Chapter 44: Josh's Surprise

"Just, Josh."

Josh's bead was round when he heard the sound. He who was looking at the scene outside the window immediately turned his chair and saw a woman walking towards him.

The woman rolled her eyes looking at Josh's office. Then, he stopped right in front of a photo that was displayed in a bookcase.

"You said this marriage was just a fake wedding. But, why did you put your wedding photos in this office? You liar!"

The woman immediately shifted and drew closer towards Josh whose face looked increasingly tense with her eyes half glaring. The 29-year-old woman played her finger while tidying Josh's tie, then as fast as lightning she grabbed the man's phone.

"Rose!" josh jolt when the woman managed to reach for her personal phone.

"Wow! You even put up your wedding photo as a lock screen. It's great! What a dream husband of all women!" the woman said with a cynical smile and she managed to open Josh's phone which was still the same password as before.

"Then, who is this? Sarah's? You talked about Sarah with Eric? Who her? Is that woman your affair, as some of my friends say?"

Josh was frustrated after hearing the woman's rant and ruffled her hair. He was even looking for Eric because, unlike his usual assistant, he wasn't here.

"Why, Josh? Are you looking for Eric?" ask the woman while smiling. "I held him back so he couldn't get in here. Because we need to speak four eyes" he grinned.

Josh frowned. He can't just let this woman go. He must quickly throw it out. "Why are you here, Rose?! Even after your departure the other day, I couldn't reach you?!"

"Ckhus! Do I just believe what you say?"

"My coming here, is to remind you. The other time you forgot. Don't you remember, the day before your wedding, you came to my apartment and said you were getting married. You also promised to divorce your fake wife after a year of marriage. But what is this? You even had an affair with Sarah and posted your wedding photos in the office as well as your cell phone!"

"Stop, Rose! You also betrayed behind my back! You even seduced company clients to get signatures in your company–. You think I don't know? We're impacting now! You had an affair with Jerry, and I had an affair with Sarah back then! Now that I want to, we both end this relationship, and don't ever bother me again. Because I'm happy with my wife!" josh sternly stared at Rosemary, her lover besides Sarah.

"You know where I'm cheating on you, Josh! It's bullshit! I even helped you win a client from Australia, did you forget that?"

Josh pursed his lips, "Ckh! You think I don't know? I know what you're doing with that Australian client, you're taking her overnight, right? All the evidence of your affair is in my hands!"

"Please, Josh. I don't care if you want to say anything. Because right now, I've come to ruin your marriage. You should know, if I've sent anything to your house," Rose said with a sly smile.

Hearing that, Josh approached immediately. He firmly gripped both of Rose's shoulders with a sharp look and his frowning. "What have you sent to my house, Rose?! Don't fuck with me!"

And elsewhere. Eric who managed to get out after being confined in the bathroom immediately ran towards Josh's room. Once there, he could not get inside because of the locked door.

"Eric! What the hell is going on? Why is Miss Evelyn crying after getting a package? She was in her room and had all her clothes packed into a suitcase. I don't understand why the lady is like this. Did Mr Josh say anything? Did they fight?" ask Nina.

"Damn! Nina, there's something going on in the office. Please hold Madam for a moment, I'll be back with you as soon as possible!"

After saying that Eric immediately hung up. He immediately called an office boy, to ask for a spare key to get into the room.

Although Nina. He went back into the room and tried to hold Evelyn to stop putting her clothes in the suitcase.

"Mrs. Madam please speak, what happened? Don't be like this. I don't get it. Madam should keep the womb and don't cry like this."

"Shut up, Nina! Just clean your clothes if you want to come with me. I don't want to be here! Josh betrayed me!" evelyn insisted as she continued to put her clothes in and after she finished she immediately walked out of the room.

Nina immediately ran to hold the woman. "Mrs please don't be like this. Don't leave here, ma'am!"

Evelyn continued to step down the stairs by dragging her suitcase while sobbing. Nina who saw that went back into the room and looked for something that made the mistress cry. Then, he found some photos that surprised him.

Nina immediately bagged the photos and ran after Evelyn. He did not even care if he did not bring anything, the most important thing at this time was that he had to accompany the madam.

Evelyn immediately stuffed her suitcase into the trunk, and Nina caught up with her. She looked up, "are you going with me, Nina?"

Nina nodded slowly, without asking back. Both of them immediately got into the car. The car was immediately driven by the driver.

Evelyn had already steadied and chose to go far away from this house. He began to wipe his tears, staring out the window.

Her heart ached when she saw pictures of her husband with other women. In fact, Josh himself has promised not to make her cry again. But, today, Josh managed to make Evelyn cry and hurt. For that, he chose to go to calm his troubled heart.
