necessary, take Sarah's attempted murder case to my wife and put her in jail!"

Hearing that immediately Sarah approached and grabbed Josh's hand to plead. "Josh, no! I'm sorry for my mistake at the time. I'm really sorry, don't put me in jail!"

Josh immediately shook Sarah's hand and pushed the woman's body away. "How dare you touch my hand! You are shameless!"

"Hurry up and bring him Eric! According to my wishes, put him in jail, along with Evelyn's foster family!" stern Josh.

"Aren't you the one who made Maria and Bennet get to my house? Answer Sarah!" josh asked then with a glare at him.

Sarah is shocked, as she does not expect that Josh will find out about Evelyn's family. And what was that? Evelyn's foster family? Sarah was silent trying to digest the words of her ex-lover.

"Because you don't answer, it means you're admitting! Come on, Eric, get him to the police station!"

Eric nodded and immediately dragged Sarah, although the woman thrashed and shouted.

"Yah! I'm sorry, Josh! Please don't put me in jail!"

Eric manages to pull Sarah out, he and the two security there immediately bring Sarah down. And according to Josh's orders, Eric took Sarah to the police station to report it.
