Chapter 45: Evelyn Goes
"What did you send home, Miss Rose?" eric asked after he got into the room.
Rose smiled as she clapped her hands. "Oh, so the gift from me has arrived at the house? I'm sure your wife is crying right now, Josh" she said, laughing as if everything seemed funny.
Josh frowned, then immediately grabbed Rose's arm by looking at her sharply. "Tell me, Rose. What did you send to my house?! Don't fuck with me!"
"Ck!" decak Rose pulls Josh's hand. "I told you, if I don't want to let you fall into someone else's arms, Josh!" half a glare.
Rose pulled the corner of her lips, then came back and tried to tidy up Josh's tie and suit. He even swept away the dust in the suit while looking at Josh. "What I gave your wife was something that really surprised her."
"Hmm. I think I should go home now, and you should also go home to see your wife's condition. Bye Josh" he winked.
Josh exhaled a rough breath. His hands had been clenching from the moment. He watched Rose until she walked out of the room. Then, Josh looked at Eric and asked, "did Nina call you? What's he saying?"
"Nina asked what happened. Then she said Miss Evelyn was crying while putting her clothes in the suitcase."
Hearing Eric's words, Josh immediately ran out of the room to the elevator. He doesn't care and leaves Eric behind. Then, after reaching the bottom floor, Josh immediately got into his car.
The black car was also on the road. Josh continued to increase his speed to get to his house soon.
A few minutes later, Josh arrived home. He got out of the car and ran into his house. Then Josh went up to the second floor to the room.
How surprised Josh, when he saw his room was messy. Even Evelyn's wardrobe was empty. Josh then ran down the stairs to the kitchen. He was looking for Nina's whereabouts, but it seemed that the woman was both non-existent.

The sound of the door slamming. Eric accidentally opens the door hard and makes Josh surprised.
"Call Nina, Eric! Ask them where they are now!" josh orders with a worried look on his face.
Josh immediately calls her mother, hoping that Evelyn will go there to ease her emotions. He didn't even find anything that Rose had sent to this house.
"Hello, Mommy. Is Evelyn there?"
Josh ruffled his hair, frustrated. "There was a misunderstanding between us. Now Evelyn left the house carrying all her clothes with Nina. I don't know where to look, Mom!" said Josh.
"What do you mean, Josh? You had a fight with your wife? Because what? Jesus, Josh. You're making trouble this time? What if Daddy finds out?" cecar Madam Irish.
Josh sighed, then sat down on the sofa banging on his thigh. "Help me, Mom. I can't think right now. I'm worried about Evelyn, and I need to find her right away."
"You stay there! Mommy will tell Mark to go to your house. Track all cctv, Josh. You have to be smart, don't rely on emotions first, think calmly!" mrs Irish.
After that the conversation ended. Josh rubbed his face violently, then looked at Eric. "Did Nina pick up the phone?"
Eric shook his head, "I contacted him several times but Nina did not answer. Then, after that number is no longer active."
"God! Where you guys are going!"
"Evelyn, why do you have to go. Why not wait for my explanation first!"
"Araghh! It should have been a long time since I cut ties with Rose, for something like this to not happen!"
Josh continued to fumble, grumble and blame himself. He soon gets up and takes Eric to the security room.
"She's all cctv, Eric. I don't even understand where the bodyguards are going!"
After arriving at the security room, Eric immediately checked all the cctv. Evelyn and Nina get in the car.
Not long after, the two men of stature came in and immediately saluted Josh.
"Where have you been?! Why can't I prevent my wife from leaving?!" sergeant Josh with a shrunken forehead.
"Sorry, Sir. We've been trying to catch the car carrying Miss Evelyn, but we've lost track of it, sir."
"Damn! You all are not working! I don't want to know, you need to find Evelyn's whereabouts, now!"
