Chapter 43: The Prize

After the news of Evelyn's pregnancy reached Mr. Luise's ears. The man quickly took his wife, to meet the son-in-law.

Mrs Irish said to give her daughter-in-law a gift. Then, the two set off for Josh's residence, but stopped at a store to buy a gift from Evelyn.

"What are you going to buy, honey?" asked Mr. Luise who was walking by his wife.

"I'll probably gift her a maternity suit, then buy a fancy bag for Evelyn. Hows it? Is my idea– good?"

Hearing that Master Luise immediately nodded and replied, "it's good. Let's hurry up and get to Josh's house!"

After about fifteen minutes, the Irish Lady chose clothes and bags, and the two of them immediately left the store. Master Luise could not even wait to see her daughter-in-law immediately.

Arriving at Josh's house. Markus immediately opened the door for Mr. Luise and Mrs Irish. They immediately walked into the house after Nina opened the door.

Inside, Eric was waiting and immediately invited the two to go to the second floor to meet the owner of the house.

Eric helps Mr. Luise to walk on the stairs, because the elevator at Josh's house is struggling and has not been repaired.

Arriving upstairs. They are greeted by Josh and Evelyn, who immediately embrace each of them.

"Congratulations, Evelyn. Finally you will give us our first grandchild" said Mr. Luise with a smile.

"Good congratulations again, my dear, my sweet daughter-in-law, Evelyn. This is Mommy bringing gifts for you," said Mrs Irish while giving two large paper bags.

Evelyn immediately grabbed the paper bag and looked at it, "what is this, Mom? Why bother giving me a gift?" tanyakanya.

Evelyn smiled and glanced at her husband. "No, Mom. I don't know when he'll give me a gift" she replied in a whisper.

"Josh, have you prepared a gift for your wife yet?" ask Mrs Irish to Josh.

"I'm ready, Mom. But of course I will tell him myself while looking at the prize" replied Josh smiling.

"Ah, yes. Looks like Daddy wants to give you a present too, Evelyn." The Irish mistress blinked one eye and immediately nudged the husband.

Master Luise sighed. She looked at Evelyn and Josh and started talking, "Josh, Evelyn. As Daddy has said, Daddy is very happy with the news of this pregnancy. So without much talking, Daddy would give out shares on Evelyn's behalf at Dexter Corporation."

Hearing that, Josh's bead eyes rounded. He turned to Evelyn, and soon approached her father. "Dad. Did Daddy mean it? Daddy's seriously gonna give me shares?" ask Josh to make sure.

He also looked at the smiling mother while rubbing her shoulders. Then, Master Luise immediately replied. "Yes, Josh. Daddy meant it, but of course it's on behalf of my daughter-in-law. As a gift for her pregnancy. Later, when you can see the sex of the baby, Daddy will give you another gift."

"Dad!"

Josh immediately hugged the father, because he was happy to have been given shares as a gift for his wife's pregnancy. Then, he hugged his mother and after that he hugged Evelyn while kissing the friendly stomach of his wife.

They seemed very happy with the news of the pregnancy, as well as over the shares Mr. Luise gave them. Until a message notification on Josh's phone makes himself surprised.

Josh took a little distance and saw who sent him the message. His forehead immediately puckered when reading the contents of the message.

"Damn! I almost forgot about him. How'this? What if he really comes?"
