Josh, who had just returned home, accidentally passed Evelyn in the living room. Nina who felt awkward immediately left the two to speak.
The man was seen observing Evelyn from the bottom to the top. The appearance of the woman was indeed much different from her lover, but she also did not deny that Evelyn was beautiful. Coldly, Josh asked, "how are you? Have you improved?"
Evelyn covered her lips before replying, she tried to sigh and reviewed the smile. "My situation has improved enough. Almost recovered, just still a little dizzy."
"Good," said Josh coldly. "Then talk to Mommy and Daddy if you want to come home with me. Because I'm tired of living here" he continued.
Evelyn nodded faintly with a wry smile, "well, sir. I'll talk to Mrs Irish later."
"Mommy. You should call her Mommy, otherwise she'll be mad at you! Anyway call me Josh, sounds uncomfortable when you call me that."
Hearing that, Evelyn immediately nodded. Josh continued his steps up the stairs. While Evelyn, she just stared at the cold back of the man until it reached the top.
Nina came back and immediately asked Evelyn to go up to the second floor. "Patience, Miss. I'm sure, Mr. Josh will soon melt away and turn away from the woman, then love Miss" whispered Nina with a smile.
"Hush! You don't talk like that, Nina. I'm fine, it doesn't matter if we just get married because of coercion. I don't love Mr. Josh either" she shook her head.
Both of them continued to step foot until they reached the front of the room and went inside. Evelyn spilled herself. Nina leaves and lets Evelyn rest.
The woman looked at the ceiling. At first glance the shadow of a childhood full of laughter and joy came back to his memory. Evelyn herself did not know, the memory of who she remembered. Moreover, when looking at the two adults who were in the shadow was very different from both parents.
At the age of 5, Evelyn fell and suffered a mild concussion that resulted in some of her memories being lost. He also knew from his parents, after several times complaining of dizziness and always seeing the shadows of childhood that he did not recognize.
Now, when he closed his eyes, he caught a glimpse of two children running around. Women and men, it's just that they look different ages. Maybe the age difference is about 7 to 8 years.
"Ah, I was always made to be agitated when I thought about those two little children. Who're they? And why can't I remember it? Who are the two adults with us?" Evelyn began to wonder with a sigh, and was confused. "Hm... After all, if it's true that's my memory–, maybe just a glimpse of the memory that starts back," he continued.
It was getting dark, and dinner time came. Nina knocked on the door a few times and Evelyn let her in. Of course the woman had been neatly dressed wearing the expensive pajamas her in-laws gave her.
"Come, Miss. Madam Irish and Mr. Luise were already waiting downstairs," Nina asked with a smile and a little tidying up Evelyn's hair.
"Mr Josh is down?"
"No, Miss. Just now Eric went up to the second floor with me. Come.." answered Nina by inviting Evelyn to walk immediately.
In front of Evelyn's room, she meets Josh who is still staring at her coldly. That flat expression Josh always gave to Evelyn in addition to his sharp gaze.
Then Josh walked down the stairs first and Evelyn followed behind him. Eric and Nina walk in the back.
Arriving in the dining room. Both of Josh's parents warmly welcomed Evelyn by smiling at her, in contrast to Josh whom they treated coldly.
"Mom, Dad! Why are you still being cold to me? Didn't I admit my mistake and apologize to Evelyn?" ask Josh with a frown.
"Alright, Josh. Now is the time to eat do not discuss anything else," concluded Mrs Irish.
Hearing that, Josh clucked and leaned his body on the back of the chair. He had no appetite if the atmosphere was like this, let alone having to be next to Evelyn. Josh stood up and left.
Master Luise was seen frowning and pounding the table. "Where are you going, Joshi?!"
Josh stopped his steps as his father snapped. He immediately turned his body and rolled his eyes. And then he replied, "I'm not hungry. So, please continue eating without me. Besides, it's Evelyn's kid now, isn't it?"
Madam Irish looked at him sharply. He got up from his seat and immediately approached the child. And then yanking Josh's ears like a child, "you sulk again like a child! Come sit down and eat! Otherwise, Mommy will snatch all your– facilities and tell you to sleep outside!"
Josh grimaced in pain. She was no longer a child, but her mother treated her like a child. "Yes, Mom, I'm sorry. Yes, Joshi eats now" he said.
Seeing that, Master Luise simply shook her head and sighed. His wife knew best how to ease the almost heated atmosphere with her slightly angled self.
Next day. Josh hurried down the stairs due to misfortune. He opened the door and accidentally collided with someone.
"Armgh!"
"If the road wears eyes!" josh jolts when he sees who the person he hit.
"sorry. Does your hand not hurt?" evelyn asked reflexively holding onto Josh's hand that was slammed into the door.
Josh brushed Evelyn's hand. "Let go, fool! Since when do I allow you to hold my limbs!"
"Sorry, Sir. I reflexed for fear that your hand would be hurt" Evelyn said with a lowered head.
"Surge!" josh snapped by pushing Evelyn's body and almost made the woman's body fall down.
Josh did not realize that someone was looking at him sharply from the stairs. "Joshi!"
Josh's eyes are rounded, his legs reflexively braking and turning. "Mo–mommy? Why are you still home?"
Madam Irish walked quickly over to the two people. His face of course looked annoyed, he immediately snapped at the child. "You dare to push, Evelyn! Is your apology fake, Joshi?!"
Josh was feeling shit today. She thought her mother had gone to her shop. "Sorry, Mom. I reflexively pushed Evelyn in a hurry. I don't want to miss the meeting, because Daddy threatened me if I was late, then the proposal I've made will not accept Daddy."
"Reason! Just tell me you're still upset and haven't accepted Evelyn. Now, give Mommy your car keys!"
"Mom!"
Madam Irish glared and urged Josh. "Let's give it to you quickly! Should Mommy tell Daddy– you about Sarah?!"
Hearing the threat of the mother, forced Josh to give the car keys with resignation.
"Your wallet!" pinta Madam Irish again.
"Mommy! Is that true? Then I go on a ride what if Mommy snatches my car and my wallet?"
"Let's hurry!"
Josh clucked and immediately took out his wallet from his pocket. "May Josh ask for money?"
Madam Irish sighed. He immediately opened the wallet of the child and pulled the two pieces of money and gave them. "It should be enough until you return to this house. Don't hitchhike on your Daddy– car! It's Mommy's punishment because you pushed Evelyn!"
Josh snorted in annoyance and stared cynically at Evelyn. 'Damn it! That woman is slowly making me lose everything, Josh.
