Chapter 28: Misbehavior

The time has already shown at 4pm. Josh, who was preparing to go home, was suddenly startled by Eric who barged into his room.

"You surprised me, Eric!" reprimand Josh with a grunt.

"Ah, sorry Sir. I've just completed a task from you. Everything about Miss Evelyn is in this file, "Eric said by thrusting a brown envelope.

Josh accepted it too. But, there was no time to open that file now. He immediately put it in his briefcase.

After that both of them walked out of the room and were greeted by some employees who were still working. "Eric, is there any other information about Daddy's accident? Did you find the perpetrator of the white car?" Ask Josh as he continues walking and gets into the car.

Eric got in and started the car. He drove the car and answered immediately. "Still I investigate, Sir. It doesn't seem far from our business opponents."

"Which business? Dexter's company or a dark business?"

"Dark business, sir," replied Eric.

Josh had guessed that his father's accident couldn't have been just an ordinary accident. Especially according to Markus, if they have been followed before the accident.

"Remain that information. Find the culprit, even if it gets to the ant hole though! He tried to harm Daddy, and he'll deal with me later!"

After traveling for about half an hour. Eric and Josh arrived at a house that could be said to look like a magnificent mansion. Then, Josh went down and immediately walked up the stairs to get into his room. For him today is very tiring especially he who still feels not well.

When I'm opening up my shirt. Suddenly Josh's room door was knocked several times. He knew, if it had to be Evelyn. "Come in" said Josh a little loudly.

Feeling like you got permission. Evelyn enters with a tray of warm tea for Josh. "Ah, this is Mister. The tea is warm" he said, putting the tray on the table next to the bed.

"I told you, just call me Josh. I don't really like being called Master, especially by you" Josh said. This time the tone of speech is lower, compared to some time ago who always sniffed when talking.

"Yes, Josh."

"It has. What else do you want here? Do you want to see me undress?"

Evelyn widened her eyes. He quickly nodded, "no! I'll be leaving soon. But want to make sure your body temperature has fallen or is still rising" Evelyn said.

"OKAY. Go ahead" said Josh, humbling his body.

Evelyn looked confused as she did not understand. Josh quickly grabbed the woman's hand for too long. She placed Evelyn's hand on her forehead, so that she could be sure of her body temperature.

After feeling Josh's body temperature that was not as hot as before, Evelyn also quickly pulled her hand out of nervousness. He was quiet and took steps to get out.

Josh stared in confusion at Evelyn, who had disappeared behind the door. Then, he immediately opened his shirt and rushed to the bathroom to wash all the sweat that had soaked his body.

After the bath, Josh was surprised because on his bed had prepared a nightwear for him. Maybe Evelyn prepared it, Josh thought.

After you have finished wearing your sleepwear. Josh again remembered the files that Eric gave, he again grabbed the bag and took it to the work room next to his room.

Next day. Josh was not as usual, he seemed to wake up early and try to wait for Evelyn who might be a few minutes away from waking him up.

Sure enough, five minutes later, Evelyn knocked on the door and entered the room.

"I woke up too early. My sleep is not good" said Josh immediately got out of bed.

"As usual. Get my clothes ready, I'll take a shower" he ordered, stepping into the bathroom.

After getting dressed and a little rushed because there was an impromptu meeting. He ran down the stairs, then accidentally passed Evelyn in the living room.

"I'm in a hurry, get out of the way!"

"You're wrong to wear the tie. Here, let me fix it," Evelyn said immediately approaching to pair Josh's tie.

Yes, Josh only realized if he was in a hurry and wrong to wear a tie. However, now he was a little unfocused when he smelled the scent of lavender from Evelyn's hair. He unconsciously began to feel it and closed his eyes.

Evelyn's reprimand shocked him. "You why? The tie's in order."

Josh blinked his eyes. He nodded a little and immediately replied. "You haven't shampooed how many days Evelyn's been? Why is it so stinky!"

Hearing that Evelyn immediately distanced her body. He felt confused, because only yesterday afternoon he was shampooing, the time was that fast?

"Ah shit I can be late!" josh's grumble immediately ran out leaving Evelyn who was still pecking in order to hide her misguided feelings.

"You what? It's fragrant, really!" evelyn said after kissing her own hair. He immediately called out to Nina, "Nina! Here's a minute!"

Nina who was cutting the vegetable immediately rushed to meet Evelyn after being summoned. "What's up, Miss?"

"You kissed my hair. Fragrant lavender or smell," Evelyn ordered.

Nina obeyed the order immediately and then she spoke again. "Yes the scent of lavender. It doesn't smell, it."

"Any," Evelyn muttered which Nina could still hear.

"Somew why Miss? Did someone say it stinks?" asked Nina curiously.

"No! Never mind, you just continue cooking there!"

That afternoon after two meetings and both of them left Josh out of focus. Now, he was sitting and leaning on a chair with an outward facing that presents a view of the Mediterranean Sea.

"What the fuck! Why did Evelyn's face fill the window," Josh grumbled with a frown. But, he continued to enjoy the sensation of his heart that started pounding because he remembered Evelyn's beautiful face when viewed from a close distance like before.

Moreover, Evelyn's rash lips that make Josh can not focus during the meeting earlier. Josh continues to shadow Evelyn's face, until he is unaware of Eric's arrival.

Eric, perplexed by the strange nature of his master, immediately asked, "what is it, sir? Do you seem to be nervous? Did the meeting really bother you?"

"Well what, Evelyn?" Josh was surprised because suddenly Eric was already in front of him.

Now, the surprised was not only Josh, but Eric was just as surprised when the master mentioned his wife's name. "You're thinking about Miss Evelyn, sir? Is that what bothered you during the meeting?"
