Chapter 19: A Destroyed Career

The mass media has filled Sarah's apartment building. They demanded an explanation about the news, but it has been three days Sarah Violetta Keil, the model who was under the spotlight because of the scandal with the married man, did not appear to the public.

Until new news reappears and becomes a trending topic among the public. That Sarah is not just an ordinary fashion model, she apparently doubles up as an adult magazine model.

The scandal about Sarah spread, resulting in the company that houses her in the police check.

Sarah, who is currently in her apartment, continues to grumble to blame the situation. He had a great argument with Mario, because the man as his manager was also negligent in keeping the photos secret.

"The hard-earned career I woke up just broke, Mario! Where do I hide where my face is? What about my parents? They must have found out about this, it's just that I turned off the phone so no one would call!" restless Sarah. The woman walked back and forth by biting her fingernails. He was thinking about how to silence the media, but he didn't have enough money for it.

"I'll call someone my acquaintance. Maybe he can help and lend funds to silence all the media" said Mario. The man immediately pulled out his phone and scrolled his screen looking for someone's number.

Sarah walked to the window. He wanted to see if the media was still outside the building or had left. But, it turns out they still remain there. It made it harder for Sarah to get out of the apartment.

And elsewhere. Josh was sitting at his dad's desk. After the father told him to go home, he slept at his parents' house at the mother's request.

Now, Master Luise looked at the child firmly. "Are you still upset with Daddy for banning you from being with that woman, Josh? Now you know for yourself how that woman is."

Josh plays his phone lazily. "Yet, Dad. I'm lazy to talk about it."

"You should know who that woman really is. Sarah is a night woman, she is not just an ordinary model. Daddy's client uses him a lot just to satisfy his lust," said Mr. Luise by turning the laptop on the table facing Josh. "Let's see," he continued.

Josh looked at the laptop screen. A video summarizing some photos began to play. The photos show Sarah dating a man of the same age as Mr. Luise at a nightclub.

Josh's hand clenched. He should not easily believe in the woman, even though he loved Sarah very much and dared to oppose both parents. But the woman betrayed him and just used him.

"Are those photos you sent to me, Eric?" suddenly Josh asked the assistant who was standing on the right side of Mr. Luise.

"Send where, sir?"

"Pictures in the box that were sent to my house. Did you send it? Why not tell me directly?" josh asked with a frown, because if not Josh, who else?

"I didn't send it, sir. I only gave the pictures to Mr. Luise and Mrs Irish" Eric argued.

Then, who sent it to Josh, if not Eric?

Josh is confused. "Squeaky. Who would have sent it to my house if it wasn't you?" he sighed, "already. It doesn't matter, now I have to teach that woman a lesson" she said, standing up.

Master Luise prevented, "stop! Where are you going, Josh? Do you want to go back to Sarah's apartment and make a mess there? There's a lot of media, if you go there, then you'll be in the spotlight and Daddy's company will be dragged in!"

"Argh, shit! I wanted to beat up that woman, because I regret not slapping her face!" grumble Josh annoyed. His hands were already clenched, and the roar of his breath began to hunt when at first glance the pictures of Sarah with other men were seen.

"Dad! God, how many times have I told you I don't like Evelyn. You keep forcing me to marry that poor woman!"

"So, what you said, Josh! You agreed to get married, and now you can't escape that marriage. So, get out of here and go back to your house!" firmly Mr. Luise. "If I hear you insult Evelyn again, you'll know the consequences" she said.

Josh snorted, annoyed. He immediately got up from his seat and went out by slamming the door. Eric goes after her and returns with Josh to the house.

On the way, Josh was still not talking to Eric. He continued to scroll through his phone and saw the news developments in the media. He was even more upset when he read the news of his former lover's scandal. Sarah is now her ex-boyfriend.

"When did you know Sarah worked in that unusual industry, Eric?" ask Josh who started lowering his ego.

"Mr Luise had known about it a long time ago. But, about her job as an adult magazine model, I only found out when I was looking for it a few days ago" replied Eric.

"Dam. I guess that woman is indeed a good woman because it initially looks innocent. Mario introduced him to me, and he himself has worn it, hasn't he?"

"You know what Miss Sarah's relationship is with the manager, sir?" asked Eric to make sure.

"The two disgusting humans kissed in front of me! Damnit damnit! I thought back!" his gerrick.

Eric just sighed by shaking his head and staying focused on driving. Until not long ago they had entered Josh's courtyard.

Josh came down with Eric opening the door. Evelyn seemed to have known that if her husband was going home, she was already standing in the doorway smiling.

"You remember the way home, Mr Joshi?"

Josh stopped his steps right in front of Evelyn who asked. The man raised next to his eyebrows and looked at Evelyn sharply. He looked a little furious with the woman because he had dared to say hello and even reprimand her. Not like I first met.

"Go away, I want to rest" said Josh still in a casual tone. Because he was tired of continuing to release emotions after knowing Sarah's rottenness.

Evelyn is not. He keeps blocking Josh's steps and pisses the guy off.

Josh forced her to shift Evelyn's body by touching her, "getting aside, I'm lazy to argue, Evelyn!"

"Why don't you just go home to your boyfriend's apartment? Oh, congratulations, it looks like you're gonna have a funny kid."

Hearing Evelyn's words, of course Josh was again ignited. He stared intently at the woman and gripped Evelyn's arm firmly.

"Honest! What do you know about me and that woman, Evelyn!"
