Chapter 35: The Walk

That afternoon Josh and Evelyn came out of the room. Both of them were very hungry and were about to head downstairs to eat. However, the two humans looked surprised when they saw Nina and Eric being seen coming out of the same room.

Now, Evelyn moved all her clothes to Josh's room, at her husband's request. After taking a shower and getting ready, Evelyn and Josh came out.

They set out for a walk around the colosseum and other tourist attractions.

Nina raised her head and looked confused. "You know about my relationship with Eric, Madam?" ask Nina.

"Your guts can't be hidden, Nina. And, I know the rest from my husband. He just told me a little bit about it if you've ever been in a relationship with Eric. It's just, breaking up, right?"

Nina nodded faintly. "Yes, Madam. But, I'm still not sure about him."

"Why, Nina?"

"Because Eric's family will probably never agree with me, who is just a housekeeper," Nina said.

Evelyn could see, the woman's face looked gloomy, very far away with a few minutes ago that looked cheerful.

"I'm sure Eric is a good guy. So trust him, yeah. Already, you should be cheerful as usual again," Evelyn said as she patted Nina on the shoulder.

Nina smiles and comes back to Eric because Josh is done calling her.

"Ah, about him. So far I haven't seen her have any other women, other than Nina. So he's not going to play him" Josh said.

Evelyn smiled and sighed. Then I asked, "who called you? Looks like it was serious."

"Sister. He told me that Daddy is getting better and maybe another week will be coming back from Canada" said Josh.

"Thank God, honey. Daddy is finally getting better and will be back soon. I'm glad to hear it" Evelyn smiled.

"Why are you so pretty? Or am I just realizing it?"

"I feel stupid for wasting you yesterday. But, now I'm not gonna let you out of my grasp, baby," Josh said, cupping Evelyn's face and kissing her lips.

Nina looked at Eric in a way. He sighed and immediately replied, "Yes, Eric. I take you back, and will fight for our love in the future."
