Chapter 64 The Prince's Kiss

In March 2011, three more months of class exams will be conducted but this time Ratna is quite confident. He studied diligently even while working part-time, all conditions in his life are now in good condition whether it is a matter of friendship, family or romance.

Amus gave a lot of unusual little attention and he was happy about it, today they made a promise to watch a movie along with others.

Although this is just an ordinary watch but both Jimy and Ratna have their own partners, it would certainly be annoying for Ardi if he had to come alone. Lucky a few days ago there was a girl who declared her love, although Ardi initially refused but he still took her away as a friend.

"Five minutes to go, the movie's gonna start, we'd better get in now" Jimy said.

"Oh wait, we haven't bought any popcorn yet" Ratna said.

"Aish....why don't you say from earlier if you want popcorn, well you guys go in first let me buy it" said Amus.

They immediately entered and sat on the seat after the number listed on the ticket, before long Amus appeared with popcorn in his hand. He was sitting right next to Ratna and Ardi was sitting right on his left.

Although the film they watched was quite good but Ardi's eyes always looked to the right side of Ratna where Amus and Ratna both enjoyed popcorn, a simple thing that made Ardi consumed by jealous flames.

An hour more passed, the film was over and they continued their journey to the lakeside to enjoy the cool enough marching winds.

"Hey want to take a boat? I'm sure it must have been fun" Rere bargained.

"I want to!" ratna shouted excitedly.

They rent a small boat that only fit four people, Ardi deliberately said there was no need to come so that only the couple Jimy and Ratna were riding.

He sat in front of the lake staring at the cheerfulness of Ratna who could not be silent, there was a faint smile as he looked at the girl he liked to be happy with others even though there was no status.

"Is....he the reason behind your refusal?" ask Ardi's friend who has been quiet since by paying attention to everything.

"You... like a cheerful girl like her huh?"

"Not really, I just love it without knowing the exact reason. Maybe it's because we've been together since childhood, or maybe it's because he never thought of me as a man"

"But... Did you see her smile for someone else?"

"I've noticed it not long ago, but even so I still want to try"

While in the boat Ratna still can not stay still by playing water, sometimes the boat becomes rocking until it makes others panic.

The voices that called out to him were getting smaller and smaller and he could not hear, his hands stretched out trying to reach anyone because even though he opened his mouth to ask for help but his voice did not come out. Slowly his chest began to clench from swallowing too much water, in an increasingly weak condition his eyes slowly closed but faintly saw someone trying to swim towards him. He saw the figure of the prince who then managed to grab his hand, pulling it until he managed to hold it.

Between conscious and unconscious he felt a kiss that gave him life, then voices began to call out to him. The longer the clearer and tighter, he opened his eyes and immediately vomited water that he had swallowed.

Ratna nodded in response as her throat still hurt.

"We should go home, you should change your clothes before you catch a cold" Jimy suggested.

He hoped it was Amus but somehow he was not sure because Ardi's clothes were wet too, considering how he always looked after Ardi could have helped him.

"What's? both of them saved me?" ask Ratna not to believe it.

As usual the answer did not make Rere silent, instead Rere continued to force Ratna to talk. If he still did not want to talk then Rere would lure him with a trap question.

"Amus is the guy you like, right?" ask Ratna.

"What do you mean?" reply Ratna with a face that began to turn red.

"You are actually a suitable partner, said the couple who often fight is the most loyal and sincere. I noticed she also seemed to put a heart on you"

"Don't you just talk, how do you know she's got feelings for me?"

"Ratna. when a man is in love then he will be childish, sometimes he does something silly or something that irritates us. But it's all for the sake of your attention to her, after all you've been friends since childhood where there may be no feelings"

"Because he's ever betrothed me to his best friend, if he really likes me, he's definitely not going to do that"

Amus also released a photo album that he accidentally found, it is a photo album of his childhood. There are also some photos of them and Ratna there, one of them when they go to school for the first time.

"Geez the dollar looks so cute here, I didn't expect now that she's turning into a bitchy girl" Amus said staring at the photo.

"But I like it" Ardi said suddenly.

"What?" amus asked as if he had not heard.

"Although she is not as pretty as other girls, though she is always careless, even though she is stupid, even though she only likes food and money I still like her. Like as a man to a woman, I love her" replied Ardi asserted.

For a moment they were silent, staring at each other until Amus realized that Ardi was serious about his words. He also remembered some moments where Ardi and Ratna were always together, he was sensitive enough to feel that the feeling was real.

"That's it" replied Amus trying to smile.

"Are you going to support us as a friend?" ask Ardi.

"No! I.. will support you as a brother"

"Thank you" said Ardi immediately hugged Amus.

Almost fell tears wetted Ardi's back, but he had to be strong and keep smiling. It's not the first time, he's been through this and has gotten used to coming back in heartbreaking reality.

If it's on someone else maybe this time he'll refuse, but not if it's Ardi or Jimy. Because they are not only friends but brothers who are always there when he is alone, only his heart is injured and that is not a problem.
