Chapter 12: The Conversation

"Mommy? Why don't you knock on the door before you get in?" josh asked, looking excited, because his mother had just entered his room.

Madam Irish raised her eyebrows at a loss, why Josh's expression was like that. "Mommy knocked on the door a few times, but you didn't answer. Why why anyway? You seem surprised by Mommy's arrival?"

Josh immediately looked for an excuse. "Yes, I could have changed my clothes. I'm ashamed that Mommy suddenly came in" replied Josh.

"That's it. Mommy just wanted to tell you something, it's about that damn woman."

Josh frowned. Who does her mother mean fucking woman? Sarah or Evelyn? But there's no way Evelyn, it's definitely Sarah! Her thought. Josh asked curiously, "who is Mommy talking about? Is that Sarah? Why her? Mommy didn't do anything, did she?"

The Irish mistress approached, before speaking she again sighed. "Eric said if Sarah paid someone to pay the fake nurse. What are you gonna do now? Before Eric tells Daddy–, you better go see Sarah and cut off your relationship. Mommy will give you a chance to meet that woman so you can end the relationship with her. Lf it doesn't? You already know the consequences, don't you?"

Josh clenched his hands, his teeth were cracking, his blood seemed to flow faster and rose into his crown. He really did not think with Sarah, why could lie and say not hurt Evelyn. The plan could be ruined if the woman continued to interfere.

"Well, Mom," Josh said, looking down trying to contain his anger.

Afterwards, Mrs Irish comes out leaving Josh looking to start grumbling in annoyance. The man immediately got up and grabbed the car keys that were on the nightstand.

He walked out hastily down the stairs. Seeing Eric standing in the doorway, Josh immediately beckoned him to step aside.

"You're going to see that woman, sir?" eric asked trying to block Josh's footsteps.

Josh turned his head with a sharp look and immediately pushed Eric's body. "Surge! You're the one who complained to Mommy about Sarah? So I have to get there right now!"

Without hindering the master, Eric releases Josh and lets the man into his car and drives away.

Josh drives his car down a deserted street. Sometimes he hit his stir– with annoyance, considering that if the father knew, maybe he would lose all the assets of the father's wealth. Moreover, he had long wanted all five casinos.

Twenty minutes later, Josh arrived in front of an apartment. He hurried in and climbed to the 20th floor of the place where Sarah lived.

In front of the apartment room. He repeatedly pressed the bell button because his phone did not lift.

"Darling?" Sarah is shocked when she opens the door and finds her boyfriend suddenly coming to the apartment. Fortunately, he had arrived here before the man visited him.

"Lake in!" josh's jolt went inside by pulling his girlfriend's hand.

"Sit down!" tell Josh by pushing Sarah's body to sit on the edge of the bed.

Sarah who was confused by Josh's attitude immediately asked, "what's up, honey? Why are you like this?"

"What are you asking, Sarah?! You're the one who paid the fake nurse to harm Evelyn! Just confess!" sergeant Josh with a sharp look.

Sarah's eyes are round. He was surprised to hear it. How did Josh know he was paying someone and that someone was Evelyn's own mother?

"No, Honey. I told you it's impossible to hurt Evelyn let alone jeopardize your position" elak Sarah by holding Josh's hand.

Josh immediately shook Sarah's hand. Now he had his index finger on the woman's forehead. "You shouldn't have interfered with my business with Evelyn, Sarah! Because somehow I can't possibly defend you and lose my family's treasure! I have to play the role right now, but you with your reckless attitude, instead told someone to kill him!"

Josh clutched Sarah's chin. For the first time the man treated the lover harshly. "I don't want to lose my treasure for the sake of you! So my coming here is to warn you!" press it.

Sarah brushed Josh's hand away, grimacing in pain as his chin hurt from the man's firm grip. "Why are you impressed to defend that woman, Josh?! Didn't you yourself agree to get rid of him when you asked him to come to that dangerous place?!"

"That's because I followed your fucking plan! The stupid plan that got me in this position! You know, how Daddy threatened me?! He will not give away his 5 casinos! And so is Dexter Corporation!" josh insists, he ruffles his hair in frustration and tries to hold back his anger.

Josh looked up and looked at Sarah. He went back to thinking, what Sarah said was true as well. He had to find out about the woman and why her parents cared so much about the poor woman they even took from Evelyn's parents to pay off the debt.

"I already know where Evelyn's house is," Sarah said, hoping Josh would agree with her plans later.

"Why do you know his house? Are you trying to extract information about that woman from her parents, huh?!"

"I just want our relationship to get your parents' approval, Josh! I want to get rid of that woman!"

Josh is angry and comes back to Sarah. "I told you, you don't have to interfere in my affairs with Evelyn! That woman let me take care of her! And one more thing, you don't call me too often!"

Sarah's forehead shriveled, not accepting if you have to cut off communication with her lover. "No! I'll keep calling you, Josh! I don't want you to turn to that woman."

"Here you go, I'm lazy to argue with you!" Josh walked to the door.

Seeing that, Sarah did not accept it and immediately ran to hug her from behind. "Don't go, honey. I'm sorry, I promise. I won't call you that often anymore" he said.

"Let go! I have to go!"

"Miss, how's your condition? Is it over?"

Nina asked with a tray of– porridge and water for Evelyn who still could not eat carelessly. He immediately kept the tray on the table, and he took a sitting position on the edge of the bed.

"Don't think too much, Miss. Rich people's lives are like this, they're used to arguing. All you have to think about is recovering and doing the usual activities" Nina said gently and smiled.

"What about Mr. Josh, Nina? Is he still getting the punishment from Master Luise?"

Even though Josh treated her like a maid and resulted in her having to go to the hospital. But Evelyn could not bear to see the look in Josh's desperate eyes when the man was scolded by his father.

Nina sighed and rubbed Evelyn's hand, gently. Then she replied, "Miss calm down. Mr. Josh is now back at the company, although Mr. Luise keeps an eye on him. Eric is also now inseparable from Mr. Josh, he continues to follow according to Mr. Luise's orders."

Hearing that, Evelyn did not know that she should feel calm or agitated. Because maybe the man will hate him even more now, especially Josh separated from Sarah the person he loves the most.

To be honest Evelyn felt regretful, why did she have to faint at that time. If only he had eaten first before setting out on foot to the area, there was no way he would have fainted from the cold.

"When are we going home, Nina? I don't feel good to keep lingering here. Moreover, Mr. Josh, he must have been very tired because he was monitored continuously in this house."

Nina tried to find an answer for herself to say. But, he recalled the words of Lady Irish if this young lady would stay here a little longer because she was worried about the incident at the hospital.

"I don't know, Miss. Later I will ask Mrs Irish," replied Nina accordingly.

"Help me up, Nina," Evelyn said.

Continuing to lay down on the mattress it feels very sore. So, he wanted to take a walk even if he was just walking around in this house or in his backyard.

Nina immediately helped Evelyn to stand up. He started to lead her and left the room. Slowly, the two of them went down the stairs and reached the first floor.

"Where are you going, Miss?" ask Nina to make sure.

"It looks like breathing fresh air in the back garden is better. Take me there, Nina," she replied.
