Chapter 26: Temporary Department

The sound of the VIP room door sounded in the slide. Lady Irish and her daughter turned towards the door.

Evelyn who had just entered was seen smiling nervously and looking down. The Irish lady immediately greeted him, "Evelyn. Here, Son."

Evelyn immediately approached them and greeted the woman beside Madam Irish. "Hi. I'm Evelyn," Evelyn introduced herself with a smile.

"Ah, yes. You're Josh's wife? I'm Jesslyn, just call Jessi" she said, shaking Evelyn's hand and smiling.

"How, Jes. It's true that Josh's wife is beautiful" Mrs Irish praised Evelyn in front of the child Jesslyn.

"Of course, Mom. She is so beautiful" Jesslyn smiled. "It's nice to meet you, Evelyn" he continued.

Evelyn, who was a woman, was fascinated by the beauty of her husband's sister. The man who got it must have been very lucky to have a beautiful wife and a doctor too. Evelyn was a little envious, if only she had stayed in college, maybe now she was working in the hospital where she stands now.

"Where do you work? Or still in college?" jesslyn's question suddenly made Evelyn flustered to answer.

Fortunately Madam Irish immediately replied after seeing the restless face of her daughter-in-law. "He went to college, but unfortunately he had to put it off until now. But, if she's willing Mommy will give it up again," said the Irish Lady with a smile.

Evelyn who heard that was shocked because the first time her mother-in-law offered her to go to college. "I mean Mommy? Is Evelyn going to college? It's not like Mommy ever told Evelyn to focus on taking care of Evelyn's husband" she asked.

"After some thought, it doesn't seem to hurt if you go to Evelyn's college. And... It will help you to be more free if you later attend our client's event. Because it looks like Josh will be promoted soon. While he had to replace Daddy at the company," said Mrs Irish.

Josh is going to step up? Wasn't this what he wanted, and he got it that fast even if it was only temporary because his father was lying in the hospital.

"Have you discussed with Daddy's secretary?" jesslyn asked her to make sure of her mother. Because he knows for himself how his father is. His father couldn't have just given the company away if it wasn't on his orders.

"You know how, Jes. Are you the one who wants to replace Josh in the company? We need to move your Daddy– immediately to the best hospital, and the company will be safer if Josh holds it."

In the middle of their conversation. Suddenly Josh comes in with Eric. Apparently from the outside he had heard the conversation of the mother with her brother.

"What's going on, Mom?" josh asked as he walked over.

"You want to, hold your Daddy– company temporarily? Because his condition can not be known until when can recover," asked Mrs Irish to Josh. "Yes, just think of it as your training to continue that company," he said with a sigh.

Josh is already looking forward to his rise in the company. But, not in this way, let alone seeing the condition of the father, yes even though he was a little upset because he had been betrothed. Seeing the father's body lying weakly with tools attached to his body, Josh was struck.

"Daddy wouldn't be mad if I took over his company? I just don't want to disappoint Daddy." Josh had a serious face. "But if that's what Mommy expects, Josh will try to do what's best for our company" he said.

"Do something, Mario! Don't just shut up and rely on the man who sent the funds! The news in the media must be clean and I can move as usual again! I haven't seen my parents either, they must be very worried" urged Sarah with a sharp look and an upset face.

"I have to how, Sarah. I'm trying to beg the guy to send us back the money, but you don't want to do the terms. In fact, you only slept with him last night, why not? Is it your job to serve the upper men?!"

Sarah rattled her hair. He is frustrated if he has to continue to be under the control of the manager. "No, I don't want to marry you!" reject it firmly. "You go after that Josh! He's a wealthy man and his family is among the most influential people in the country. Why don't you just make plans for them!" he continued to make suggestions.

Sarah remained silent. He was digesting the words and suggestions from Mario. What the man says does have a point, he has to figure out a way to get Josh back even if it has to be in a crazy way.

"Oh, one more thing. Looks like you should know this, Sarah," said Mario.

"What?" sarah asked curiously with a shriveled forehead.

"His father Josh had an accident. That means Josh will soon rise to hold the Dexter Corporation company even though temporarily," explained Mario.

Hearing that, Sarah smiled. His veins have broken, he must immediately devise a plan to get back to Josh.

"But I still have a grudge against his family. Also, it looks like I have to mess with them first by bringing someone in" Sarah said with a grin.

"Who will you bring, Sarah? Don't make it all the more messy if it involves a lot of people. Our money is running low" said Mario.

"You mean thinning how? A month before the scandal broke, I signed with a brand name. And some other product, then where's all that money going? Even you silenced the media using funds from the old man. Our money is safe, right?" sarah with a variety of questions.

"All our money left is no more than 16000 dollars."

"What?! Why just that? Where's the other money, Mario?!" ask Sarah firmly.

"I wear it for gambling!"
