Chapter 31: Equally Strange

"Josh?"

"Why? Do I need to come to your room to apologize?" ask Josh over there.

Evelyn frowned, confused. Not understanding why the man suddenly sent flowers and apologized to her. Moreover, Josh keeps his own number on Evelyn's new phone with the name 'My Love', very strange he thought.

"Hmm, no need. Thanks for the phone and the flowers" Evelyn said, looking cold. Then, he accidentally hangs up his phone without waiting for Josh's response.

While in Josh's room, the man grumbled in annoyance that his phone was just shut down. "He's still mad at me? It's not polite to hang up the phone!"

The irritated Josh immediately threw his body into the bed. He went back to scrolling through his phone screen and looking for someone's phone number, then tried to contact him.

"Hello, Jeff. Can you help me find something?" ask Josh when the phone is connected.

"You always need my help, Josh. What do you want to look for? A lady?"

"No. I don't need a woman now. I just want to ask for your help to find a large and strategic land to build a hotel in Italy. Can you find him?" josh said with hope that his friend can get according to what he wants.

"You want to build a hotel here? Then, how is the minimalist home construction project? Didn't you agree on that?" ask Jeff Arthur a friend of Josh who is in Rome, Italy. A CEO of J.A.C Corporation and a mafia organization friend with Josh.

"I delayed it because of Daddy, Jeff. You know, he hasn't agreed on that. Especially when this is not possible, because Daddy is still in Canada," replied Josh with a sigh.

"Yes, I heard the news about Mr. Luise's accident, Josh. I'm so sorry for that. But, about the new land, which area do you want?"

Josh frowned, confused. Because he himself did not know where a strategic place to build a hotel with a casino in it. "I called you because I didn't know about the area. So, you're the only one who's looking for me, if we need to work together to build this hotel. I think it's great that inside the hotel there's a casino" he said.

"Okay, I'll try to find a land that is ready to be built and strategic for a hotel. Then I'll end this call, 'cause my wife called, '" Jeff said, then hung up.

Josh reopened the file on the construction of the hotel. He was so impressed by the design he had made himself. "I have to make this hotel happen as soon as possible, even though Daddy might scold you later" he murmured.

At night, Josh was already trying to sleep but he was getting restless and unable to fall asleep. Even when he closed his eyes, he recalled Evelyn who had been cold all day.

"Damn! Why am I like this? And why has Evelyn been so cold all day. Should I check into her room?"

"I can't be like this!"

Josh immediately got up from his bed and tried to venture out of the room. The time has shown at 1 am, no one is wandering in this house. Except maybe Eric or the guards.

He tried to settle down and slowly began to open the door of Evelyn's unlocked room. Josh came in and saw the woman had fallen asleep gracefully on the bed. He got closer and looked at the calming face.

"Do I have to look at your face first to make me feel this calm, Evelyn?" his murmur was as slow as possible so as not to disturb.

Next day. Josh woke up shocked to hear an almost deafening scream. He opened his eyes and saw Evelyn in front of him. "Why are you yelling? And why are you in my room?"

"I should have asked. Why are you in my room?" evelyn asked with a frown.

Hearing that, Josh immediately circulated his gaze looking around and making eyes as he realized he was in Evelyn's room.

Holy hooch! Josh was out of his mind to fall asleep in Evelyn's room.

"E–eu... I slept while walking again. Sorry, I surprised you," said Josh lying as he got out of bed and immediately ran out of Evelyn's room.

He entered the room under pressure. She felt ashamed that she had to wake up in front of Evelyn. Right now, maybe the woman is thinking she is a strange man who sleeps while walking. Or maybe he thinks Josh is a perverted guy. It's screwed! That's what's currently filling Josh's mind.

Half an hour later, after showering and getting ready. Josh ventured to get off, but this time he chose not to have breakfast at home because he was embarrassed. He hurriedly got into the car with Eric and quickly left.

While in the dining room, Evelyn felt strange because Josh did not come for breakfast at the dinner table. Nina who had just come from outside immediately said, "Master Josh seems like there is a sudden meeting again. Just now I see, sir's gone in a hurry."

Evelyn frowned. He did not know when the man came out of the room and left. Or is he still ashamed of what happened? Her thought.

"Snack."

"What's so weird, miss?" asked Nina who slightly heard Evelyn's words.

"Your Master– is strange," Evelyn replied as she stood up and immediately left Nina still confused.

"Master and Miss are both weird," Nina murmured.

At the office, Josh immediately opened an email that had just been sent by his friend's company. He immediately saw some photos of empty land there. Then, quickly call Jeff back.

"Hello, Jeff. Looks like my choice fell on the land in the city of Venice. Can you buy it for me? I'll send you the money and sign our contract soon" Josh said.

"By pleasure. So, when are we going to build a hotel there? It's a strategic place, right? I'm looking for that place close to the train station."

"I plan to go there two weeks. Files about the construction I sent, see if my hotel design is good?" ask Josh. He had just sent half the file containing only the design of his dream hotel.

"You're very smart, Josh. I think this is very good. So, what will you name this hotel? Or use your family name?"

"Arachelly Hotels. Five-star hotel with luxurious facilities and of course there is a casino in it," said Josh smiled.

"Arahelly?"

"Yes, my wife's middle name."
