Chapter 27: Getting Started

After the departure of Mrs Irish and Jesslyn took Mr. Luise to the best hospital in Canada. Josh is back to his activities. He started working and taking care of the company.

This morning, Evelyn as usual will always wake Josh up because the man can never get up early. The alarm clock that Evelyn had prepared was damaged by the man slamming her.

"Eeu... Joshs. Uh, Mister... It's 6 in the morning. It's time to get ready to go to the office, before it's too late. Eric says at 8 there'll be a meeting with the client."

Evelyn slowly shook Josh's body. But, when he touches the man, Josh's body temperature is hot.

"Hot?" Evelyn murmured. He immediately made sure by sticking the back of his hand on Josh's forehead. His eyes are rounded, he is surprised because Josh's body temperature is so hot.

"Master. Looks like you're feverish. I'll take a moment to get some water to compress it" Evelyn said despite not knowing whether the man could hear her or not. Evelyn immediately ran out.

Josh, he starts to open his eyelids. Then, circulated his slightly faint gaze and tried to get up. Josh holding his forehead looked dizzy, he could slightly feel his hot body temperature.

"Argh. Why must the fever," he sighed by trying to gather energy to stand.

Evelyn suddenly came and was a little surprised when she saw that Josh was awake. "Don't stand up yet" prevent Evelyn as she approaches. "Don't force yourself if you're not strong. You just take a break, I'll tell Eric if you're sick" she said.

"No. I have to leave, because this meeting is important for Dexter Corporation. Just get the hot medicine in the drawer over there," Josh said, pointing to the drawer behind Evelyn.

Evelyn complied and rushed to bring medicine from the drawer. Then immediately he gave it to Josh while giving white water that he had brought.

"How to force?"

Josh nodded slowly without speaking. He immediately got up, but his body was almost completely shaken and Evelyn immediately put up with it.

"It's still dizzy, right? How about at the office? Better break your intentions."

"Here you go, you better get me a shirt and suit. I'll wash my face" Josh ordered and immediately broke free from Evelyn's grasp, then walked towards the bathroom.

There was nothing Evelyn could do but obey. Although he was a little worried about the man because his body temperature was really very hot. He immediately prepares clothes for Josh before the man returns and is angry if they have not been prepared.

A few minutes later. Josh came out of the room after changing into the clothes Evelyn had chosen. The woman was also behind him. Both went down the stairs and went outside the house.

Eric was in front of the car waiting for Josh to arrive. After her husband entered, Evelyn approached Eric and spoke, "Your Master– has a fever. Please keep an eye on him, because he won't delay the meeting."

Eric nodded and immediately got into the car. Then, the car rolled away leaving Evelyn who was still staring at their departure.

"Miss!"

Nina's spoiled scream surprised Evelyn. He immediately looked over and found the woman not far behind him. "What's up, Nina?"

"Hm... I at first glance seemed like someone was used to serving the husband," he led by closing his mouth while smiling.

"What the hell, Nin. I was just looking after her at my mother-in-law's request" Evelyn said.

"I smell the smell of love beginning to grow."

Again Nina mocked Evelyn. The woman shook her head and said, "kiss the smell of nonsense, Nina! You're cooking, right?!"

Evelyn smiled knot. He was comforted by Nina's sometimes child-like behavior. Evelyn immediately went back inside the house with a sigh, although a little worried about Josh's situation.

"Thank you, Mister. Hopefully this cooperation goes well" said Josh with a smile and shake the hand of a client who had just held a meeting with him.

After the meeting was over. Josh went back into his room. He who was still feeling a little dizzy immediately lay down on the sofa and let Eric peck there.

"Ask my Daddy– secretary. Is there still a schedule for today" Josh said later.

Eric nodded and immediately went out to ask the secretary Master Luise. While Josh he reached into his phone and started to turn it on to see the news in the media.

"It looks like the woman is getting back prey to clear her name with money," he muttered with an annoyed snort.

"It's a good thing I didn't marry that woman. I could have been fooled" again.

Shortly thereafter, Eric arrived. "It seems there is no more scheduled meeting. There are very few documents to be checked and signed" he said.

"Find out all the things about Evelyn."

Eric frowned when he heard a single sentence that slid from the mouth of the cold man before him. Did he not hear wrong? Or is this the effect of his fever until Josh bounces?

"Huh?" that was all that came out of Eric's mouth that was confused.

Josh's forehead puckered, he began to look at Eric sharply. "You didn't hear my orders just now? I need you to find out more about Evelyn! Why is your response like that, huh?!"

"eu... Sorry, Mister. I guess I heard wrong. So you want me to find information on Miss Evelyn?" asked Eric to make sure.

Josh rolled his eyeballs. He seemed a little upset with the assistant who he thought was a little slow. "Yes! Do I need to make an announcement?!"

Eric nodded quickly and soon chimed in. "Good, Sir. I'll find out all about Miss Evelyn. But, what makes you want to know about him, Sir?" asked Eric curiously.

"Just do my orders! No need to ask a lot of questions, before I remove the bonus for you!"

Hearing that Eric looked down again and immediately said goodbye to go carry out his duties.

After Eric's departure. Josh also continued to look at the wedding photos with Evelyn who was on his phone after accidentally downloading the photos in his family group.

The corners of her lips began to lift. She smiled as she tried to enlarge the photo of herself with Evelyn. "You're beautiful when you smile too."

Unknowingly Josh had been praising Evelyn, until a few minutes later he immediately smacked her lips. "Jeez, Josh! What did you just say?!"

In order to maintain his sanity he immediately turned off the phone so as not to continue looking at the photos. Then, he began to close his eyes. But then he came back!

"Damn! Why did the moment of closing her eyes that only Evelyn's face was visible?!
