Chapter 5 New school

A blue skirt and a clean white shirt, a long blue tie completes his uniform attributes on Monday. Along with his father he rode a bicycle on a sunny morning to school, the guard throwing smiles as the father and son arrived at the gate.

"Excuse me sir, I'd like to meet the principal. Has he come?"

"Sapardi sir?" guess the security guard.

"Rubber, I am" replied Ratna's father kindly.

"Please enter, the head is waiting in his room" said the security guard.

"Thank you."

By herding Ratna's father's bicycle through the gate and parking it, the time had already shown at 08:00 where the flag ceremony had been completed and the students had entered their respective classes.

"Excuse me.." said Sapardi as he entered the teacher's room.

"Yes sir what is necessary? " ask one of the teachers.

"I'd like to see the Principal"

"Oh please come in, he is in his room" he said, pointing to a door in the room.

Ratna and her father immediately entered the room, where the Headmaster had apparently been waiting for them since then. They talked for a while about some of the rules that Ratna had to obey and various other things until a teacher was assigned to take Ratna to her class.

The whisper in the classroom was suddenly silent as the teacher came in and brought Ratna into it, at first Ratna felt embarrassed because all pairs of eyes were on her but after she tried to stare around suddenly the pleasure diverted her nervousness.

"For everyone. "greet the teacher.

"For ma'am." replied the disciples in unison.

"Today you make new friends, I hope you can help him in learning and introduce our school environment well. Agara is more familiar let you hear his name directly"

"Include yourself" whispered the teacher distracting him.

"Ah, um..introduce my name Ratna" said Ratna with a smile and looked at just one corner.

"The name is as pretty as it is!" shouted one of the male students.

Uuuu......

The other cheers made a new noise.

Prok Prok Prok Prok

"Enough, Ratna please sit in an empty chair over there" said the teacher to stop the commotion.

Slowly and cheerfully kept smiling Ratna walked past a few disciples and sat down on the designated bench.

"It looks like we're a match" whispered Jimy to bring his body closer to Ratna.

"If you're a match, should I marry the three of you in the future?" reply Ratna.

"The distance of our house is only seven steps and now the distance of our seats is only two steps, are you trying to approach me?" amus asked with a fixed view forward.

"Who wants to stay close to you? don't try to get me into a fight on my first day of school again"

"Calm down a bit, Na wake me up if the teacher notices me" Ardi ordered, sitting right in front of her.

"What do you want to do?"

"Sleep!" the answer is immediately put the book in front of the face.

"Basic!" mumbling grumbling.

He does not like to be ordered, but at the same time can not refuse an order directed at him as well. Even so, he still smiled with relief, because he sat around his childhood friends who he already knew very well.

The hour of rest arrived without feeling, Jimy immediately closed the book and approached Ratna.

"You want to come with us?"

"Where?"

"Eating instant noodles, as per teacher's orders I will introduce you to our wonderful school"

" All right, let's go!" answered Ratna girang.

"Wake up! it's time to rest" said Amus patting Ardi's shoulder who was still sleeping.

"Hmmm... hoaammmmm... wait for me!" his screams stared at Ime the departure of Amus and the others.

Ratna walked right beside Jimy while listening to all his explanations about the school, while Amus was right behind and the new Ardi followed.

"Woi Master! you brought it, didn't you?" ask a male student.

"Of course, wait for me at my usual place to catch up" Jimy replied.

"Not for long"

"Wouldn't..."

"You got a nickname?" ask Ratna.

"All the boys must have it" Jimy replied casually.

" really? so what's your nickname?"

"I'm Master, Amus the Naldo is short for Ronaldo because he's good at playing football and Ardi the white rabbit"

"Why white rabbit?"

"You will know later, by itself you will understand" said Amus while patting his shoulder gently.

Actually Ratna was still curious but because they had arrived at the cafeteria then he stopped asking, Jimy ordered each one serving of instant noodles soup with egg toppings. For Ratna the lunch was quite luxurious and pleasant as she could enjoy the food back in peace.

"Um...it's really delicious!" said Ratna sipped the last broth in her bowl.

"All I'm saying!" jimy said proudly.

"We're too late!" said Ardi saw the watch.

"Oh shit! let's go!" erang Jimy who soon followed the departure of Ardi.

"Wait, where are you going?" ratna asked confusedly.

"We need a moment, you go to class first your food has been paid for" replied Amus who came in haste.

"It sucks! as important as their business to leave me like this" he murmured.

Inevitably he had to go back to class alone, without the presence of the three people it feels now he is really lonely and foreign. One classmate he did not know except his three childhood friends, bored he could only wait for them to return by sitting in class.

"Hi, introduce me to Mita" said a female student approaching her.

"Oh yes, you.. who became a secretary right?" tanyakanya.

"Yes, um. You can borrow my notebook to catch up" he bargained.

"Thank you, I really need it"

"Um... I saw you walking with the Master gang, are you SD friends?" tanyanya.

"You can tell me that, our house is neighbors"

"Oh, that's how it looks"

"Why?"

"Huh? ah nothing, it's just weird that you new students can walk with the bad boy gang"

"Snake?" repeat Ratna curious.

"Oh, just plain naughty. Like not following the teacher's orders, or skipping lessons and others, but still not in the category of role model students."

Hahaha

The two laughed considering the word role model is often addressed to quiet students with glasses and nerds. But the word naughty makes Ratna remember her adventurous childhood, he and his three friends were often said to be naughty just because they play something that adults think should not be done by them, like something more dangerous.

"Although so Amus and Ardi are smart students, if their behavior is good they must always rank at the top" said Mita.

"I understand" said Ratna who did know how high the IQ of the two people.
